This Joint Rocks! Located on Montrose Blvd, Burger Joint is the perfect spot for hungry visitors after exploring downtown attractions such as its parks and museums. Upon arriving, I was lucky to find an available parking spot but spaces are very limited. I ordered a single patty Mushroom Burger ($9.79) along with Onion Rings ($4.49) and some Hand-Cut Fries ($2.99). Finally, to wash everything down, I ordered a Cookies n' Cream Shake ($5.99). Joint offers a family friendly ambiance with outdoor bench seating which allowed us to enjoy the pleasant weather. To my surprise, food arrived pretty quickly. My burger patty was juicy with a charbroiled flavor and cooked to perfection. The melted gouda cheese played beautifully with the caramelized onions and mushrooms. Sizewise, I found the burger quite satisfying but those with a bigger appetite might want to consider ordering double patties instead. Onion Rings were very crispy and right on point. The Cookies n' Cream Shake delivered on all levels and was the perfect partner for my burger. The Hand Cut Fries on the other hand, were more soggy than crispy, similar in style to the ones served by Five Guys which is a disappointment in my opinion. Regardless of this, Joint's reasonable prices and gourmet offerings are absolutely delicious and should satisfy most of your cravings.

We came on an extremely busy Saturday night, so the wait ended being an hour to order and get our food. But the food and shakes were phenomenal. We got the vanilla and cookies and cream shakes and they were everything you wanted them to be! We got several burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Our stand out favorite were the onion rings. Those bad boys were top notch delicious. All the burgers were made well and were super good. This place is a must come back for sure!

This restaurant is a treat. Seen it while stuck I'm traffic and decided to drop in for some lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by their expensive menu and great service. I ordered a trite and true Cheese Burger with a basket of fries, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The meat was well seasoned and flavorful, veggies were crisp and the fries were fresh and hot! I'm looking forward to my next visit here and I would definitely recommend!

Great little spot! Awesome atmosphere and seating area. Service was friendly and quick. I love the fact that there’s vegetarian options. Got the BBQ burger, a chili dog, and the veggie dog. Everything was great, large serving sizes and homemade fries were so good. Also got a strawberry shake and it was delicious!

The burger joint has not disappointed me and I have been here twice. The parking lot is a little tedious as it has a small entrance but it is doable just go a little slower to not miss it! They have big tvs and heaters available. The burgers are sooo good as well as their milkshake and fries. I do not recall the name of the white condiment I got but it's so good with the fries. Thank you, The Burger Joint!

Tried this place for the first time for lunch today. The BBQ burger was good and the classic fries were great. My only complaint is this place has no a/c! Open air setting with fans running. Being in Houston all these years I never thought I would find a place with no a/c……come to think of it, I think the very small area where you place the order had a/c but 99% of the dining room is just open to the scorching Houston humidity and heat…..and the birds were flying in all over the dining room area. Definitely won’t be coming again during the warm months. So basically I have a 2 month window to visit this place! Just hilarious.

I placed an order and went to pick it up. This was my first time visiting, so I didn’t know where the curbside location was. I was able to walk around back and pick up my food. If you’re looking for the curbside line, it is behind the building. You simply pull up and your food is delivered and you pay from your car. As far as the food goes, it was good. I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the Mexi burger. The patty was really fresh and juicy. You can tell the meat is good quality beef. I enjoyed the burger, as it had a little kick to it. I am one of the few people that prefers my fries to be soft opposed to crispy, and they were exactly how I like them. I don’t know if this is how they are always prepared or if this was just this day, but they were good. This restaurant is located on a busy street and has limited parking. I would visit again but likely would not go when I think it will be busy.

Food was delicious! I had the mushroom burger. It was huge and full of toppings. Bun was warm and soft. I could only eat about 1/3 of it and saved the rest for later. Massive amount of sweet potato fries too. My food was fresh and hot and came out fast. Service was outstanding. You know your food was good when you think about it the next day 😂

It's good burgers and the staff there is very nice. Mostly outside seating, so try to go when it's not too hot. I got the BBQ burger. Very big, but good. Fries are good too. My kids liked the Mac n cheese and chicken tenders.

