Overall was a pretty good experience, but had room for improvement. Very clean and has a massive aquarium that wraps around the whole restaurant to enjoy while you eat. Appetizer: The chicken lettuce wraps were fabulous! Really fresh, super tasty and well plated! Main Courses: The Louisiana Cajun pasta was really good. Nice creamy sauce paired with all kinds of meat and tender noodles. The gator and shrimp tacos were not bad either. Gator had a prominent fishy flavor to it, but not so much that it was inedible. The tangy sauce paired with it is fantastic and helped mask a lot of that fishy taste. Our waiter was great too, super nice and attentive even while he was training a new person. The main issue we had was we have a baby in a stroller and the host sat us in the middle of a squished section. It was extremely difficult to maneuver the stroller to the table and when we asked for a high chair, the host never returned with a high chair. Other than that seating issue and the gator, was a solid experience.

This was a really fun date spot! We did not have to wait to get in and were seated next to the aquarium glass to view the fish throughout dinner. Kayla, our server, was fantastic, and did a great job accommodating the dairy allergy. We had the grilled shrimp with an additional side of coconut shrimp and the broiled captains platter. The shrimp were huge and flavorful, especially the coconut shrimp. The platter was huge and we hardly finished it. We also had the watermelon margs which were really good. Overall this was a great experience. The backdrop of the aquarium made for a fantastic date night. Bonus points for the exceptional service from Kayla and her manager.

Food was very good and service was great. I had the salmon (little on the salty side) but still a very good meal and something fun and different while in Houston for a day. My daughter had the chicken, shrimp & ribs. The chicken and shrimp were really good - I didn't try the ribs, though. Loved the ambiance. Also, I had a very tasty alcoholic drink that came with a souvenir cup. We were a little chilly so we ate outside, but we could have easily ate inside to enjoy the decor. I would go back again if in the area. We also had the calamari - That was very delicious, although they add in different ingredients (like peppers and carrots, which are also fried) so I kind of felt like you don't get quite as much of the calamari. But, still very delicious.

My family and I ate here to celebrate the Fourth of July. Overall the food was delicious. I had the Louisiana Cajun Pasta. The portions were good sized that would accommodate any appetite. The drinks that we got could’ve been better. Very watered down unfortunately; however if you get a drink that comes in the souvenir cup, you can get a free cup as long as you show your ticket. The setup next to the fish tanks also was good. Unfortunately I have to give this 4 stars instead of 5 due to the service. It took a while for us to get bread, the service was slow and even though we had reservation at a set time, it still took almost a half hour for them to seat us. I would definitely eat here again but just keep in mind that if you try to go on a day where they expect a lot of people, then don’t be surprised if things are running behind.

Had an amazing time and a great dinner with a bottle of wine. The food was great and the dessert was delicious. The experience was overall awesome. We sat there and had a conversation as the music played soft in the background with the fish were swimming around putting on a show. The valentines day meal deal was great and totally worth the deal. We flew from AZ to have this experience and I am thrilled it was there.

We are visiting from out of town on our way home from a 2 week road trip. My brother lives here and wanted to take us to dinner. The food was as good as the view. Loved the place.

There was a 2 hour and 45 minutes wait when we arrived but we checked out the aquarium, feed sting rays, did the train ride and just walked around while we waited. We were notified our table was ready early and had a great view of the fish tanks. Our server was extremely busy but did a great job! It was a little too noisy but that is normal for a large family restaurant.

I was impressed. I did not expect the food to be that good? It was outstanding and our server Jasmine was incredible. The ambiance and atmosphere was divine. As far as Houston there is not much to do. We stayed downtown and it is like a ghost town lol. But the architecture is beautiful.

Delicious, Flavored, and fresh. My family and myself went here after we got to see the fishes. Clam chowder was super good. Very family friendly. The balcony was unavailable at the time of our visit but eating inside was ok cause it was 95 outside. Worth going to after the exhibit. Imber was a great waiter!

After touring the Aquarium with my family, we decided to grab a bite to eat at the Aquarium restaurant. We got an appetizer, a kids meal, and dessert! The service was amazing and the food we order was pretty good. The dessert was amazing!

