As Suraj has gained a lot of brand value in Hamirpur in past 2-3 years, I went there with lot of expectations but if you're from a metro city then you would find this place quite average (in terms of taste). I would strongly recommend their management to work on their staff behaviour as they usually ignore guests and sometimes raise their tones too. If you're a South Indian or lived there then you won't like their south Indian dishes at all. They uses dry coconut powder and add coconut oil to make coconut chutney unless using fresh coconut. Chaat and North Indian food was so-and-so.

I ordered the Shahi Paneer and 5 tandoori rotis. The Shahi Paneer had a burning smell and tasted very poor. The tandoori rotis were also dry and overcooked. In addition, the prices at your restaurant have increased significantly I am very disappointed with the experience I had at your restaurant. It is a reputed and good restaurant and sweet shop in the town. It has five outleiin the town but the main restaurant is located in the beginning of Downquali, near Gandhi chowk. It is a good option to food lovers who opt for a healthy, hygienic, and clean environment and a cool place to eat. Apart from different food options it has variety of sweets that it manufactures on its own and variety of bakery products. The main noted thing is that , it is pure Vegetarian restaurant in the town. Punjabi Chinese, south Indian and continental dishes are served here. A quick bite snacks variety is also available and there are number of beverages available for customers. South Indian dishes are good but dosa needs to be improved and Idli is not available here which is main ingredient of South dishes. All over it is a good option for a family dining plan. Good place for families and friends.

The restaurant deals in mostly all major foods including North Indian South Indian Ala Carte and some other snacks as well. The prices are decent and the quantity that you get is good. The only thing i felt could be better is the ambience. Inside of the main hall it felt a lil claustrophobic as there was very less lighting and tables are placed very close to each other. Other than that I will recommend this place. Must visit once. Try their Masala dosa. For 150 rupees the size of dosa is worth it.

I think sweets are good but for food they need to improve a lot. The taste is not like you are eating in a restaurant. Taste is fade.

Ideal place to enjoy dahi bhala & authentic dosa in Hamirpur. Slightly overpriced but overall quite neat with good quality. Take away is cheap in comparison to the sitting facility.
