We went for Valentines’s Day 2022. The experience was amazing and as Fleming always do the food and service was exceptional! Sam is the waiter you want when you dine out. The food melted on my lips. That Fleming salad is to rave about. My husband loves salads and advised that this was the best he’d ever had. So much so he ordered one to go. We will definitely be back to dine again and highly recommend this Fleming Steakhouse location on W. Alabama in Houston. They never disappoint!

Susie was incredible! She was my server tonight for my birthday dinner and she made me feel so special on my day. I will definitely be back and will be hopefully sat in her section. 10/10 food, service, ambiance. It was Tomahawk Tuesday and I had one of the best steaks of my life!

Wife and I went for our anniversary. First time visiting. Decided to go and try their Tuesday special. Everything was phenomenal. Our server Kuiyia was excellent in providing us with service throughout the evening and with making our visit so memorable. From providing assistance with ordering to constantly taking care of us until we left, we already decided we are planning to return. Thank you Kuiyia again for a wonderful dinner!

We came to try their Tomahawk Tuesday and it was really good. For the salad, we both had the wedge, it was fantastic, the blue cheese was not overly strong but for me, there was a little too much dressing. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and so tender. For the sides, we opted for asparagus and lobster Mac and cheese for the additional upcharge. I also ordered a side of brussel sprouts which I was not fond of, quite crispy and dry. We decided on the chocolate lava cake to share and took the chocolate gooey butter cake home. So glad we did cause we definitely would not have been able to finish both. Overall a great dinner.

Great experience! One of (well the ABSOLUTE BEST) steaks my wife and I have ever eaten.we went here for our anniversary and boy we’re glad we chose this place. We didn’t need (Nor did we request) any steak sauce at all. I ordered the main filet mignon - medium well, w/ chipotle Mac, with lemonade. My wife had the Oh so tasty Prime Bone-in Rib-eye;Medium well, the Fleming’s potatoes, and a nice glass of Ruffino moscato (White Wine). I enjoyed my steak, but my wife’s steak made me fall in love with steak although I’m not big on steak at all. The prime bone in steak had a nice balance of fat and meat to it. It was so moist, flavorful, and not too chewy or too tough. I’ll most definitely order that the next time we go back and visit this fine establishment. They went above and beyond to make our experience one to remember. They even volunteered to take us photos on our phone for the special occasion. Our server Chaz was awesome as well. He made us feel like he cared for us as people and not just as customers. It’s understandably pricy but you most definitely get what you pay for without a doubt.

We dined here for our 18th anniversary. Everything was excellently prepared and presented. The bone in Ribeye was like butter! Our server was most pleasant and attentive.

We went during the week for a nice romantic and quiet bday dinner. There were plenty of open tables however they decide to sit a large party of 8 right next to us when all but 4 tables were in use. Their server kept bumping into me when serving them …. The food was excellent though, we had the tomahawk steak and the pork chops ! The tomahawk was cooked to perfection and had a nice crust on it. The pork chops were moist and flavorful. Check out their Mac and Cheese with Lobster…. 😋 We were too busy eating to take more pictures.

Everything was perfect. We came extra early at opening time and was not disappointed. You have to ask for the happy hour menu. We also got the two for Tuesday special, I got the Caesar salad which had fresh dressing with capers and prosciutto. Our main selection was The New York Strip and Filet mignon. Mmmm... That was everything I needed. We Added lobster to the Mac and cheese, turned out perfectly to taste the seafood in it. I loved the touches of hot peppered plates. I really enjoyed myself and the atmosphere was great. Servers were attentive.

Overall the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I work in the medical field and rarely have time to spend with my family so the little time I do have I cherish. My mother drove nearly 3 hours into town to have dinner for my birthday only to me met with an incredibly poor dining experience. It took us nearly 20 minutes to even get drinks in the hottest summer across the globe. The AC was out so we were both just sitting there sweating. And after all this it took over an hour for a food to come out only to have it served under room temperature which meant the food had been sitting back there for some time. Shameful experience. I was embarrassed for my mother. I was sad for my mother. I have never felt the amount of disregard and respect in my life. I’ve had better experiences in a fast food diner. I'm a close friend of the Houston Hotel Association board members and they will be notified to remove this establishment from their hotel recommended dining experiences immediately.

