Best American style pizza in town! The place is classic and located in the middle of downtown, just a block away from Main St and the Houston wall mural, make it a must go. Tomatoes sauce tastes great and the dough is always well made. Prices are affordable. You can get the whole pizza or by slices.

Great service great pizza. What more could you ask for? Came into Frank’s for a quick slice of pie. For exactly what I wanted and had a great experience. We sat right next to the guy taking out the pizzas from the oven. I enjoyed that! Coming back for sure.

Let me start out by saying Frank’s for nearly 8 years has been our favorite late night pizza spot until last week. Franks is a while in the wall pizza spot and I used to go for a slice or two and sometimes a whole pie but last well after not going for a while I noticed the pizza and quality has been compromised. The personnel was never why I went nor is the place super clean or nice but the pizza was the perfect amount of dough, sauce, cheese and ingredients. Last week I ordered my usual and it looked the same but once I bit into it I knew something had changed. I know places are getting skimpy with cheese like it’s going out of style but that’s such a crucial component to a pizza that it should not be allowed. I can appreciate the sauce not being super sweet and the thinly sliced dough but it needs cheese!!! Very disappointed.

Well I was on my first trip to Houston and I had to try some Texas pizza. I am a pizza lover and I have had it all over the U.S. and even on cruise ships. Anyway, this is my opinion. Frank's is on Travis Street in downtown Houston. When one walks in the door, it looks like it could be a restaurant in NYC. I was hopeful with this. In addition, they actually sell slices. This has been pretty uncommon outside the northeastern U.S. I actually ordered a whole small pepperoni, sausage and fresh mushroom pizza. It is smelled and looked good. Unfortunately, it was just all right. The sauce lacked the right spices and flavor. The crust was decent but not great. There was more than adequate toppings though. Considering that this was post-pandemic and with economic inflation, it was reasonably priced. As I said above, I am a pizza lover and connoisseur, who prefers wood-fired oven or coal-fired oven pizza(a NYC thing but also found at a few other places in the Northeast U.S). Additionally, I have to say that I lived in New Haven Connecticut for four years and to this day, stop in New Haven every time I pass by, just to get pizza.

We visited Frank's Pizza last weekend on our visit to Houston from San Antonio. The Pizza and our salad was so delicious! The price is also very reasonable. We actually ordered a whole pizza fresh from the oven As an aside, it is in a perfect location to take photos downtown. It was an awesome visit!

Best pizza spot downtown bar none! Have been coming here since the astros won the World Series back in 2017 and haven’t stopped coming since! You can get pizza by the slice which is cheap or a whole pizza. I paid $3.75 for a slice and then got a drink and that was extra. Food is great and they have a lot to offer on the menu. Will always come to franks for anything I need pizza wise. Almost forgot to mention they’ve got a upstairs area for seating so there’s usually always someplace to sit.

Frank's Pizza will forever be home in my heart! I've been coming to Frank's for over a decade. Every celebration in my family involved coming downtown to explore, appreciate the city, and ALWAYS having a slice of Frank's Pizza. It's funny how this little hole in the wall changes an entire block, everyone exiting the restaurant walks out with the biggest smile on their face, and in a much better mood than when they walked in. I love bringing friends and family visiting Houston to Frank's Pizza, it is a STAPLE in my book. Just take my biased love, and affection for this pizza restaurant, and a gander at the photos I took. The photos speak for themselves. Q U A L I T Y food here. Thank you for making it all the way through my rant. Enjoy!

Yo Frankie, can I get some slice?? Yes you can, open until 3am on weekends, this new york style pizza is just what you're wanting after a baseball game, concert, or a few drinks with friends. The classic cheese slice is the top winner, but the pepperoni and the Supreme are close 2nds. Have a beer or a soda and enjoy the downtown spot. We loved it.

The place is nice and very small. Gets packed very easily during the night! Good food for the price, we ordered an xl cheese pizza and fifteen wings, and they all tasted as expected. It was very delicious and good quality, as if it was from an NYC pizzeria. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you want to have one of the best pizza Downtown Houston has to offer.

Walk into most pizza places in Houston and ask for a slice and they’ll look at you like you’ve got three heads. So, when I heard there was a great pizzeria in downtown Houston that serves New York-style pizza slices, I had to go see for myself. Frank’s Pizza did not disappoint. I focused on their pizza, but they offer w full menu with much, much more. In my opinion, Frank’s is one of the best restaurants in Houston, and certainly serves one of Houston’s best pizzas.

If you're near downtown Houston and craving a slice. Frank's is the place. The crust was thin and crispy, and the pizza is always fresh since it doesn't last long. Also had the salad, which was pretty good for what you might expect from a pizza place.

My husband and I grabbed a slice and a beer before a concert. Pizza was excellent! Exactly as pizza should be. Perfect crust, sauce ratio and a hint of oregano. So happy!

👍👍 This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Houston. I recommend this spot for a birthday, date night, lunch with the girls, etc. Nonetheless I do recommend reservations as the turnaround of tables is not fast pace. Everything I’ve ordered in the past and now is always consistent. Tried their new dish...