Great burger and great atmosphere! Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but you could still find a seat. The burger options are plenty for any taste with including burgers for the vegetarian/vegan friends. Overall quality is good if you're looking for a decent burger joint and enough space to hang out with people. Fries are salted well and the queso fries have plenty of cheese. Parking is rough.

First time trying The Burger Joint and these have been the best burgers I’ve tried! I went for the Mexi and it was absolutely delicious! I recommend this place so much to all burger lovers! The Burger Joint also has vegetarian friendly burgers & sandwiches. Another great thing is they are open up to midnight and past midnight on the weekends! I’ll definitely be back soon!

If you are looking for a fantastic burger in Houston, look no further than The Burger Joint. Thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ burger and the outdoor patio, despite visiting on a rainy Saturday! Will be back to visit again!

Wonderful location. There is a small parking next to the local, but sometimes it gets full. The ambiance is casual with wood benches and some high tables. The venue is outside with TVs to watch the games. To drink, they sell beers, shakes and sodas. The burguers are delicious with the beef doneness as customer preference. I really enjoyed the mushroom burguer, the meat was cooked perfectly. They also have vegetarian burgers and salad bowls. In my opinion this is a perfect spot to hanging out with friends and enjoying a quality burger.

Delicious food and excellent service. My girlfriend and I loved it. They’re all super friendly. Dogs are also allowed, so that was awesome. Parking’s a little tight, but there’s plenty of seating, so get there early.

So we went to the Burger Joint on Montrose for dinner last night, and it was fantastic. We ordered a Kimchi Burger, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and the weekly special smash burger but with 4 patties and extra cheese. As a side, we ordered their cheese fries, and for drinks, we had a salted caramel milkshake and some cool Crush City IPA's. The burguers were spectacular, and both the Kimchi and smash burgers were super jucy and flavourful. The Kimchi Burger was superbly done, and the balance of flavors was phenomenal. The Nashville hot chicken was well made and super crispy, but it lacked a bit of spice. But the smash burger was the bomb super juicy and gooey. As for the rest, their chesse fries are always crispy and super flavourful. And their milkshakes are just awesome and well worth the calories. Their salted caramel shake is just fantastic. As for the Crush City Ipa's, well, in my opinion, it's one of Texas finest. Overall, it was an amazing meal at a great location with a great staff.

Very nice and delicious burger. They have a separate Halal menu so tell them before you order. The fries and shake were also great and made for a nice meal. Good amount of seating and perfect for a nice day to eat outside. They also have tvs playing the game in the background.

I went to the Burger Joint for lunch today. It was my first time going there other people have recommended it . I walk up and the lady was kinda rude towards me she wasn’t polite . I asked for Not your Fathers Root Beer Float - which contains alcohol and she didn’t even card me . She just handed it to me . I could have been a 17 and she still would’ve handed it to me . The queso fries were alright but the burger was phenomenal. I will definitely be going back. But the lady was rude .

Delicious food, fast service and fun place. Food came out fast, great variety of food and drinks. Parking stinks but it's expected for Montrose. For a Saturday around lunchtime we got a table and our food came right away. Very impressed, will be back!

It was near 100° but it was still pleasant eating in the mostly covered and very well ventilated outdoor dining area. The burgers were excellent, and the fries were good. They could use a little more parking. You order from the counter and they very quickly bring your food order out to your table. They have a wide selection of beverages both alcoholic and otherwise.

The Burger Joint has the best burgers in Houston! As a burger aficionado, I can say I have tried many burgers in Houston and I have not found one that compares. Since eating here I have become very picky about my burger. The meat is cooked the way you want and dressed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions. I ordered my burger with cheddar and it made it so much better than with American cheese. I also ordered a St. Arnold's root beer float, which made it more tolerable on the patio in 100 degree weather. And yes, it was worth it! Love this place!

Burger joints in the city can be found everywhere, exceptional ones are harder to find. We came on a rainy monsoony day and that did not keep patrons away. Many were willing to be drenched for a dang good burger. They are made fresh to order and are out in a jiffy. Everything thing we ate hit the spot. I only wish I chewed slower to savor each bite.

The ambiance was okay, the server were very attentive. I did ask for medium and got a well done burger so not sure why they are asking how I would like it. Got the lamb burger which was different not as flavorful as I wanted but it was okay. If you like hot dogs their footlong was decently good with pull pork on top and that other stuff.
