Went and signed in and had my appointment 2 hours later. Doctor was very nice and I enjoyed my visit. Thought that I would just use them as my doctor from now on. Had a strep test done and a flu test. Doctor said I had the flu. Gave me flu and cough medication. Less than two days later I am feeling better, except my throat. A few times a day the pain is a 10/10. I called and spoke with them about getting me an antibiotic to make sure everything is covered in case it was not the flu. They wanted me to come back in even though they just saw me. I am not going to spend another 150 dollars to say hi and get medicine. Normal caring medical facilities would have called that antibiotic in after this call, but this place would rather take more money to look at what they already did. I will never step foot back in this place and never recommend it to my friends or enemies. Complete waste of time and money. Minute Clinic should be ashamed of themselves. Also going to Walgreens over CVS for all other items. Just shocked at the uncaring nature. Going to a minor emergency room instead to fix their mistake and unwillingness to help someone in pain.

Would give zero stars if I could. This place is a scam. Came in for basic blood test for me and my partner. We were surprised at checkout because we were only charged $60 each, even though the website said closer to $120 each. I asked multiple times if the bill was right and if we would be asked to pay more. Was told no multiple times. Three weeks later, we received bills in the mail from Quest Diagnostics stating that we owed another $700. No explanation. When I called the customer service line for Quest, they referred me to Minute Clinic. I called the customer service line for Minute Clinic and they forwarded my info to the manager. The manager told me it was common practice and there was nothing they could do, despite employees lying to my face about the charges. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had from a simple medical visit. And I once got food poisoning in Japan and had to muddle through a foreign emergency room without a translator. I would take that again over coming back to this Minute Clinic.

After dealing with this clinic I don’t even want to go through it all. I have soar throat for the millionth time in my life. It’s either strep or pharyngitis. Antibiotic needed but not given and I’m pretty sure because she was pushing me to go get a COVID-19 test. I did but why didn’t she give me antibiotics still? My condition got worse so went to urgent care and got antibiotics. Amazing how much better I felt in less than 24 hours.

Not a good place, although the staff is nice something is up with their process. I came and wanted to get a vaccination sat down and apparently their system was down. I booked a appointment for the next day but couldn’t make it so tried to reschedule and it appears most places in Houston won’t let you online. Arrive to the office a couple of days later and the wait was crazy. After looking at other locations with a zero wait if your in a rush or can’t afford a three hour wait go elsewhere. Some people who are here with me now had appointments a hour ago and are still waiting...

Walked in and was seen in 20 minutes! The Nurse Practitioner was very thorough, empathetic, and a provider of quality care. She provided me with the medication I needed alone with proper education. The nurse practitioner called me to check in and follow up after my visit. Excellent community health resource!!

This review of the minute clinic is for Nurse Alexandra Hacker.. I went to the clinic because I wasn’t feeling well, it was a little wait but this is the only clinic in montrose. I thought I had the starting of the flu. Nurse Alex took care of me not only by making sure my physical well being was ok but also by checking my mental health. She took time to talk to me and really get down to why I was feeling sick. She spoke to me like a friend and was very positive with her recommendations. I left that day feeling so much better mentally. She was so nice and so very caring. It made me want to be a nurse. I went up for another check up about 6 months later and I remember how she really really helped me , and I really hope that she knows she made a difference in my life and I will never forget that. She talked me down from a very dark place. Thank you so much Nurse Hacker

They called me 10 minutes before my appointment to inform me they had discontinued flu testing. I made the appointment two days prior indicating that i wanted a flu test. They even called me an hour before to confirm i would be coming in. They had 2 whole days to inform me that they couldn't provide me what I needed, time I could've used to make another appointment and get tested. Now I'm unsure if I have the generic flu or Corona.

This clinic is the best. I was in and out. Rochelle was very nice and professional. The practitioner Taresa was also very nice and professional. She made me feel very comfortable. She is AMAZING at her job. Thank you both so much.

Not only incompetent, but very rude staff. Better off going to urgent care. Never again!

Don't even waste a minute considering this as an option, they actually deserve a 0 if that was possible. My husband came in from out of town with a bad sore throat and cough and we went immediately to this "walk-in" clinic to seek help 15 minutes before their closure. There were no patients and the medical personnel was sitting around chatting, but yet they refused to see him because we were "too close to their closing time", even if we begged them, and were visibly worried about his conditions. They showed no empathy whatsoever and the doctor didn't even come out to talk to us, very cold, inflexible and rude. Luckily we were still on time to go to a close-by urgent care, CareNow River Oaks on West Gray, where the caring and well-prepared medical staff visited my husband, tested him and prescribed a therapy with very detailed explanations and instructions.
