We
should
have
taken
this
as
our
first
clue
to
run
the
other
way—a
bar
full
of
dirty
glasses
and
dishes,
but
only
half
full
of
guests.
Our
meat
&
cheese
board
came
out
quickly,
as
did
our
other
app.
But
we
had
to
ask
for
silverware,
and
water,
and
for
the
old
glasses
to
be
removed.
And
every
after
sitting
and
dining
for
an
hour
or
more,
I
still
had
to
double
check
to
make
sure
I
was
picking
up
the
correct
glass,
as
the
dirties
still
remained.
Meanwhile,
staff
made
themselves
drinks,
the
manager
sat
at
the
bar
on
the
laptop,
our
bartender/server
leaned
on
the
bar,
messing
with
his
phone
(when
he
was
actually
in
sight
and
not
gone
for
lengthy
periods).
The
food
was
pretty
good,
but
the
service
needs
much
improvement
before
I’d
consider
coming
back,
which
is
a
shame,
because
the
menu
is
great,
and
the
music
is
bumping.
The
manager
saw
me
looking
around
in
bewilderment
about
all
the
tables
with
dirty
glasses
on
them,
and
said,
“We
were
really
busy
a
few
minutes
ago.
And
now
we’re
really
slow.
It’s
crazy.”
Being
slow
did
not
seem
to
make
an
apparent
difference,
because
my
date
and
I
talked
for
a
while
about
how
shocking
it
was
that
no
one
was
making
an
effort
to
bus.
Unbelievable.
And
unacceptable.
It’s
a
wonder
they’ve
managed
to
stay
in
business
this
long.
The
two
photos
taken
were
on
our
way
out—no
effort
made
by
any
of
the
staff
to
clear
them
at
any
point—like
a
snap-shot
from
the
post-apocalypse.
