I don’t think you understand how much I love Clarkwood. The atmosphere is excellent, the bar tenders are AMAZING with great energy and strong drinks. The attention to detail in the design is perfect, from tea lights in the glass bar to add depth to the candle drippings, the single statement light piece, the functional lights to decorate, the checkered flooring in the restroom. The drinks are each crafted by hand, even when they are slammed and super packed. I love how you can grab a table, first-come-first-serve without having to buy $500 bottle service. If you come here then you’re the type of person that knows where to go. It gets PACKED on the weekends but I’ve been there during the week when it’s a little quieter and the bar tenders take true joy in making the cocktails. I even got an extra roasted marshmallow just because I loved the one that came on my martini lol. ANYWAYS, POINT IS, go to Clarkwood. 10/10.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite places to grab a cocktail or glass of wine with my friends. This space is intimate enough for a date or lively enough to get your night started. From the seating and lighting, to the music and decor this space is very smartly done. Make sure to try their Expresso Martini.

This place is such an amazing vibe! The drinks are beautifully made, and the ambience is one of the best in Houston!. They have this tasty champagne called MADAME ZERO that is zero sugar and taste delicious that I’m obsessed with! Make sure you make a reservation before going, they do get pretty pack during traffic hours :)

I feel like this place is still trying to find its identity. I’ve been here after dinner on a Saturday night & for hh on a Tuesday. The Saturday night vibe was very much like a club, extremely loud music, but no dance floor & it was very, very crowded.. almost uncomfortably crowded. The drinks are also very expensive. The happy hour vibe wasn’t crowded at all, but the music was too loud for a hh. People come to happy hour to relax.. playing loud club music doesn’t give the right vibe. There’s also a very strong smell piped through the AC that’s a bit much. The hh menu was fine, $10 for cocktails, half off bottles of wine, & the only food they have is a charcuterie board. The cocktails are very creative, presented well & taste very good! That said, it’s good for one drink before or after dinner.

The experience here was decent but nothing that I was surprised by. I’ll start off by saying that the drinks are not bad at all. Good mixes with good ideas and some of the bartenders are also interactive which adds to the overall experience. There’s a couple of points that make this review lower than I would want it to be. I understand that parking is not their fault but if you are not there at the right time you won’t be able to park close. Secondly, the inside is a bit cozy and interesting looking, but you’re working with perhaps 1000sqft total area including bar space etc which doesn’t help when a big crowd is present at this bar. The prices are understandable because of the area, however the overall quality and quantity isn’t too justifiable. 3 stars is not bad at all; this place is definitely worth trying and going every once in a while. It is upscale nonetheless which saves you from overwhelming crowds. I would come back here without a doubt but my visits would not be too frequent.

Being from Houston all my life, as a kid I’d pass by Clarkwood all the time, I remember thinking “when I grow up, I’m going to go there.” Well, I’m all grown up and the wait was worth it. The drinks were fabulous, not only were they garnished beautifully but they taste as good as they look. The atmosphere eludes class, the house music elevates the vibes just perfectly, but most importantly the service was everything I hoped for shout out to my server for making my first experience at Clarkwood everything I hoped it would be.

What an amazing experience, attention to detail and amazing experiences were provided with ease. The mixology and presentation were amazing. Now what you really want to know... The drinks are amazing! No corners cut and the marriage of flavors has been done to the 10s and not the 9s.

Hands down, one of my favorite cocktail bars in Houston! Levon is an AMAZING bartender. From my very first time visiting, he welcomed me with a big smile & was very attentive! Nonetheless, you are bound to have some delicious drinks made by some very talented and friendly bartenders! Don’t forget to try their cheeseboard, it’s to die for as well as their espresso martinis!

Men, this is a damn cool spot to bring your date, to treat her to a FANTASTIC spot. She'll be impressed. The sound system is better than at some clubs. Rich sound. Parking is kinda a hassle, but this place is well worth it. Drinks: plentiful. The bartenders know what they're doing. I'm not a martini type of guy, but YOU HAVE TO have an ESPRESSO MARTINI. Show some class and get the charcuterie board, along with your drinks.

Came here on a Friday night was greeted and taken excellent care of by Kylie and the manager. They seated us (part of two) quick after maybe a 10 minute wait on a busy Friday. Excellent drinks. Excellent vibes excellent service I’ll be back and thoroughly enjoyed my time!

Monika had the best drinks! The atmosphere here is always amazing - it can get busy but even then the service is always quick and efficient. Love coming here definitely a place to check out.

We’ve been excited to enjoy cocktails at Clarkwoods and we were not disappointed! Oscar was super personable and helped us explore some yummy cocktails. The ambiance was beautiful and presentation was one of a kind for every single cocktail and even shot. Our new favorite go to cocktail place!

Love the vibe here! Juani took great care of us and knew just what to suggest when we told her what we liked. We tried a few cocktails and we weren’t disappointed. Def recommend! I didn’t have the food since I didn’t just want a charcuterie board. I had a curated shot and a regular drink. I enjoyed the shot more than the drink. It smells so good in there! I wish I had asked for the brand of candles. Overall it’s a chill vibe.

Great place for cocktails. It is small. So be aware they may not have sitting. But I've been lucky that their is always someone leaving a couple minutes after I get there. The drinks are very yummy.

My first time at Clarkwood with friends and Jeremiah was fast and knowledgeable. He recommended me a couple drinks and they were all amazing! I will definitely be coming back. Jeremiah made my experience a great one!

I've been wanting to come here for a while and I am so glad I finally did! I decided to stop by during their happy hour to kick off my weekend and as soon as I was seated at the bar, Alex, greated me and gave me several drinks options. He's service was top notch, so good that I ended up staying and enjoying drinks a bit longer than intended! But there's no harm in that when you're in great company! This place is very comfortable but it does get packed but that's to be expected when you're good! Thanks Alex for all those delicious drinks and you'll be seeing me again. Omg where do I start?! The ambiance, drinks, food and staff were BEYOND phenomenal! This was my first visit here and we already set a date to go come back next week. If you’re looking a for a great place with great vibes, ambiance, food and drinks this is for sure the place to be! 10/10 would def recommend!

Clarkwood is my favorite intimate, vibrant bar. The bartenders are top tier - quality ingredients and lovely personalities. Loved Jaime! Super warm and attentive from the bar. Loved my drinks and had a great time as always!
