We have never been treated worst than a lady working in the ER named Holli. Every single word out of her mouth was rude and completely out of line. She went out of her way to treat my 82 yr old father who laid in a hallway for over 4 hours, my sister and her fiance, myself and my wife. My sister told us when we got there how rude she was when simple questions were asked so when she walked by and glared at us I simply said Meery Christmas and asked her how her day was to try and break the ice, she immediately turned around and spoke extremely rude to me and said only 2 people are allowed to visit and when I told her the security guard allowed us to enter after we signed in and told us where my dad was located. The dr did not have a problem with us. As I was leaving she did not realize my wife was 40 feet behind me and after yelled out a rude comment like where are you going to be disrespectful. My wife then walked up and said did you really just yell that out. She knew she was busted and just turned around and walked off. She needs to be trained on simple bedside manners. People are dying in that ER and should not have to deal with her basic lack of sensitivity. In case you have more than one Holli, she was short with very short hair and was not a nurse. She should not be allowed to speak with patients or their families.

I am from out of state visiting family and ended up having an accident that resulted in a serious injury. Adam who was the X-ray tech was amazing! The check in staff was great. But other than that I was never checked on. I luckily had my own Tylenol because I was in pain from a shattered ankle and foot! They kept asking me if I had my own crutches and walking boot at home since I had previously broken my ankle 9 years earlier! To then have them set the items outside of my room and have myself and my husband put my own walking boot on. Even though I asked for help just to be looked at like I was stupid. I have never been treated like this before in a hospital; like I was a problem or an inconvenience! And the only reason I gave the 2 stars is because of a couple of great staff members!

Every person I know that has been here or taken their child here has had a horrible experience. When my daughter was a week old we took her to their outpatient lab to get a bilirubin test because the pediatrician thought she was more jaundice than normal for a newborn. She has insurance but for some reason they couldn’t see it, so we payed $83 for the test. The doctor who did it dropped the vial of blood and had to do it again which sucked but that was an accident and I understand those happen. The part that isn’t okay is that we were supposed to get the results within 2 hours, and they never called us or our pediatrician. I called 3 days in a row and sent messages, and the phone went to voicemail every time and we never got the results. It’s been a month. Then when my baby was 2 weeks old she stopped breathing one night, so we rushed to their ER. By the time we got there she was okay but we were still really scared. We had no idea what happened, so we stayed just to try and get some answers from a doctor or someone there. We waited in the waiting room for 3 hours before eventually leaving. If you’re ever in pain and need to go to a hospital or ER, take the extra 10-15 minutes to go to one in the Woodlands. Don’t ever go here.

This was hands down the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a medical facility. Never in my life have I seen my own blood shoot across the room after being poked with a needle but they managed to do it twice here! I encountered one nice nurse and triage person, the rest of the staff was rude, condescending, visibly and very noticeably disrespectful/racist. The entire facility was absolutely filthy and disgusting. The sounds coming from other rooms were utterly horrific as many people seemed to have similar experiences. This entire operation needs to be investigated!

Great superb attending staff, front to back. I had a CTA TAVR protocol done last week (look it up), resolution was sub par for ordering the correct valve size for my procedure. Two independent physicians have confirmed that imaging at this place is 50/50 ... at best. So, great staff, poor equipment. As a side note, after spending two overnight stays here in the last year... the food is AWFUL! Only two choices and whichever you choose, it's cold and flavorless. The spinach was overcooked beyond recognition and one night I had a chicken breast that was smaller than my dinner roll and tougher than shoe leather??? If you want friendly, knowledgable staff... here you go. If you want questionable cardiac test results... here you go. You be the judge...

These people are the most childish, insulting, hateful, and ABUSIVE nurses I've encountered-- even worse than IUCU. They lied to me about my mother being checked in all the while I find out she's being physically and verbally abused by them and refused her belongings. When I find a way to get my hands on human resources I will have every nurses name. You people are going to learn to hire nurses who actually care for the elderly and disabled and not just parasitic vultures who abuse people for easy money.

