Its a clean quiet spot to watch and listen to their water fountains. Which are lit up at night. Lots of light at night. It has many free events and family outside Friday night movies for free. It has church events, community based concerts and other activities available for events and scheduled at City of LaPorte City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, Ci5 of LaPorte's Parks & Recreation. And can also contact Bayshore Sun(LaPorte's local newspaper.

it is a great place to gather. it has swings & colorful neon lights. it's often the center of whatever event is going on. plus there are free movies sometimes on Friday.

We went to the farmer's market going on on Saturday morning. They had some interesting items. There's also a small bar across the street we enjoyed. (Battleground Saloon) It's a nice place to take your dog. We saw lots of dogs there.

What a wonderful time was had last night at the Christmas on Main Street in La Porte! The school bands and the organization that created a smooth flow of such cheerful happy people was a winner for all! We were so happy to see so many families and kudos to not allowing alcohol and for having plenty of our guys in blue and our EMS available. We felt safe and it definitely helped to keep us all in the Christmas spirit! We highly recommend this venue, park and facilities for future local events!
