Had a last night supper for my friend and she loved the spicy creamy tofu ramen 🍜 It’s the best option for both meat eaters and vegetarian 🌱 like me! I really like the broth! Very flavorful and tasty 😋 Make sure try it out! Come visit and enjoy 😉 Cheers 🥂

Awesome ambience! Great music! Perfect service! Exceptional food! Ordered White Peach Hana Sake, with Spicy Creamy Shrimp Tempura and Spicy Chicken Katsu Ramen (not on the menu) and we loved it! Definitely coming back for more! 😊

Hi all!!! Where are here today at JINYA Romen !!!!! My family like to try different restaurants of RAMEN !!! I was disappointed because this place has good reviews. I like the inside of the restaurant, the staff friendly. We are a family of four, our waitress forgets one order. So we had to wait for my wife order, we ask for lemonade. The lemonade tasted bad, The broth of my Tonkotsu it was missing the flavor!!!!!! The pork was so salty, well the shrimp wonton it was the same so my son and wife they didn’t like it. But the chicken ramen it was ok. Our experience in JINYA is was really bad ,the prices where little price because is close to downtown that’s why I think. And I know some people will not like my review but is ok that was my experience. DonJJ Out !!! Were to go next weekend???

This was my first time going here and it was great! The atmosphere is very cool and relaxing and the service was great. I got the Shrimp Wonton noodles and added butter, broccoli, and the chopped up chicken. I will definitely go back.

I can only speak for the spicy creamy vegan ramen. It is DELICIOUS. Most vegan ramens are not good to my taste but this is it. It’s not spicy in my opinion, I usually add a little chili oil to add flavor to it. Note that it only comes with tofu, some green onion, and spinach and you have a choice to add on other toppings but in my opinion, $3 for a side of mushrooms and an additional $2.50 for corn is a lot. That’s more than 30% of the cost of the plate. Plus, if you want chili oil, you’re charged for that too. I’ve ordered to go and portions are much smaller than going in person.

Ok, this place has a really cool decor. Kind of like you’re in Japan. They yell when you walk in, “Irashaimasu” which means welcome in Japanese. The wait staff is very friendly and international and actually went through the whole menu with us. Brisy recommended a dish and turn out to be delicious. This is a great place for a date, but also for a business meeting. Not too loud so you can have a good conversation. I ordered the vegan ramen, so yes if you’re vegan they have a menu for you and it tastes good. I also had the vegan gyoza…very tasty.

This was my first time having Ramen, and it was great! The soup just warms you up from the inside out. My friend and I ordered 2 different ones and got to share a little of our bowls with each other. That was what we had in the smaller bowls Also I loved that you can order other items to add into your bowl.

Great vibe with great food! The waiters were friendly and very attentive to everyone. Their crispy chicken is delicious and everyone enjoyed their ramen. We had the tonkotsu spicy ramen and the spicy chicken ramen. They are the perfect portion and delicious! Be sure to try their mojotos!

First off, shout out to our server Serrina! She was awesome! As for the food and the setting, both were great! My gf and I got the Jinya Bun, Pork Chasu Bowl, and the Kara Men and all dishes were SLAPPIN (slappin = very good). This place is a must have experience. Highly recommend for date night, lunch, dinner, or if you ever feel the need to treat yourself to something tasty 😋. You’re welcome 😎. Forgot to take a picture of the Jinya Bun, i ate it as soon as it got to the table. It didn’t stand a chance 😅.

Absolutely delicious! 1st time we've gone here and totally worth it. Great atmosphere, awesome service, and excellent food. Great service and the waiting times are really short. It’s now my favorite ramen place!

Had a great time coming to JINYA, our server Lily and her trainee Abby were great... We normally order online but with this great service and atmosphere, we will be definitely coming back to dine in!! Make sure to try the drink of the day, I had the Strawberry Lychee Mule and it was great!

Upscale downtown ramen bar with delectable appetizers, suggest the "buns". Thick and thin noodle options with varying strength sauces from mild to spicy to hot, and thin to creamy depending on your mood. Many additions to increase your soup bounty, at a cost each of course.

The wait staff is always nice. The look of the restaurant is cool. The food... wow. I don't know what they do to that broth, but I could drink a gallon of it. The crispy chicken is insanely delicious. The ramen is top notch. It even works well to go. I can't say enough about this place. Worth the trip!!

How good was it. On a visit to Houston, I ate here twice. Not once and move on to next place. The pork ramen black was amazing. Spicy or mild to survive. Higher if you can handle it.

I tried the Jinya Tonkotsu Black, spice level Inferno and it was delicious! The broth was so rich with flavor and I loved the ramen bowl includes a whole seasoned egg, not just a half. The Inferno level was pretty intense but not overwhelmingly spicy. So if you like your food with an extra-extra kick like I do, go for it, or try the next level double Inferno! Just an FYI my lips were burning after the meal but it was worth it to me.

