We made reservations to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary here. Although we arrived early, they seated us at our table but it was near the bar and louder than we desired so they accommodated our request to move someplace quieter. We had 2 waiters providing service and the manager checking on us. Their timing on when to check up on us was impeccable. The food was fantastic and flawlessly cooked. They provided a beautiful dessert to mark the occasion. Overall, the service, food, ambience and occasion were perfect. Very highly recommended.

Went there for lunch last week. Great service and great food. Gumbo was excellent with a dark roux. I also had the fried chicken with mash potatoes and macaroni and cheese. All were excellent. Fried chicken was cooked perfect. Even the cornbread brought for the table was excellent. Definitely recommend.

All these years in Houston and I had never been to Grace’s, but one afternoon my wife and I were running errands and we were hungry. We passed by Grace’s and on a whim decided to stop in for lunch. It was Restaurant Week and at 2 p.m. we managed to miss most of the lunch rush. We were sat in the open dining room, offered the restaurant week menu and regular menu, asked for drink orders and given plenty of time to decide what we’d like to eat. The Restaurant Week menu was a good deal with yummy options so we went that direction with the seafood campechana, seafood gumbo, roasted pork chops and mashed potatoes. The seafood campechana was served in a small corn tortilla bowl with tortilla chips. It was a smaller serving, but as a part of a three-course meal it wasn’t too small. The gumbo wasn’t my favorite, but my wife is from Louisiana and I’m biased. Their gumbo has okra which gives it a more earthy flavor. Now, the roasted pork chops and mashed potatoes? They were a perfect bite. The pork melted in your mouth and you could taste the amount of butter in the potatoes. We got a bread pudding to-go, too. This was absolutely worth it for a $25 meal. I’ll definitely return to enjoy the regular menu.

We went to Grace’s for the first time to take advantage of their $25 lunch special for Restaurant Week because it seemed like a great deal. The offerings differed from what showed up online, but we were not disappointed! A whole lot of tasty food for the price. We added on the Bundt cake for dessert and we were glad we did. Service was excellent as well. Looking forward to coming back!

My second visit. The chicken fried chicken was crispy and seasoned just enough. I asked to switch my sides. The replacements were better. Con: Our group couldn't sit together. There were 8 adults and 1 child. So that made the celebration feel disconnected. They made sure we were connected in the automatic 18% gratuity.

The service was excellent! Allen was our server and he paid attention to the details. He was kind, efficient and personable! The owner came to our table and personally wished the birthday person happy birthday. The food was great and the atmosphere was inviting! There were five of us. Someone had the southern fried pork chop breakfast and another person had the chicken and waffles.

You must dine at Grace's if you live or visit the Houston area. The food and the atmosphere were great! I didn't really like the collard greens or the steak and eggs, but the creole stuffed chicken, fried green tomatoes, the shrimp and calamari, and sweet tea with lemon and mint was on point. I recommend this place, and the black excellence in here was amazing! This is a nice upscale restaurant where you and your girls can dine for brunch, or you and your significant other can go out on a date. Valet parking and covered parking are offered.

Grace’s! Grace’s! Grace’s! I can’t say enough great things, just go try it. The food was some of THE BEST brunch I’ve ever had. The only thing I didn’t care for was the automatic gratuity added to every single item you order no matter the party size. We ordered the shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and traditional breakfast platter. The drinks were so strong that all you’d need is one. A bit pricey but worth it to me. I give it 5 stars all around.

After hearing so many people talk about this place, I had to try it out. I was not disappointed and definitely worth the hour wait for a table. I will be back being that there was so much stuff on the menu I wanted to try! I literally purchased 2 additional meals just to take home. A+ service!!!!!

Visited for Houston Restaurant Week Lunch and didn’t disappoint! First and foremost, can I mention how good that cornbread is?! I almost wanted to ask for another one. Also, I loved that it was a three course and everything we ordered were so tasty. There was not one thing that I wanted to complain about, except how I was too full to have the dessert and I was so sad about that. The server was also very attentive and provided seamless service.

Great service and good food, be prepared to spend some money. We sat outside when we visited. There doesn't seen to be an overall dress code for this place. It is a cute place to have a nice girls brunch or a cute lunch / dinner date. Below in the pictures is the full menu and drink menu. 1. Strawberry Margarita 2. Lemon Drop 3. Moscow Mule 4. Cornbread 5. Baked Potatoe Dip 6. Caesar Salad 7. Garden Salad 8. Johnny Chang's Kung Fu Chicken and Brussel Sprouts 9. Chicken Fired Chicke 10. Beef Stroganoff Everything was 10/10 highly recommend. And Angelica was a great server!

