DJ Melodic is amazing, the food is amazing…it takes an hour wait in line to get a drink. Just ridiculous. Better to walk to the Texaco, grab a six pack & enjoy the wonderful food and ambiance. A waiter/waitress + large beer cooler (like Niko-Niko’s in Square Park) would make this place a must every weekend. DJ has a very low hourly rate and makes this place what it is. Hoping a place with better service picks him up. Would be better for the environment not to use the plastic fork and knife.

Food was absolutely delicious 😋. 1st time here and definitely going back. Service was great. Very fast. Parking isn't so good so we paid the $10 valet to avoid driving around and getting towed. Atmosphere was nice. I like that it is pet friendly.

Brunched here with two friends and we couldn’t believe we hadn’t eaten here before. It’s delicious. We all had the Benedict with jalapeno hollandaise (pictured). You order inside and they bring the food to you. There’s a huge patio (there was a dj on the Sat we went). The interior space is medium-sized. There’s a charge for valet ($10), but there’s ample street parking in the area. Can’t wait to go back! Also don’t know why this place doesn’t have straight up 5 stars in its category.

I absolutely love Piggy's. It is close to my office so we usually go over for lunch on Fridays every so often. They have a great patio. It has a very "Austin" type vibe to it. The food has all been delicious but I think the Wedge salad is my favorite! The fish tacos are my 2nd favorite. If you are looking for a casual laid back vibe it is spot on. They have a great selection of cocktails and frozen drinks as well. The only downside to Piggy's I would say is the parking. It is a bit of a struggle especially if you are in a large truck or SUV.

Went here for brunch and everything was fried within an inch of its life. Greasy, no seasoning and lukewarm. I wouldn’t recommend going here to eat, but it is a Great hang out dinking spot with an expansive bar, outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating as well. They charge 3% for credit card orders and parking is by valet.

The eggs migas are soooo good I get them every time I get brunch there. The frozen drinks are good and so is the DJ. Grown and sexy vibe....

The bartender was polite and friendly. The Bloody Mary was spicy as requested. The food arrived shortly after, hot and fresh. The blueberry waffle was fluffy and perfect. The chicken and biscuit tasted as good as it looked. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

My new favorite outdoor patio in River Oaks! I came for happy hour and was surprised with an amazing DJ playing outside and I was bobbin my head all evening while eating on some great food and sippin on some amazing drinks!

Had a wonderful outdoor patio area that was clean, had sun or shade. Good music, the patrons were jovial but not obnoxious. Bar had fancy craft drinks that were delicious. Food was fantastic, best fried chicken I've had this year. Great staff, just be patient. Little pricey cause I'm poor but it's worth the quality I would argue.

Fun place for a meal and drinks. The food and drinks are not bad. One has to wait in line to order then the food is brought to the table. That is ok when it is not busy at all. However, could be a problem when it is mildly busy. This place is animal friendly with lots of dogs usually seen in the outside seating areas making for a cool ambiance. The food is good/ not amazing. Enjoyed the burger, but was not cooked correctly. The fries are terrible- soggy and not well made. They definitely need to work on making good crispy fries. Chicken fingers were pretty good, again not crispy or amazing. They were nice with the gravy. The onion rings were pretty strong. The seating areas are available both inside and outside and were open and clean. The staff were friendly. There were two bathrooms that were unisex. They are clean and well kept. Overall nice place to spend some time with friends.

Thsi place has a lot of seating inside and outside with a full bar. They have specials every day of the week, you order at the bar. The food we had was delicious! My daughter had a big ol Chicken burger and I had fish tacos. Definitely would come back to try other dishes.

Love coming here on Thursday evenings for happy hour. They have $8 cocktails and $15 beer buckets. The food is really good. We always get the nachos but we always stay for @DJGoodFats set until 9. Good vibes, bring your pup if they’re great in public as well since they do have a pet friendly patio. I hear brunch is a vibe as well and will be checking that out in the future!

First time visiting with our Greek Mend’s Lunch group! Warning!! Limited parking in the lot 4 spots + 1 handicap spot. Alternative…street parking. No issue for us m…we always arrive 11:09 AM wherever we go for lunch. Erica was so friendly and accommodating in taking our orders. No problem combining a dine-in and takeout on same ticket. The hamburger with cheddar and grilled onions was terrific! The bun was really good. Only downside was I forgot to substitute onion rings for the shoestring potatoes. My bad. Chris K had the grilled chicken with avocado and side salad. Trying to be healthy. Will certainly put Piggy’s on the “visit again” list.

Food was delicious! Atmosphere was nice, lively and clean. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, the music was jamming. Their cinnamon roll icing is delicious! The mimosas did not disappoint either. Next time I visit home, we'll be stopping in again.

Place accommodating with good outdoor seating and some indoor seating. You order at the bar and someone brings out to you. Laid back atmosphere and good happy hour. The food was large proportion and reasonably priced.

This place completely blew my expectations out of the water. Best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to go back and have another. The vibe is cool and just a fun place overall.

It was good but definitely not fresh. Staff was ok, and place was clean. Self serve water station inside. Nice patio and dog friendly. I prefer the onion creek instead of this location. Parking is awful here but I found a nice spot.

The chicken and waffles were delicious! Loved the atmosphere and music (too loud at times) The service was not what I expected. You had to go to the bar to place your order and at times the line was lengthy. The food was delivered in a timely fashion so we didn't have to wait to long which was good. Hard to find parking. Valet parking was an option for $10.

The ambience was like a typical hole in the wall bar, but the food was ridiculously delicious. 😋 hats off to the chef. I want to go back just to try different meals now. Excellent brunch spot!!!

We made a mid-afternoon visit to Piggy's. The inside seating was quaint and compact. The bar was well supplied. Everyone ordered at the bar and seat yourself. We took the opportunity to enjoy the great weather by sitting outside. They have a huge outside seating area. Our order consisted of the $3 tacos (Beef & Chicken Fajita) plus an order of the Old School Fried Chicken Tenders with fries, gravy, and slaw. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the food. Please note: The parking situation was not optimum as it was all street parking so you may have to park a little distance and walk to the restaurant.

Piggy's is always a vibe & the food is always great. The kale & artichoke dip is my favorite, but that brisket migas as an entree will fulfill every time with enough left to take home

This was our first time going to The Piggy Kitchen for brunch. Our family met up for a birthday celebration for my hubby. We all had a fantastic time. One comment to future customers is that there really isn't any parking. You must valet park your car which was about $10 per vehicle. They are a pretty busy joint so you stand in line and order your food at the bar. It is delivered to your table via a number. Not the best when there is busy as they are as you cannot reorder drinks or anything unless you go back to the bar and stand in line again. The food is delivered to your table and be sure it's your food because the food runner did not speak English and we told her she delivered something that was not our order. Guess we got that dish for free 😀 the food menu items were great portions and very tasty. Everyone loved their plates. I would go back again now knowing how the whole restaurant and bar works. They really should consider putting an extra bar on the outside patio to avoid delays at the inside bar when they are super busy.

Super fun brunch spot on Saturday! Tons of space outside with plenty of shade. They also have a few tvs outside to watch some sports. The food came super quick (within 10 min of order) and it was great. The breakfast shot was a great pick me up and the bacon well cooked! Overall super fun with music and great atmosphere

Great Casual Brunch and Happy Hour Spot—-$20 Carafe Mimosa 🤗 can’t beat that!! Delicious food, laid back atmosphere with a DJ in the out large door patio. Various seating areas. Parking is limited, there is valet and some street parking. Some days the line gets long to order food. You may want to get someone to stand in line while finding parking.