Our favorite Ramen in the States. Had Jinya in las Vegas, SF, Seattle to Houston. Our favorite is black tonkotsu ramen. Its soup is savory with right amount of saltiness. Noodles texture is perfect. Chasu not too fatty. As i like them. We also ordered gyoza. There're vegetarians option too. Parking is at the garage in the back, 1st and 2nd floor.

Great place and awesome food. The spicy vegan ramen was flavorful with the best tofu I have ever had! The watermelon summer drink was not great but the ramen made the visit worth it.

Very cute spot. There is also free parking walking distance from the restaurant. A little pricey. Got two ramen bowls, and Gyoza as an appetizer, along with two soft drinks which was $55. However despite the price I would come again. Service was fast, servers were nice, food was great, and staff doesn’t rush your table like other restaurants. Great menu selection as well!

The food and the atmosphere are good, but the service was great! The staff is very friendly, everyone greats you with a loud warm welcome. I don't remember any of the names of the dishes or drinks, but if you bump into Rose, the friendly server, she will be able to recommend the house favorites. We took her advice and ordered all of her personal recommendations, we were NOT disappointed. She helped us have a great time there! Highly recommend this place to come and enjoy. Only complaint, they don't give you enough meat in the main dishes. 😒

My aunt recommended this place to me so a friend and I tried it last week. This was my first time having ramen, so I didn’t know what to expect. We both ordered the spicy chicken ramen after the waitress told us it was a popular dish. Honestly, for $17 I felt that it was nothing spectacular. The broth was tasty and well seasoned but i was left wanting more. It came with noodle, 2 slices of chicken, and the veggies seen in the photo. I realized later that you have to pay for each additional topping that you want. Maybe my expectations were too high but if I did come back I would likely try another dish. The drinks weren’t that strong either. On the bright side, the waitress was friendly and the inside was nice. Our food came out really quickly and it was steaming hot. This would be a cute place for date night if you’re looking to try something different.

I can’t recommend this place enough for a cute night out. The ambiance is great, and it looks like they invested a lot into the decor, lighting, and seating because it all goes together so well. They have gluten free noodles which were really good, and I loved the lychee Moscow mule. Service was really friendly, and food didn’t take too long although the place was pretty full.

I had a pretty good experience here. The menu was easy to read and ordered the house Ramen which was really good and full of flavor. I got the cauliflower as appetizer and it was good as well. Expect to park on the street though. Other than that my experience was good. I will be going back to try out more things. Go check it out!!!

Came here the night before my final exam of medical school hoping for some relaxation before my big day-- I found just that. I've been coming here for several years so want to cover a few things. First of all, I want to give a huge shout out to our waitress, Brisy. Both my girlfriend and I have worked in different restaurants so we don't tickle pick up on great service. Brisy was amazing from the start. She greeted us cheerfully and was eager to help. She noticed immediately when there was trash or empty plates on our table and picked them up before we even realized. When my gf was missing her soft boiled egg in her soup, Brisy noticed immediately and fixed it within minutes. It was like she was reading our mind the entire time and even offered to bring the check at the exact time we were about to ask. Brisy deserves a raise or employee of the month or something! She was awesome! Secondly, I freaking love Houston. Jinya is a chain and I actually visited one in DC one time as I was craving ramen. DC DOES NOT COMPARE TO HOUSTON. Houston just does every food category better, even when it's the same chain. We had vegan Gyoza for apps and it was fantastic. I liked it best without any sauce. The Spicy Chicken was my entree and it was so flavorful. The type of dish were the broth could stand completely on its own. Any of their spicy ramens are amazing. Give Brisy a raise!

Great ramen. Authentic Japanese taste! The staff was very knowledgeable about the food and gave great recommendations of what goes well with the dishes. Would definitely go again!

Best Ramen to date!! Their Creamy vegan ramen is a go to for sure. I love the way they greet EVERY guest with “Hello” in their native language. It gets me every time. The atmosphere is so home-eee and their food comes out fairly quick, even during the busy times. I’ve also went during their happy hour- try the mini tacos!!!!

Only the second JINYA Ramen bar I’ve been and it didn’t disappoint! I love the ramen with soba noodles and tonkatsu soup! The sitting was a surprise. You might end up at a huge table sitting next to other customers. My boyfriend and I happened to had fun talking to our table buddies though! There were other booths and tables if you didn’t want to socialize but I’d suggest you ask. It could get a little hectic with a crowd but the atmosphere was buzzing with happy customers 😄 loved the vibe, the staff are trying to make sure everyone is helped! Just amazing altogether food and atmosphere!
