    The employees at The Bar Method are extremely kind and the studio is small but cute and clean! They all know you by name which makes you feel welcomed! The workouts are challenging but each teacher gives you hands on/verbal assistance during the class to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and safely! A huge plus for me is that I have never felt like, "I didn't really like that instructor's method of teaching or their exercise routine." I can go to any class at any time because all of the instructors are consistent and know their stuff! I've had a great experience at The Bar Method!

    Amazing, targeted full body workout with a couple shakes of cardio...class offerings with different themes (strength, yoga flow, cardio)...something for everyone of all shape, size, ability. Incredible and very well trained instructors...rigorous and very safe workout in an inclusive and welcoming community!

    Update: With 5+ years being a member and 1,550 classes taken, I continue to find the workouts challenging and the community inspiring. The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging and there are different formats of classes focusing on cardio or strength, among others, to suit your needs and preferences. The best part is seriously the community here. I’m thankful we have this gem of a workout studio! Fabulous instructors and studio in every way! Every instructor has been warm and caring and their expertise is invaluable in keeping the workout challenging, fun, and safe. I’m so grateful my friend has introduced me to the Bar Method Houston Montrose!

    This has quickly become my happy place in Houston :) I’m addicted! grateful for the effective, safe workouts and amazing instructors, especially as I’m recovering from an ankle injury. I’ve recovered really well and can attribute a good part of that to coming to BM. Also, everyone is so welcoming! Update: still enjoying BM and loving the workout and community.

    The Bar Method is my favorite barre studio in Houston. I originally found the studio through class pass, where I had the opportunity to try every barre studio that had partnered with class pass in the area. I chose to pursue a membership with The Bar Method because I always leave every class feeling stronger and calmer. The owners and staff are all so kind, and really take the time to get to know each client and their needs. I’ve been taking classes here for 9 months now and still love it just as much (if not more) than when I first started. And I truly see and feel a difference! I couldn’t recommend this studio and location enough!

    I just realized I have exceeded 500 workouts in the Montrose studio. Yet, each class is still as challenging and interesting as in my first few months. The program is designed to make every muscle in your body work, and the playlists keep you engaged. Teachers are knowledgeable and provide great guidance with gentle hands on corrections throughout the class It is a welcoming environment where you feel part of a community and build friendships. I couldn't be happier to be a part of the Bar Method Montrose family!

    Bar Method Montrose is a great place to get a rigorous workout and become part of a diverse, welcoming community. The traditional Bar Method classes are a great place to start with varying exercises carefully chosen to strengthen and tone muscle groups from top to toes. But, don’t miss the other formats: Bar Strength, Flow, Cardio, and Restore, a 30 minute abbreviated Method class with 30 minutes of delicious stretching to wrap it up. Hope to see you soon!

    The Bar Method is my favorite barre studio in Houston, hands down. The owners, Claudia & Kendall are thoughtful, kind, encouraging, and go above and beyond to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. As a yoga/fitness instructor, I appreciate their attention to detail and helpful feedback during class. They care about form and helping to ensure you are getting a safe and effective workout. They also get to know every member and work hard to learn each client's name and welcome each individual into the community. I highly recommend this studio!

    I’m nearing 600 classes and I’m still just as excited to walk into the studio now as I was for my first class. The targeted workouts have not only been great for my body, but for my mind. Whenever I walk into class, I know that I have 45-60 minutes of dedicated time just for me. It also gives me a chance to escape, which is meditative and therapeutic. The instructors at the Montrose studio, many of whom are now friends, are amazing, fun and so encouraging. I now go to class ~four days a week and it truly is my happy place. Definitely check out the studio and take a class, you won’t regret it.

