The Little Dipper Bar was a cool little dive bar. They have great priced drinks, such as the $2 dice roll shot. A real drinking game where you always get a$2 shot, not bad. Also some happy hour specials are $2.50 for a well drink. Well it was pretty good so I sampled a few 😉 If your free and in the Houston, downtown area. It's not a bad bar to go to. They have pinball games too.

Nice and cozy spot to have a drink and conversation with friends. I believe it's brought to you by the same people behind Poison Girl.

Showed up after RHCP concert. Bartender told friend and I that we couldn't stand at a certain part of the bar. We totally understand and respect that. We move over. We then ask her if our current location is ok given the quantity of people consumed at the bar. She told us we could go to another bar. Very rude for no reason. First time at this bar. Very unfortunate that a bartender would be so insecure. Will not go back.

Cute cozy local feeling bar. Mike is awesome! Great beard, super friendly and walked us down to the speakeasy after our whiskey shots.

Usually this place is on point with bourbon selections, but this time the first two bourbons we wanted from the menu were not available. The bartender also took their time making mixed drinks for others while we just waited without acknowledgement. This used to be my go to bar while in Downtown, but I think Reserve 101 will now be my spot.

This is a great bar to visit in downtown. Bartender was super helpful and friendly as a out of town visitor she answered all my questions. Restrooms are super clean. Bar also provides a good and calm atmosphere with a variety of drinks to choose from. Highly recommend you stop here if you are in the area

It's worth giving another chance. The bar tender was overwhelmed. We had a large party. However, we were understanding. The number of smoke breaks the single bar tender took really affected the ability to order drinks. Friday night is sort of a big deal, and to only have one bar tender is tough. Cool place. Will try again when back in town.

The strongest Old Fashioned’s around! Great atmosphere and even better bar staff. We had a great time during our staycation in Downtown Houston. Lots of fun things on the walls and good music.

Really cool joint with a great happy hour special. The bartender is fantastic and really enjoyed his service and conversation. I honestly can see myself coming back here next time I’m in Houston.

Cute, cozy , and very chill spot to enjoy a couple drinks! They have happy hour starting at 4 pm. I love their decor, and they even have a cute little Photo Booth by their entrance! Good music as well. Bartender is great! Overall loved it!

If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a drink on Main - this is the spot. Has all the charm and character you'd expect from an established downtown bar and is a much needed breath of fresh air in the constantly changing downtown bar scene. Plus they have great drink specials.

I don’t give 5 stars very often. Great spot. Excellent music and Adam the bartender (native Houstonian) gave us some great recommendations for food, music, and bars. They also have pinball and plush couches and chairs. Highly recommended!

Nostalgic and quaint. Nestled in downtown Houston. Had a Girl Scout Cookie and Whiskey pairings with a few games of pinball. Great time!

This was our first time staying in this area of Houston, and we just stumbled across this place and fell in love. The very cool Wes Anderson vibe drew us in and the super friendly bartender, Hunter, kept us there till closing time. The music was also super awesome, and Hunter was nice enough to write down the info of the owners radio show. If you like chill places, good music, delicious drinks, (I had their Paloma) and getting the 411 on eats in the city The Little Dipper is the place to go and Hunter is the bartender to go to. We even checked out his food truck recommendation today, Taqueria Jalisco, and it was ama-zing!!
