Such a great place to eat. Depending on what you get, it can be pricey, but definitely worth it. The staff is crazy attentive. The live music just adds to the aesthetics and ambience. There is so much depth and richness to the flavors in every dish.

Pico's offers a variety of Mexican regional dishes without steering far from the standard expected fare. It is a big space that offers several areas for private events. Food: 4 stars. It was good, not great. I would like to see some creative exploration or refinement in the dishes. The drinks were top-notch. We especially enjoyed the sotol lemonade. Not a lot of places serve sotol. Service: 5 stars. Great service from the host, waiter, and bussers. Atmosphere: 4 stars. It's kind of an old hacienda vibe with some nice decor moments, but parts of the restaurant feel dated and are likely originating from the previous restaurant that inhabited the space. The acoustics were not good, and the space was loud for 15% occupancy.

Great restaurant! Has an up-scale of interior And fine dining feel. While sorta priced to match, it had lower prices than another well known place nearby. Our server was excellent, answering questions and giving a recommendation when asked. He even told us about events at the restaurant. But the food stole the show just as it should! Amazing tacos for an appetizer, beef enchilada was delicious and then there was the mole. It was absolutely phenomenal, the lamb was moist and tender while the type of mole was somewhat sweet. It was a great pairing.

Our garcon was Angle, amazing service and knowledge about the food. The food here had a true Mexican taste. An avocado-based Mexican dish, aguachile features shrimp submerged in a liquid with chili peppers, lime juice, salt, cilantro, cucumber slices, and onion slices. Raw vegetables, such as cucumbers, are often added. Molcajetes are used to prepare this raw seafood dish that originates in the west region of Mexico.

PRO'S: Pico's Restaurant had original offerings for Houston Restaurant Week. At lunch we passed in the excellent Margaritas. Starter tortilla soup was well made. Delicious Spinach Enchiladas had almonds for added flavor.

Pico's offers a good variety of Mexican foods, from various regions . This is not my first visit, and I found the staff to be a bit cold. The food was pretty average, with the exception of the ceviche, which were yummy.

For me…Picos was just ok. The service was subpar. We had to wait for the servers to do rock, paper, scissors to decide who was going to take our table. I had to get up and ask the host at the front who was supposed to help our table. Not to mention the restaurant was practically empty…. We should have received excellent service from start to finish. The food was ok….nothing impressive about the dishes we chose. Not sure about the dessert or the drinks… I wasn’t participating in enjoying libations during this visit. I may have to return, give them another shot…everyone deserves a second chance and this time I will try the drinks and let you guys know.

This was my 1st time. I went for a birthday celebration. We had 2 different selections of mole. Both were good my favorite was the Manchas Manteles mole. I also ordered the Jamaica “agua fresca” delicious and not to sweet. Overall great service, price was reasonable, and food was tasteful. They have complimentary valet but I was able to find a spot open so no need to valet.

The best combination ceviche in town! I love the “Peacador” with a little extra lemon! The entire menu is pretty darn good as well! Servers are price and attentive! High fives to the bartender Fernando who does a great job!

Boy, the food here is so good. Price is moderate ~$50 per person lunch. Mayra, our server is very helpful, fun and attentive. They have complimentary valet parking but make sure to tip them 😉. Nice ambiance and cozy atmosphere. I will definitely visit again for Mexican cuisine.

This place was amazing. I had fajita nachos where the meat is set to the side for you to add. Great service, great drinks, and great food. First time being here, the atmosphere is great and the music was good and I've only just entered through the door. The only downside I would have to say is that it is very pricy, but WELL worth the cost of everything.

First time visitors! We came for their Mother's Day Brunch and had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. Valet was super welcoming and kind. We did not have reservations but the hostess was able to accommodate us. As busy as it was, everyone remained professional, calm and attentive with welcoming smiles. Food was delicious! Very impressed with the variety. I loved the fresh limonada. Picos must be very proud of their staff! We are looking forward to dine in for dinner soon. Thank you for a great Mother's Day experience!

If you're looking for more authentic Mexican and not just texmex, this seems to be the place ! We had live band tonight that was nice and it was packed. Reservations highly recommend and selection of wine and tequila was pretty good. We had a decent spread to share as well. A mix of meat to eat with our fresh fajitas. Quite liked it , would try again and during the summer for patio season. Enjoy !

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and even though there was live music and the place was packed, we could still comfortably talk to each other.

Arnaldo Richards' Picos Restaurant has a special place in our hearts. Whether it's a family dinner or simply enjoying a handcrafted margarita at the bar, this place never disappoints. When we lived nearby, Picos was our go-to spot for weekly family time. Even after moving 20 minutes away, we make the effort to go back because it's just that good. The food is authentic Mexican and always delicious. The service is another highlight. Hector, who's been our server for many years, is the best in the business. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, he makes each visit memorable. And let's not forget Happy Hour on Mondays! Those were the days we'd indulge in fresh chips and salsa, a tradition we dearly miss. In a nutshell, if you're looking for great food, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Picos is the place to be. We highly recommend it!

Wow I can’t believe I have not been here before. This place is amazing. The red salsa is the best I have ever had. It is very flavorful. I had the seafood enchiladas and they were very good

As a Mexican, I can vouch that this place has good Tex-Mexican food! From the salsa, to the queso, to the fajita, to the churros. Quality food and service!

We went last month for Houston restaurant week and the food was just ok. The pork wasn’t very flavorful or tender.

Disappointed in the food. I got the spinach quesadilla for appetizer, lamb shank for entre, and tres leches for dessert. The food was very bland.. the avocado salsa was didn’t taste like anything. The tres leches was extremely sweet. Not worth the money in my opinion. The service was really good and good ambient though!

Great food and atmosphere. If not for the football game playing, and inconsiderate customers thinking this was a fast food place, it would be top notch. Waiter was superb.

Go hungry, if you’re going to the Sunday brunch. It’s about $45 a person, but it’s exceptionally good. And they have everything on this buffet. There’s so much food there. It was hard to decide what to get. My husband got a chicken dish that comes baked in a banana leaf. It’s definitely worth checking out.

Great menu with many choices. They have red snapper for all fish dishes. All of their tortillas are homemade. The campechana, tacos al pastor with fresh pineapple, and posole rojo were all fantastic. Also love their tamales.