Food was good, atmosphere was interesting and very enjoyable, but the highlight of our visit was the service! The hostess was polite and efficient, the manager who returned our Landry's card was polite and professional, and our server Roberto was outstanding! On a very busy, crowded, hot day, he took the time to explain to our girls about the fish in the tanks, delivered our drinks quickly, made sure we got everything we wanted from the kitchen, and just overall took exceptional care of us.

Appetizer: combo (excluded mozzarella fried stick and replaced with more calamari) calamari is not fresh, breading for it is too thick. Price is steep for the value. Especially the entrees. I love Cajun pasta. I love steak. Outstanding waitress. 3.8/5 for first date with chill, relax ambient and upbeat music. If you have nothing to talk about there is a giant fish tank in the middle to start the conversation.

If you are visiting Houston this absolutely must see place !! Great experience , fun entire family and place for any occasion! Great food, exotic environment, gift shop, some carnival rides right outside, shark exploration trip on the train , stingray feeding , underground zoo all in one place . For Houstonians convenient event venue on the top floor, very clean bathrooms , pretty view from the balcony to see downtown, 5star delicious food must be reserved at least 8-6 months in advance. Highly recommend!

Been here a few times. I think like most restaurants right now staffing is an issue. We kept having to wave the waiter down. We were never checked on. Just basic things needed like refills, water and my points were not added even though he was told in the beginning. Food was decent. We had steaks, lobster tail, Cajun pasta and fried onion, jalapeño and pickles. It's a bit pricey but you pay for the ambience. Overall it's an experience to at least try once. Go for the experience more then the food.

I personally prefer Papadeaux seafood over Landry's. Everything was good enough to eat but it's missing something. Seasoning or something. Seems a bit costly to not be as satisfying. Same with the drinks. My kids loved the experience nonetheless so I'm happy with that more than anything else.

I recommend reserving a table in advance, you can do so with the hostess or online. Our family of 4 waited 1+ hour for a table. Upon being seated, the table was wobbly and small. Our waiter, Daniil, was very quick and brought us our drinks, which never stayed empty for long. Brought our kids food out first. Kids food: served on fun plates, my kids got the hot dogs and cheeseburgers with Mac and cheese. The burgers and hot dogs came plain which, in my opinion, is fantastic for kids. The Mac and cheese was lukewarm, watery, and bland. The noodles felt slightly undercooked. Our food: we ordered the gator for an appetizer which was both of our first time trying it, it was very flavorful and came with an amazing dipping sauce. My only complaint with that is it came with more fried onions than gator. We shared the fisherman’s platter which was a great size for 2 people. Everything was delicious. The shrimp was a good size. The tilapia paired very well with the avocado pico they put on top. The rice was a nice palate cleansing neutral flavor. We ordered the shark attack dessert which was a great size for us 2 adults and 2 small kids. It took about 20 minutes for them to prepare and was so worth the wait. The atmosphere was very nice, we all loved watching the huge fish swim around while we ate. The bathrooms were nice, however, the stall doors were sticky and the second stall in the women’s restroom did not close. It was a bit pricey, but I would say overall worth the cost. We genuinely enjoyed our visit.

The food was ok but not the best I had for the price here. We spent $95 including tip 18% for 2 one steak dinner abt $50 and chicken shrimp fettuccine dinner $24 2 iced teas $4. The rides are great fun for the kids. The service was great. The parking is $15.

This place was awesome. Very cool, visually. And the food was great. Very big portions that none of us could finish. You definitely get your money's worth.

Bring my daughter here to celebrate with her special day , she totally in love with the giant fish tank . She enjoy her big place of appetite and share some with us . We love our choice of Castaway combo come with Calamari, chicken quesadillas, shrimp & crab dip, fried cheese, tortilla chips . But disappointed with our gumbo , a little bit lack of flavor. Luckily the Louisiana Cajun pasta make us smile again . Hope they will make a better gumbo next time we come back . Service staff was helpful and great . We will be back !

Definitely was a fun experience! The chicken alfredo was really good, considering that it is a seafood restaurant! They also have a whole mini amusement park to enjoy after eating! Pretty neat place!

