This time my girl brought me on a date and I just so happened to really like Greek Food. Of course I had to try the Gyro. Also how to properly pronouce it, is. "Your-O" not "guy-row". It's good, but I still prefer great wraps version over it. Oh and you get a choice of fries, rice, or something else on the side. Honestly I can't remember. But they give you a truck load of rice. I couldn't finish it all .. wow. It's not your typical restaurant where you wait to be seated, you know that type. You walk in, wait in line for the counter, look at the menu before fully getting to the register, then you order and pick out your table and wait for your order to be up. I'll definitely be back one day.

20+ years ago this was my go to place for delicious Greek food. I made a special trip into town on my recent trip to Houston. I was shocked to see how much the menu has expanded. I ordered the gyros which seemed smaller than I remember and very salty. The expanded resturant with the tvs looks great. Staff were fast and friendly. Glad to see the business is doing well.

This place was amazing. The coffee tasted so good and fresh and it was refillable. We ordered chicken gyro and Philly cheesesteak and both were delicious. Loved this place

Casual restaurant with nice people. Food was ok....meats overdone so a bit crunchy, Pita seemed a bit overheated so tough to chew. Salad was fresh and had a thin block of feta which was good. Potatoes were huge and enjoyed the touch of lemon. Grape leaf wrapped rice were terrible. Rice was hard, barely any moisture. Didn't have any but the desserts looked amazing.

Checked this old school place out and it was well worth it! Indulged in the Hercules platter and by the time I was finished eating on it, it still looked like a normal full plate lol. Recommend!

Summary notes: The Gyros were amazing, the fries had no seasonings, the HI-C was very watered down, and it was a lot of money for a subpar dining experience. I was kind of disappointed overall- There were a few things things that I liked but the food was overpriced for what we got ($3 fries is a lot if you're not going to season them). Per request of my partner which used to frequent Niko Niko's years ago- "They were under-seasoned and undercooked in comparison to how it used to be and it's so disappointing to me." I appreciated the inside of the building, it had dividers between booths and a lot of beautiful imagery. They also were highly responsible regarding Covid- all workers wore masks and the dividers between the booths really show that they care and I, personally, appreciate that. I really wish the majority of the items we got were better or perhaps better priced but the combination of all the negatives really put a bad look of the restaurant for me.

I took my grandson to Niko Niko's on Montrose today and we enjoyed ourselves and the food! He had the kids pitzza and I had the veggie wrap with grilled chicken with a side of half fries/Greek potatoes. Since it's his 8th birthday, he also enjoyed a yummy scoop of Birthday Cake Ice cream. My food was really good although I would have liked for my potatoes to be hotter but they were fresh cut and ya can't beat that!! The desserts looked amazing and I swear we will be back just for that! Thanks for the great meal!

First time at niko nikos! Love the food everything tasted good and was amazing. The desserts were creamy and moist! I got the gyro with fries and feta on top. Along with the village salad. The portion was big couldn’t finish it all 10/10 would recommend.

I have been eating here for 30+ years. This is the most consistent place I have ever been. The quality is always there. When choosing a side, get the potatoes.

I was a little nervous about this when my wife suggested it, but I was dead wrong. The gyros here were absolutely fantastic. The meat was tender and really well seasoned, the pita was soft and fluffy, and the veggies and sauce were exactly the fresh note that they needed. The fries were also surprisingly good and the portions were generous, which really helped me swallow the price. Definitely worth checking out.

Best Greek food I know of. Delicious Chicken Avgolemono! Lemon potatoes are perfect. Chicken and gyro meats are tender and succulent. Most delicious pitas (thin, and buttery, not thick and dry). Good parking, and Outdoor dining as well as indoor. It's consistently great. A+

Delicious! Gyros were great! Feta fries are amazing! Let's not forget about all the desserts!!! Wanted to try them all, but went with the Chocolate cover baklava that was absolutely phenomenal!! Took home brownie so good! Will definitely be coming back next time we are in Houston

This is an iconic and one of the older restaurants in Houston. I assure you that it does not disappoint. Over the weekend, expect to step into a bustling, full of energy place. Yet one can get a sense of privacy if you get the bigger tables. The restaurant has both inside and outside seating options. The food is delicious and the quantity is huge! The fried fish was perfectly cooked and the Greek coffee strong and tasty. Must recommend the Greek wines on offer as well as the gyros! Another great place to take friends and family!

We always order soup and salad here, and the quality of the food is always TOP. Lentil soup is sooooo good, and the falafel salad is a great compliment. My friend always orders the chicken soup and it looks like what your mom would make. Love Niko Nikos!

Niko Niko’s is always a stop when we come to visit Houston. The staff is always very friendly and the food is incredible! I highly recommend trying the breakfast gyro if you get there before 1pm.

Great sandwiches, for a while I was going there every week to get Chicken Kebob sandwich which comes on a pita bread, with grilled bell peppers and onions. Absolutely delicious!! My son got Gyro last time and liked it. For $4, they give ton of french fries, enough for an army. It really gets busy at lunch time so plan accordingly.

I ordered the gryo sandwich with fries. Sandwich was good but had a little too much tzatsiki sauce. Lots of fries but would have liked them a liitle crisper. My husband had the Greek lasagna, and it comes with a side salad. He said they were good.

This is my favorite place to grab fresh gyro sandwiche in Houston! Outside ambiance is perfect in the cooler months, so it's nice to sit outside on the front patio and eat in the fresh air. 👌😉👍

We stopped at the Montrose location today around 3:30pm and placed a to go order which included 4 felafels. Probably a whopping $4.50 for them so not expensive at all. Once we got to the hospital to visit our daughter with the food in hand, we discovered the felafels were missing. A phone call to Niko Niko’s resulted in the kind of customer service so rare these days. They offered to DELIVER the felafels and said they would include a free dessert. About a half hour later, my husband met the delivery person at the entrance to Women’s Hospital. When we opened the containers we found not 4 but 6 felafels and not one free dessert but an entire box full of assorted desserts. We were already loyal customers because the food is always absolutely perfect and so delicious but this is just over the top. Thank you so much Niko Niko’s!!! 10 stars!!

It's a little pricey given the chaos to get your food. For as busy as this place is, they should have a better system in place to receive your food so that there are not so many people up walking around at one time. If you have anxiety issues like I do, this is not the place for you. If you're a mingler, then this is your spot. My plate was $29. I wish for that price, I would have had more entrée and less sides. Don't let the picture fool you. Although the flavor was good, there were more scales than meat on my plate. (I would expect this price more from a place that had waiters.) They definitely aren't greedy with the French fries.

Great place to get a regular or chicken gyro. Best in Houston. Not much on decor but I rather pay for really good food than decoration. Really busy on the weekends but they get their food out fairly quick. Come with an appetite because you get a ton of fries with your meal.

Nice facility, plenty of parking there is seating indoor and outdoor. If you are in a wheel chair may be hard to get around inside. Food was yummy. Would love to go back and eat here again.

First time dining here, and no complaints 👌... You have to order at the counter and also pickup your meal at the counter.... Indoor and Outdoor Dining is available.... Had the 10 ounce hamburger 🍔, very good, and it came with a ton of fries 🍟 .... Wine and beer 🍺 are available...

The food, at this trendy, Greek restaurant was good and decently priced. They have a large selection of desserts. The location is great for both driving and walking. You can eat inside or alfresco.

Love! Their Gyros and hand cut fries are so good. The seasoning is on point! 😋 Don't forget about their tasty dessert. They have such a variety, I tried the Nutella one and it taste delicious! Can't wait to go back.
