The
food
is
what
you’d
expect
at
any
I-Hop
across
the
country.
It’s
classically
All-American
diner
bites
with
that
little
touch
of
nostalgia
for
those
of
us
who
grew
up
with
it.
Sometimes,
like
any
other
restaurant,
the
food
won’t
be
as
good
as
it
can
be
other
times
or
they
may
forget
things
for
a
to
go
order,
but
generally,
you’ll
get
what
you
asked
for.
As
the
food
can’t
be
too
different
from
any
other
location,
what
makes
this
IHOP
stand
out
compared
to
all
others
is
it’s
hardworking
staff.
I’m
often
here
on
Sundays—the
busiest
day
of
the
week
for
them
I’m
sure.
And
everyone
there,
despite
probably
being
severely
underpaid
and
overworked
by
a
massive
corporation
like
IHOP,
keep
a
smile
on
their
face
even
throughout
the
rush.
They
are
constantly
running
around,
turning
tables
quick
as
they
can,
dealing
with
difficult
customers
and
kindly
welcoming
the
good
ones.
I
obviously
don’t
know
every
worker
here
but
Jose
stands
out
to
me.
That
man
is
working
up
a
sweat
every
time
I’m
there.
My
order
was
messed
up
once
and
he
told
me
to
come
in
and
he’d
make
it
right,
and
I’m
not
even
sure
if
he
knew
I
was
a
regular.
On
my
next
visit,
he
took
care
of
me
and
while
I
was
waiting
for
my
order
I
saw
him
running
around
and
greeting
each
person
with
a
smile.
There’s
rarely
much
to
say
about
IHOPs,
but
this
one,
from
my
experience
at
many
of
them
through
my
20-something
years
of
life,
has
stood
out.