Exquisite place... definitely worth taking and afternoon and visiting. The Aquarium itself is simply awesome; girgeous from start to finish and one of the best aquariums this side of the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi. I saw Landry's owned the restaurant and immediately thought two things; this is going to be pricey but the food is going to be five-star. It was pricey, but closer to four-and-a-half stars. Little thing make the biggest difference. I ordered raw oysters (my appetizer go to) and what normally costs about $12 at other seafood establishments is $21. That's fine... but my real issue is that they aren't anything special. They came in an awesome bowl rather than a plastic pan, which is nice. But i got the same ol' plastic packets of cheap crackers. Weird thing to be picky about I know, but seriously; for nearly double the price all these oysters needed was one simple improvement to the cheapest portion of the meal to make a massive visceral and pallettable difference. And that was the whole meal; everything was one simple ingredient shy of being something really impressive. After spending $10 on parking, $75 on entrance and $120 on a meal for 3 I would like to see thise little things to really make the experience. And so rather than focusing on the really awesome aspects of the experience (the AMAZING atmosphere and really good food) I'm left question something as trivial as crackers. Not really fair to Landry's; this place is awesome. But it's one good set of crackers away from being a 5-star experience.

My husband brought me here to celebrate my bday,so far I like the place as well my little girl, because she can see the big giant aquarium with a lot of fish in it 😉. The food and drink came on time. The only thing is my husband order his food and to tell the waiter to make it spicy and the waiter ask if it’s okay to give jalapeño and we said Yes.the food came we did not see the jalapeño and ask our waiter and it took a long time to bring it out. And after we finished the dinner, the waiter also forgot to brought the complimentary cupcake for us. So we have to remind again to bring it. And during to pay the bill they charge us for extra $ for something we did not order. My suggestion to all Check your bill before you pay.

The Mother's Day brunch buffet at the Aquarium Restaurant, 410 Bagby St., Houston, TX 77002, is always fantastic. Everything is wonderful and exquisite, ranging from seafood to prime ribs and ham carving sections, an omelette station, a jambalaya station, a salad section, a waffle area, a pizza section, and a dessert section. There is a large crew on hand to take care of you, and there are also musical visitors to keep the patrons entertained. Therefore, both the ambiance and the service are excellent and superb. There is lots of on-site parking available, as well as a valet service. The cost of the all-you-can-eat buffet is $49 for adults, $39 for seniors, and $20 for children. Overall, we'll return to this location very soon. Well done!

My wife and I decided to eat here after touring the aquarium. While not inexpensive (about the same price as the seafood restaurants off Galveston beach) the food and service were top notch. Given that there were a couple of big birthday parties with several kids going on at yhe time we ate, it was a pleasant surprise to receive such good service. We would definitely consider eating here again.

Clean atmosphere & great host/waitress. Food took a while but we didn't mind. Everyone enjoyed their meal except the blackened salmon & capers (didn't get a picture of her plate) were a little salty.

The food was really delicious, we all enjoyed the food. Although it was pricey, it was worth the price. The large tank of fish was a really nice touch. And the bathrooms are really clean. Definitely coming again soon.

I dined at the restaurant last Sunday. I had family visiting from Detroit, and based on my recommendations they wanted to give it a try. I also wanted some place nice as a Birthday treat for my aunt who turned 71 years young. It was very busy and crowded, but I'm glad that I made advance reservations. We were seated promptly, and the waiter came shortly after. This was my second time eating here, and the first since the pandemic. Though the menu had changed, the food was still delicious, and they give you a nice portion. We all ordered the Seafood Stuffed Catfish, with the exception of one kids meal, and Sampler. It was DELICIOUS! 😋 Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the atmosphere. They were amazed at the huge fish in the aquarium, which was very relaxing while dining. We were stuffed, so my aunt was given a Birthday cupcake,🧁 which caught her by surprise. Our plans were to tour the aquarium and rides after dining, but upon leaving, it was 116 degrees!🔥 Unfortunately, that will have to wait until the next visit. They were not use to the heat. Overall, the restaurant, server, and food was great! I highly recommend that you try it.
