Really chill spot with good deals on drinks. Definitely has a lot to live up to in the old Benjy’s location, but I think that time will establish it as a go to bar. The vault and games are fun and Wednesday 50% off wine and whiskey can’t be beat in that area. Plus, really great parking that’s free! Bartender was nice, will be back again.

I can’t believe the experience I had at this place. I am an African American female and the manager and whole environment thought it was OK for one drunk customer to call out the N-word several times with no remorse. All they did was have him go outside on the patio. Also after the situation they wanted to charge me for half of my bill. They did not kick the customer out, but yet patronized me, as if I was the outraged problematic customer. I will never go here again, and I suggest if you are a brown skin Person like me you steer clear !

Unassuming. Super chill. Cian can make you a stellar dirty martini. Dog friendly (giant) patio. Chill at the great bar or play shuffle board and other games. Check out the safe room!

Excellent service and extremely cool concept. The bar use to be an old bank. The vault has been turned into part of the bar. Very cool. Original door to the vault is the entrance to that part of the bar. The service there is excellent. The night I was there (Monday) they had a tango club night. It was a different experience to watch they dance. They have a nice outside patio with a couple tables. Outside smoking is allowed in that area. Great experience overall. Would recommend to hangout and get a couple drinks.

The previous establishment was kelvin arms and was happy to see that the new owners kept the bank vault! The have beer from local Texas breweries and a full bar with food. There’s also daily happy hour (all day?) for draft beers for only $5! Then after 7pm, they have an additional happy hour for specific drinks depending on what day of the week it is. As for food, we shared the pepperoni pizza and was great. Like the other reviewers, it's a thin crust/NY style pizza and had the right amount of toppings with the crust holding its weight. They also have complementary popcorn when you walk pass the bar. We weren't able to go upstairs as it was only 4pm but I heard it opens later in the evening for wine maybe? Don't hold me to it. Overall, great experience and would recommend!

The beer I had gotten (temptress nitro milk stout) tasted spoiled and I was treated rudely and rushed to make an order. I do like the scenery of the bar though, but I wish the bank vault was taken better advantage of for seating.

If you live in the West University/Upper Kirby/Rice Village areas then I recommend The Owl. Excellent service. Gorgeous bartenders. Cheap drinks. Very clean environment. Excellent patio. Ample parking and it's free.

Love this bar. Have been coming here since Kirby. Last time I was there, songs weren't playing off the juke box. That was one of my favorite things from the old bar. Don't change!

Ruck Fice. It's a fun little bar, and the bank vault is interesting. Overall, nothing too special, but nothing bad either. Come see privileged rich white kids drink away their parents money for fun!

Went on a Sunday and the place was surprisingly empty. The wine was good and the prices were great. The shuffleboard and jukebox are nice touches. The bartender initially looked at us like we walked into the wrong place but overall was nice.

Enjoyed my time w great drinks 🍷 Nice place, great music 🎶 and very comfortable!
