🫤 Beautiful view of Herman park, sit outside or inside. I love the decoration super cool with where the place is. The attention is super cool but a little slow. Not much variety of food, it's more like for a coffee. The strawberry chia pudding was super bad, the strawberries were super old. The lemona... People often mention coffee,

Beautiful view of Herman park, sit outside or inside. I love the decoration super cool with where the place is. The attention is super cool but a little slow. Not much variety of food, it's more like for a coffee. The strawberry chia pudding was super bad, the strawberries were super old. The lemonade was quite refreshing oatmeal cookie ok I would go back to the place just for the view. The place has potential but needs to improve a lot.

This seems to be the only place to eat in Herrman Park right outside the Houston Zoo, and it leaves a lot to be desired. I came in about 40 minutes before closing and it wasn't busy at all. The sandwiches and pastries looked good but I chose the chicken quesadilla. Worst quesadilla I have ever had, a 4 year old could make a better one. Very dry, and barely any cheese inside, just horrible! I was starving after walking, and afraid to order anything else. I went to sit down and every single table in the place was dirty! Mind you it's very small, and there were 5 workers behind the counter looking very bored...wipe down some tables maybe. One star, for the LEMONADE. This place needs to do better for a tourist area.

My 10 yr old son and I love coming to Ginger Kale. He always gets a chai latte and grilled cheese. We drop my husband off at cardiac therapy and then come to Hermann Park and enjoy a treat from here. Anny is an amazing server and so sweet. My son really likes her.

Middle of the park and not too much competition, so you can bet there is a lot of demand for coffee. And this place for sure delivers it. Also a lot of very interesting healthy choices available. Went here 2 times and was really amazed. They try to be quick with everything but the amount of people coming is staggering, not a single person went to clean the tables thou so people clean up themselves before sitting down and if they are a bit friendly then also after themselves.

Great location in Herman Park to walk around. Place has beautiful decor! Was a bit disappointed that the food was not so much bistro like but rather much of the food was pre-made.

Came to ginger kale as a pit stop on our walk through the park, waited in line and ordered and got our order. 2 Americanos, fries and lemonade. The coffee and lemonade were excellent and the fries tasted very good! The only issue with this place and the reason for 4 stars is the long queue time! About 10-15 mins to order, they need more staff or to be slightly quicker. Other than that it’s a great place with good variety and quality.

Stopped here to get coffee and a snack before our train ride! Coffee was only average… not a specialty shop who focused on quality coffee. The strawberry toast was delicious… cute cement seats and a nice place to cool down!

This is a good place to come and relax especially with the Houston heat going on. The food can be a hit or miss but you know what never misses the drinks that lemonade be hitting every single time and if wasn't for Maria showing me the options with each visit. Oh man I would've been missing out on some amazing lemonade especially the frosty kind.

Really cute. Nice Valentine’s Day day date. We were going to go to Wolfgang Pucks restaurant they have in the hospital in the Med Center but I had a panic attack so we ate in the park together 10-20$ per person. Delicious! Worth the price IMO

The honey sea salt latte is delicious and not too sweet. The avocado toast was nice but everything is served in takeaway containers, even when dining in, with plastic cutlery and that made it difficult to eat.

I got the veggie breakfast tacos and Pellegrino. Me and my friend sat inside and we shared a pleasant conversation whilst enjoying healthy food! They have a wide assortment of macaroons as well!

Good was alright. What your expect inside a park. Decent coffee(though to sweet tea) and yes. If you just ask for a glass of water with your order . They still will charge you for that glass

Best avocado toast I've ever had! Wish it wasn't served in a throw away container 🤷🏻‍♀️seems wasteful and made it a tad difficult to eat.

I loved the decor and they have plenty of options. Nevertheless, I ordered a side of fries and they were extremely seasoned with pepper. They should advise customers. Cookies were good. Preferred the choco chip over the White Choco Macademia. Follow us on Instagram @verde_del_hambre for recommendations on travel, restaurants, and lifestyle.

A healthy & delicious brunch cafe! Stop in for breakfast or lunch to refuel and rehydrate with your choice of indoor or outdoor scenic view seating. Their menu is complete with meat and vegetarian options, coffee juice, sweets, and more! The food looks fantastic and is yummy too. The Turkey Club and the Avocado & Egg Toast were delicious! I couldn't resist eating a garnished egg before snapping pics~
