This
past
Saturday,
I
had
the
chance
to
visit
Lincoln
Bar
in
Houston,
a
place
known
for
its
vibrant
atmosphere
and
lively
crowd.
Overall,
my
experience
was
enjoyable,
with
the
ambiance
and
the
company
making
it
a
night
to
remember.
The
music
and
the
setting
were
top-notch,
contributing
to
a
great
evening
out.
However,
there
was
a
significant
downside
to
the
experience.
Despite
the
lively
atmosphere,
the
table
service
was
remarkably
below
par.
A
prime
example
of
this
was
my
encounter
with
the
Hookah
service.
Right
after
getting
seated,
I
placed
an
order
for
a
Hookah,
anticipating
a
relaxing
experience.
Unfortunately,
the
service
fell
short
of
expectations.
After
waiting
for
about
an
hour,
the
Hookah
was
nowhere
in
sight.
This
lapse
in
service
was
disappointing
and
surprising,
given
the
reputation
of
the
place.
To
add
to
the
frustration,
I
was
charged
$48
for
the
Hookah,
which
I
never
received.
Recognizing
the
hard
work
of
the
staff,
I
included
a
42%
tip,
which
reflects
my
usual
approach
to
appreciating
service
workers,
even
in
less-than-ideal
situations.
Nonetheless,
this
incident
was
a
letdown,
especially
considering
the
anticipation
and
the
cost
involved.
I'm
currently
considering
reaching
out
to
the
management
for
a
full
refund.
However,
given
the
typical
response
from
club
management
in
Houston,
I'm
still
optimistic
about
the
outcome.
It's
disheartening
when
such
experiences
taint
an
otherwise
enjoyable
evening.
I
hope
the
management
notes
such
instances
to
improve
their
service
in
the
future.
In
conclusion,
while
Lincoln
Bar
offers
a
great
ambiance
and
an
enjoyable
social
setting,
they
need
to
step
up
their
game
regarding
table
service
significantly.
It's
essential
for
such
a
popular
spot
to
ensure
that
all
aspects
of
the
customer
experience
match
the
high
standards
they're
known
for.
I'm
hopeful
that
my
next
visit
will
be
free
of
such
disappointments.