Food was a bit tasteless for my our palettes. However, the service was great. Cannot recommend.

By far the best steak I’ve ever eaten! The waiter was attentive and courteous. However, they really must do something about the broken AC in what seems like the hottest summer ever.

The restaurant itself is nice, dimly lit with music playing. The patio area doesn’t have much of a view but it’s there 👍🏾 The food was an Easy 2/10. We ordered the Tomohawk steak w/shrimp and crab toppers, Flemings potatoes and Onion Rings. GREAT PRESENTATION, however the steak lacked flavor/seasoning, the potatoes are simply dry scalloped potatoes that also lack seasoning. The shrimp were the best thing they had going , the crab topper tasted like lump crab purchased from your local HEB or Kroger (not fresh). Lemon drop was not as strong compared to other “five star restaurants” Overall, wasn’t satisfied but didn’t raise a big fuss

Ambience was nice. Atmosphere was calming and intimate. The staff was polite and helpful. Our waitress name was Kuiyia and she was the best waitress ever!! She was knowledgeable, helpful, very polite and had the most joyous spirit. Thank you so much for taking care of us Kuiyia. I will definitely visit again and I will request you! And the food was soooo 😋

I made a reservation through OpenTable for 7 PM on a Monday night, however, the reservation was not needed because the restaurant was VERY empty. I’ve personally enjoyed the quietness for a work event. Our waitresses were Brittany and Emily. They were both fantastic. Food was delicious. We had the tomahawk steak, wedge, salad, shrimp, cocktail, and lobster mac & cheese I would recommend everything… 10 out of 10.

One of the best dinners I’ve had in awhile. Better service than STEAK 48! My server / bartender Zack took amazing care of us! Expanded my wine pallet with a recommended glass of Post & Beam that paired perfectly with a Tomahawk. Grateful for this dinning experience and can’t wait to return!!!

Ahhhh, Fleming's! This restaurant was really nice. From the staff to the decor and the food... everything was so pleasant!

We celebrated our anniversary and NYE at Fleming’s River Oaks location. Overall the food and service was excellent. Our server Michael explained all four courses and it’s ingredients in their set menu precisely and it was one the most memorable private dining experience we have had in a while. I would highly recommend them for any special occasion.

Second year ordering thanksgiving catering from here because their turkey is that good!!! However the second time around our order had a lot of mistakes. Missing side dish, smaller portions, missing dessert with the entrees, no rolls or utensils. This is a lot of stuff to be missing from an order. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again. I will say also green beans are too raw and lacking in flavor. Turkey and cranberry sauce are my favorite and mashed potatoes. Cheesecake is phenomenal! But it didn’t come with any of the toppings this time? I ordered a full size too. Haha!🙂

Amazing service , amazing food ! Last min reservation for my birthday Dec 4th ! Only had one issue but this was resolved expeditiously ! Major shout out to our waitress Amelia !

Nice atmosphere. Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The appetizers were ok. We ordered crab cakes, pork belly, lobster bisque, and calamari. For the main course, a ribeye, macaroni and cheese, and brussel sprouts. The steak was very well seasoned but none of the sides were. Just a bit underwhelmed for the expectation. They did deliver a complimentary box of birthday truffles.

The Dinner was delicious served hot and fast, From the front entrance to the table the staff was excellent our waiter Michael S, was the best.

One of the top steakhouses in Houston. Their chili butter is not spicy and is packed with flavor. One of the best performing steak houses I have ever visited. Anything you get on the menu will blow your mind. For those seeking an affordable, well-balanced red wine to complement their steak, I recommend "Conundrum". Also, if a mistake ever does occur here, they will fix it immediately. Their managers are on top of everything. Genuinely a top-of-the-line experience. Great for anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, or any other kind of celebration.