    It's truly the best place ever. The Bar Method has become an essential part of my routine. I'm willing to work hard to fit it into my schedule, and my favorite weeks are when I can attend multiple classes. The instructors are amazing, providing excellent guidance and support throughout the sessions. What makes this place truly special is the incredible community of instructors and fellow attendees. It's not just a workout studio; it's a hub of positivity and support. I always leave the Bar Method feeling better than when I walked in.     I started coming to The Bar Method when I first moved to Houston 4 years ago. Though I originally came through ClassPass, I quickly found myself wanting to come back more than 3 times/month and became a Club Bar member. The instructors are friendly, welcoming, and make sure you get a great and safe workout. As a former athletic trainer, I appreciate the attention to form and avoiding injury, and as someone who never found the right workout, I'm happy to have found my workout home at Bar Method Houston-Montrose. I cannot recommend the place enough!

    First time here and I will be returning. Very clean studio, friendly and awesome staff. Instructor Claudia was very good and thorough. She explained everything well and provided some hands-on corrections when needed.

    The Bar Method was one of the first fitness studios I visited after moving to Houston. They were (and continue to be) extremely welcoming and supportive. They have a close-knit and friendly community and excellent instructors. I mostly take classes via ClassPass but also grab their package deals whenever possible. Try it out and expect a challenging yet motivating workout!

    The classes are great, I personally struggle with doing Too Much when I work out and these classes are perfect 👌. You can adjust the difficulty as you need and all the instructors want you to succeed. Join! Have fun!♡♡♡

    I’ve tried many other gyms, exercise classes and barre studios in Houston and have found, for me, that The Bar Method is by far the most effective workout. I have been attending classes at to the Montrose location for almost 2 years and have never looked back. The classes are not only engaging and challenging, but the instructors make them fun! Their hands on approach to instruction ensures you have the correct form and are getting the maximum benefit out of your workout. For people with injuries or physical limitations, these classes are a great workout because they are low impact, include a lot of stretching and the instructors are very helpful with modifications. I cant stress enough how much i love The Bar Method and the community it has created. The instructors and other members are so friendly and welcoming. I can be having the worst day and take a class and walk out feeling much stronger (mentally and physically). I encourage anyone to sign up for a class and see for themselves!

    Outstanding workout! Challenging and incredibly effective but safe. Each and every instructor is incredibly well trained and correct your go immediately so that you do not injure yourself and get the most out of each move. Been taking this for 4 years nearly every day and never had an injury. The studio had a wonderful supportive community. Worth the cost!!!

    My journey with the Bar Method started with a random Groupon purchase earlier this year. (I am so glad I did!!) After my first class with Rachel, I was immediately convinced that this is going to be part of my life for as long as there is a Bar Method studio nearby. 100 classes later, I find myself stronger, healthier and happier. I have gained flexibility, muscle strength, and look more toned than ever. (LOVE IT!!😆) The studio is very clean and welcoming. Everyone I encounter has always been friendly and genuinely happy to greet and assist you. My favorite part about the workout is that I feel challenged in every class (both mind and body). The instructors pay very close attention and will give hands-on and verbal adjustments which help the work focus on the intended area and prevent injury. Not only have I gained strength and toned muscle, I have become more aware the different muscle groups and how I can work and stretch them at home. I have been taking mostly Claudia and Jennifer's classes due to schedule. Very special thanks to both lovely instructors for being super awesome & motivating, and keeping me coming back day after day. 💛 💪🏼

    I heart Bar Method! I've taken classes at four different Bar Method studios and I love how consistent it is: when I walk into class, I know I'll be getting excellent instructors teaching proper form to strengthen and prevent injury. It's important to me to have a workout that focuses on strength, mind-body connection, and safety rather than weight loss or aesthetic results. I'm thankful I found a workout studio that celebrates our bodies as they are and as they can be: stronger and more powerful. The Houston BM studio especially is such a warm and welcoming community. Bar class is a highlight of my day!

    Bar method is a great workout and the owners make you feel so welcomed. I love what it does to your mental and physical health. If you worry it’s not enough cardio, you need to try a move class!