Delicious!!! I had the the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious! Flavorful and not greasy! The Brussel sprouts where my favorite side because they were nice and crispy. My kids had the chicken fingers with Mac and cheese and they devoured it!

I love the way the restaurant is designed; it’s a large place but the rooms feel small and intimate. The Baked Potato Dip was a bit disappointing. It’s basically queso with bacon bits served with homemade potato chips. It was okay; I was expecting something different. The server said the crab cake was “amazing” and he was right. It’s not a “Maryland crab cake”; it has breading and fillers but, it’s seasoned well and extremely flavorful. I wasn’t expecting a lot from the French fries but, to my surprise, they were delicious! I’d heard good things about their Mac and cheese and that didn’t disappoint! Yum!!! The fried chicken is well seasoned and it’s a generous portion. The service was fantastic. They anticipated our needs, our requests were completed so fast and discretely, I didn’t even realize they brought over what we asked for lol. Bottom line, Grace’s is good; very good.

1st time there, will definitely come back. 4 stars on service because server was in training, but he was good and the manager followed up. Great food, loved my shrimp tacos, next time I'll get the sauce on the side so I can control the heat. That cornbread came out fresh from the oven and was delicious, definitely a grandmother's recipe.

Great Service! Drinks are awesome! Good portions are small for the price. Seafood platter was not very seasoned. Sticky pork ribs were great. Grilled chicken plate was well seasoned and great. The cornbread was the best!

I'm visiting my sister and she suggested we have lunch, as I was fresh off the plane. I liked the passage door, felt like a secret dining experience but its actually the bar area. The wood trim n green paint was nice. Ole world charm. We had a jalapeño cornbread appetizer. I had a fried shrimp stuffed poblano pepper on a bed of rice and she had stuffed chicken with greens n mac. The martinis were called side cars, n the name was befitting..a smooth ride. Wonderful experience and our server was busy yet attentive.

Service was over the top! We had a large group and Todd the manager moved us to a very nice location. The waiter we were going to have suggested it to him since our group was crowded at our table. We weren’t able to keep him as the waiter but we were well taken care of! Drinks and appetizers were awesome! I highly recommend!!

The food was good and very tasteful. The server was nice and pleasant. It's just the food took a while to come out. That was no problem because we had appetizers.

Grace’s is a great restaurant with great food and service. They offer complimentary valet so that was a nice touch. I came on a Sunday for dinner. Surprisingly there wasn’t a wait. I decided to try the Roasted Chicken. It came with broccolini and I ordered a side of mashed potatoes. The chicken was nice and juicy. The jalapeño cornbread they serve each table was really good too. I definitely plan to come back!

Graces was delicious! They started off by bringing us jalapeno cornbread with honey butter. Then I had the cajun stuffed chicken, collards greens and mac n chz. My fiance had the philly cheesesteak sandwhich with fries. It's a little pricy. Id come back if i was feeling in the mood to spend the money.

First time at grace. Food was good, but not amazing. Fired chicken was moist and crispy, alittle under season. The sides were good. The bbq sheimp was ok, however the bread that came with it was really good. The carrots cake is moist but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was really slow from our waiter, but the other servers and floor Manager person was really helped out and made the experience good.

This place is great! Very reasonable prices and tasty food. We got the stuffed chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese, we also got the chicken sandwich. However the star was the cornbread! It’s awesome! I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Came here for Brunch last Sunday. Everything tasted really good and the waiter was really nice and attentive. The only bad thing about this place was the wait. My group of 7 waited for 2 hours to be seated. This place is very popular so either come early on Sundays or just come on another day. Also, this place is a bit pricey. Overall, I had a really good experience and would consider coming back

Nice comfort food restaurant. Great service and food. I had the chicken tortilla soup and then the beef short ribs and mashed potatoes. The soup was perfect! The boneless ribs were amazing. My wife had the chicken fried chicken which was plate-sized with mashed potatoes and black-eye peas - all delicious! A bottle of wine plus two desserts (to go) and we couldn't eat another bite. We will be back!
