If you love good food and drinks, this place is a must-have! I was able to come try the Kona Milk Tea, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, and Spam Musubi — they’re absolutely AMAZING! The owners are super sweet! I highly recommend that you check this place out. Excited to try out their other drinks 😁

I was able to stop by for Kona Cafe's soft opening! My coworkers and I have been waiting for this, so we were so excited, especially since I haven't had the chance to try the Katy location. We all ordered the Kona Ocean, which is a specialty latte. Not too sweet and still pretty strong! Definitely would order this again. They offered cups of their house blend for the soft opening, and as someone who doesn't drink black coffee, it tasted so good. I didn't feel the need to add sugar or creamer because of the flavor profile. They offer a few options for breakfast (muffins, croissants, avocado toast) and even some things for lunch (bulgogi bowls, spam musubi). The blueberry muffin I got was good, but a bit sweeter than I prefer. There was some kind of icing or filling inside. I'd still get it again, but coffee helps. Definitely stop by if you're near the tunnels! The drinks are pricey, but it's a nice, locally owned shop with sweet owners. They forgot to make one of my coworker's drinks and gave her a free treat. Update: My coworkers and I came back to try their food options for lunch! We tried the beef bulgogi and spicy pork options as well as some spam musubi. The spam musubi is great, can't go wrong there. For $11-$12, it's a great deal in the tunnels! Each box came with the respective meat option, rice, cabbage salad, and japchae, which is Korean glass noodles. We really enjoyed the lunch, and it was so much food for the price. A solid, authentic Korean option for lunch. I also got to try their biscotti and I love it! Will be back for more to pair with my morning coffee. :)

🚨 UPDATE NOV 2023: They recently added Korean ramen to the menu. It's delicious as-is, but they also let me customize my order. See photos. I hope they add my custom build to the menu. It was phenomenal! 😋🤤🤤🤤 FIRST REVIEW 2022 ‼️Highly recommend!!! Their coffee is so smooth and tasty, their musubi is delicious, and their bulgogi bowls are amazing. I love this place not only for their menu but also for their great and friendly service! Also, their affogato is 🤤 🤤 🤤

I went in today for their soft opening. I got the cold brew, apple muffin, and avocado boiled egg croissant sandwich. The cold brew is good, and I'm looking forward to trying some of their other coffee options. The apple muffin is also good. It's very much like a coffee cake in muffin form. I almost took a cranberry scone instead but I'll save that for next time. The avocado boiled egg croissant sandwich was the more exciting purchase. In addition to the avocado and egg, the sandwich has balsamic drizzled over the ingredients. I wouldn't have thought to ever combine balsamic with the egg and avocado but I have to say, it is quite good and I'm glad I tried it. The sandwiches have the option to be served on a croissant or bagel. Finally, the staff were all very friendly and seem like very kind folks. There was a line full of curious office workers forming when I arrived, but they still served everything promptly. I'm thrilled to see something new and fresh in the tunnels, especially right outside my building.

I decided to try the Avocado & Boiled Egg Croissant and now it is my go to meal for breakfast. At first I wasn’t sure if I wanted the sauce, but I am glad that I decided to leave it. It is a hint of sweetness, but not overpowering. I definitely would recommend this place. Recommendations that another customer told me about, the Morning Plate and Korean Cheesesteak.

Food and coffee are exceptional. One of the more delicious places in downtown for sure. It's a bit pricey, but it's premium quality.

Great go-to for lunch in the tunnels! The service is always prompt. I've enjoyed the kimbap, and bibimbap, as well as the mocha latte so far.

This place is fantastic and always a pleasure to order from. I usually order breakfast from them. The nova lox but today I tried the avocado & boiled egg on a croissant and it was so tasty! The balsamic glaze is a really nice touch and adds great flavor! Also their musubi is great as well!

The food here is equally as good as their drinks and its a great quick location in the tunnels. Recommend their musubi for a quick breakfast/lunch snack. The service is also great; quick and friendly. Special shoutout to the cashier in the hat, love seeing her everytime I come. Downside is the location, a bit tucked away in a long corridor. If you're coming from the Pennzoil area, its the tunnel between Starbucks and Which Wich.

My favorite place to buy takeout from on the Louisiana side of the Tunnels. This is a Hawaiian-themed cafe but the owners are Korean-American so most entrees on the menu are Korean. I usually get the Beef Bulgogi bibimbap bowl and it's consistently prepared well, every ingredient tastes fresh and balanced, not too heavy in sodium. The spam musubi are very decent as well but now that they have added additional snack items, I have been fond of the kimbap lately. The extra large oatmeal cookie is very worth trying for $2.99. The affogato iced latte is very good here but calorically dense. You are always greeted with a smile here.

First time visiting the cafe and I got the Shrimp Tempura Kimbap. It was really good and the sauce that came with it was good too. I got the cold brew with it and I liked how strong it was. Not too overwhelming. Will definitely be coming back!

So glad I found this gem in the tunnels. The matcha latte was so creamy and perfectly sweetened. I will definitely return to try their food!
