Well
I
was
on
my
first
trip
to
Houston
and
I
had
to
try
some
Texas
pizza.
I
am
a
pizza
lover
and
I
have
had
it
all
over
the
U.S.
and
even
on
cruise
ships.
Anyway,
this
is
my
opinion.
Frank's
is
on
Travis
Street
in
downtown
Houston.
When
one
walks
in
the
door,
it
looks
like
it
could
be
a
restaurant
in
NYC.
I
was
hopeful
with
this.
In
addition,
they
actually
sell
slices.
This
has
been
pretty
uncommon
outside
the
northeastern
U.S.
I
actually
ordered
a
whole
small
pepperoni,
sausage
and
fresh
mushroom
pizza.
It
is
smelled
and
looked
good.
Unfortunately,
it
was
just
all
right.
The
sauce
lacked
the
right
spices
and
flavor.
The
crust
was
decent
but
not
great.
There
was
more
than
adequate
toppings
though.
Considering
that
this
was
post-pandemic
and
with
economic
inflation,
it
was
reasonably
priced.
As
I
said
above,
I
am
a
pizza
lover
and
connoisseur,
who
prefers
wood-fired
oven
or
coal-fired
oven
pizza(a
NYC
thing
but
also
found
at
a
few
other
places
in
the
Northeast
U.S).
Additionally,
I
have
to
say
that
I
lived
in
New
Haven
Connecticut
for
four
years
and
to
this
day,
stop
in
New
Haven
every
time
I
pass
by,
just
to
get
pizza.