Recently my wife spent a total of 62 days between two HCA hospitals, HCA CONROE and HCA NORTHWEST MEDICAL CENTER... The vast majority of her time spent was at HCA Conroe... She was admitted for an unknown neurological problem and had nothing but A+ care... Most of her time was spent in 2WEST and 3WEST as well as several days in the ICU... EVERYWHERE she went in the hospital she was treated with professionalism and respect... I can't express my gratitude to the entire staff in strong enough terms... From the various doctors and specialists to the techs running various diagnostics and imaging services to the AMAZING NURSING STAFF, who I could spend a lifetime trying to explain how FANTASTIC they were, to the patient advocates and the food service and even the AWESOME housekeeping staff... I have ended up loving all of these FABULOUS, CARING people like they were my own family... I wish I could name individuals, but I wouldn't want to overlook anyone so I won't... Each and every one that I came to know and love KNOWS who I'm talking about... You are the most loving, MOST AMAZING PEOPLE that I've ever met... THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART... My wife is home on hospice now and the HOSPICE company has carried on the AMAZING job that you all started... Once again THANK YOU.... You're as GOOD as the BEST and BETTER than ALL THE REST

The blonde Charge Nurse (labor and delivery) on the 22nd at night was horrible towards me and my husband, ER sent me to labor and delivery and she was not helpful at all, she kept telling me that I’m not supposed to feel my baby at all even though I’m 30 weeks pregnant and ER sent me over for lack of baby movement. She told me to “Take a deep breathe, calm down and listen to me!” We are planing to report for malpractice since they took tests from me and came back to tell me “tests are clean” but we took a picture of my pee test still on the counter next to me she never took it, she was so negligent, I don’t understand how she is your charge nurse; When you guys are showing your negligence by lying as well. Don’t go to labor and delivery here!

Delivered my baby here! Could not be more satisfied with the care baby and I received here! We were well taken care of and every nurse assigned to us from labor and delivery to postpartum care did an excellent job in providing and helping us with any and everything we needed. Thank you HCA conroe!!

I came in through the Emergency Dept. The staff from ER, to 3rd floor; Doctors, Nurses, Techs, Custodial, food, everyone has been exceptional despite being extremely busy. I greatly appreciate their time and concern. Thank you HCA Conroe

I am an ER doc in Minnesota. A patient recently discharged from this hospital came here on a Sunday morning. Our nurse called for medical records so that we could provide proper care. A recorded message told her to call back during business hours. Also, we tried to get the records through a computer medical-records connection; most hospitals invest in such capabilities. We were not able to get the records that way either.

I was transported from Exceptional in Livingston on 12/19 to conroe for appendices. On arrival the ER was extremely busy for a Tuesday. The staff was great! Threw all the chaos they remained calm and had a smile on their face. After getting assigned a room and getting settled in I met my nurses. The charge nurse was very sweet and you could tell she had a rough day, but she still did her job with a smile and with care. My Dr was amazing and I had surgery the next morning. To my Dr, Dr Denby sorry if mis spelled thank you so much for keeping my husband informed and a great experience with having a great surgeon and for caring so much. All the nurses who cared for me you are amazing and I appreciate you, keep up the great work. Highly recommend this hospital 5 stars for sure. Have a very merry Christmas and God Bless.

My mother was life flighted to this hospital because she had severly broken and dislocated her ankle. When I finally arrived at the ER(a 2 hour drive for me), the doctor didn't speak to me except to tell me and my 5 year old to sit in the corner. I had to dig information out of her about my mom's condition. She had to reset my mom's ankle several times because each time she did it and took the x-rays to the orthopedic surgeon, he said it was not good enough. Then the surgeon said it was too swollen and he couldnt preform the necessary surgery until after the swelling went down. After 7 days of her sitting in the hospital, she was sent home, without surgery, and told by the orthopedic surgeon that he would not do the surgery. I am highly disappointed and discussed with the doctors and some of the staff in this hospital. The nurses that took care of her during her stay were very kind and helpful and that I do appreciate. I do not plan to ever let my family or myself be brought to this hospital again.

Went to ER on 06/25/2023 at 2pm. The staff was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I had blood sent to lab and x-rays completed within 30 min of checking in to the ER. The Paramedic, Tracy, placed an IV easily (one try!) and I was given antibiotics within 45 min of check in. This was a very good experience!

I have no complaints, I was attended to immediately, my situation was assessed by the doctor, a test and blood work done. Once results were known the doctor went over them with me and advised how I should follow up. I feel being brought into the ER and released in 2 1/2 to 3 hours was excellent.

On June 15, 2023, I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The medics were awesome and caring and took wonderful care of me. Once I got to the hospital, the efficiency of everyone there was caring and kind. The ER doctor, Dr. Martin, was exceptional and was very concerned because I had hit my head and my eye was sealed shut from the fall when I hit the corner of the couch. I was a mess. Dr. Martin had them take x-rays and 2 CT's of my head. He was concerned and every time he passed me by in the hall, he always checked my pulse to be sure I was fine. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with Dr. Martin and the nurse attending to me. Made me feel important and were very kind. Dr. Martin wanted to give me an MRI, but I would have had to stay overnight but I had animals at home to take care of. All in all, everyone was wonderful and kind. Even the security guard shared a story with me about when he fell and hit his head. Nice gentleman. There was no room available, so I was in the hallway, but I didn't mind. I am a friendly person and got to spend time with some of the hospital staff and patients. Thank you for being so concerned and caring. God bless. Keep up the good work.

Now I know why other hospitals get better ratings. The waiting area has the hardest chairs I've ever sat on in hospitals! There ISN'T any coffee other than the cafeteria. My doctors office has coffee but not a hospital surgery waiting area?

My 7 month old son had Covid but we didn’t know a fever, runny nose and a bulging soft spot were symptoms of it. They gave my son 4 mL of Motrin and 4mL of Tylenol. These are incorrect doses to give a 17lb baby. He threw up the Motrin immediately because 1.875 mL is the proper dosage. The Tylenol made him return to normal and his temp went down. The staff was sort of great, they tried their best but didn’t test him for Covid, instead gave him a ct scan and swabbed his nose twice. Took way too long to get a rectal temp three times. Attempted to take his blood and wanted to sedate him for lumbar puncture. Blew a vein. Tested negative for RSV and Flu. We went to tx children’s soon after at 3am (we pulled an all nighter) because we knew he was sick, not with meningitis. They tested him for Covid there and he was positive. At least he could sleep there. HCA, do better. It was just a Covid test he needed, and y’all didn’t even do that.

The absolute worst. I had a scheduled surgery at the hopital that had been scheduled 3 week prior. I have the best coverage Blue Cross and Blue Shield offers. Roughly18 hours before the surgery I was called and told by HCA that I need to pay them $7,000 up front before the surgery. My deductible with my insurance is only $2,000

Despite not being able to have the natural delivery I wanted, the labor and delivery department made my scheduled c-section way less scary than I had initially thought it would be. All of the doctors and nurses were extremely kind, helpful, and supportive. I have never felt more taken care of and the experience I had here was phenomenal. I can't really speak much for the rest of the hospital, but the labor and delivery department is amazing and full of people who actually care about their patients. Next baby, I'll be sure to deliver here again!

All administrative staff where very nice. Doctors and Nurses where very professional and attentive to all my needs. All questions and concerns were answered clearly. They kept my husband update through my procedure. They even called me a few days after my surgery to see how I was doing. Overall a great experience under the circumstances.

I was sent to an ER by my doctor. We stopped at HCA due to it's closeness and previous experience. The waiting room was a little crowded but after registering and waiting I got called for my blood work, the about an hour later had my CT scan. An ER doctor came out and said I did have appendicitis and would have surgery soon. Later my surgeon, Dr. Dendee came out to confirm he would doing the surgery and would get me prepped soon. We arrived about noon and I went into surgery about 6:00 pm. Luckily my appendix didn't erupt but was leaking. Overall I was pleased. Just wish after verifying appendicitis things might have been a little more expedited.

Friendly staff! Room was not clean when I was sent to the back to be seen (sheets had stains from previous patient). I was examined and had my ultrasound done while the door was open to the hallway (no privacy). In my opinion, the provider did not give clear instructions and explain diagnosis.

This place sucks. My fiancé and our children came here about a week ago. We were there from 11pm and 5:30am. My fiancé was having abdominal pain and throwing up pretty badly among other things. When we got there, we only waited about an hour before he was initially seen. There were only a few people in the waiting room. Eventually they gave him a room. It was a little dirty. The staff there were pretty nice. But the doctor who “treated” him was very rude. It seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. She was literally shouting at him in front of me and our children all because he forgot to mention that his throat was hurting. I mean she really took the time to stand there and scold him for a few minutes AND found the nurse that he initially spoke to in hopes of getting her to do the same thing. My man was very sick, and I was afraid for him. It was a long night, I can’t even discuss everything they put him through. If we ever have to go to an emergency room again (heaven forbid) we’ll just go to the woodlands.

This hospital has come a long way. i was in a motorcycle accident and was brought to this HCA location. The team i had taking care of me was amazing. I used to be so scared of going to this hospital back when it was conroe regional but this stay i had made me have a change of heart. Even the house keeping crew were friendly and very caring. The amazing doctors, nurses, tech nurses, occupational therapy and physical therapy nurses everyone of them had amazing bedside manner. I no longer fear go into this hospital and I can’t think this team enough for my amazing recovery. good job team. I even had a nurse that wasn’t even my nurse that came daily to give me a joke. Thanks you HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe
