This place is a breeding ground for predatory behavior. At this point, I assume the staff encourages it since they keep letting these people in. Ive had multiple acquaintances be slipped something in their drink after coming here. I understand it being a dive bar but the bartenders go out of their way to be rude and give you terrible service. I've also had incorrect charges made to my card on multiple occasions.

Overall this place is a dump. I don’t even know where to begin. The bartenders (Lea) will stare you directly in your face then make you wait another 15 minutes before taking your order. Lots of regulars are drugging girls and spiking drinks. People slash tires and break into windows. Bar fights, someone was shot and died on property. Possibly the worst dive bar in Houston and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Cool atmosphere to check out, but some of patrons are compulsive-aggressive and you cannot reason with them. Just do not strike a conversation with people you don't know. Not a good place to meet people. Overall not a friendly pub, and over the years I have been in many around H-town.

You will be waiting a good 15 minutes for a drink here. Bartenders will ignore the living daylight out of you, they actually will stare you dead in the face and then look away, knowing you are waiting for service to patronize their bar. Won’t be back. EVER.

Great bar with great music, but the bartender, who was a tall older dude, ignored me and my friend for about 5 complete minutes and attended to people that got there after us instead. Luckily, the guy with long hair, glasses and a cap was sweet and acknowledged us.

Not very clean. The bartender did not know how to make a margarita. I ordered a Cape Cod. Was horrible... I do not think they clean the gun that adds water and coke. Many drain flies circling that area above the ice.

The drinks are consistently made well but the service is spotty. Most times the servers stop checking on your table after the first round of drinks and you can’t order from the bar if you have a server assigned to your table so getting additional rounds or paying the tab becomes a hassle.

The best dive bar in the city. This has been a favoured haunt for years. It hasn’t changed. Purple building in corner of Grant and Fairview. Music by the eclectic jukebox. This is many things but boring if not one of them. The patio is always full of conversations and the junk.of past parties, ceilings adorned with bras. Walls painted by local artists there are 2 pool tables and a bar inside, the patrons are a mixed lot. Different ages different backgrounds. Patrons dressed like Ramones, suits, cocktail dresses. The drinks are cheap and strong. A great place to start the evening or just hang out

Lola’s Depot is a Houston and Montrose neighborhood institution. Punk rock metal music and crowd, mixed with college students, artists, activists and idiots. The owner Miguel cares about the community, if you’re scared go to church.

This place is raunchy. It always stinks, it attracts a creepy crowd, the bathrooms are nasty, I could go on. I give them two stars, though, because the big golden retriever was such a sweetheart. I usually think it's a bit unsanitary to have animals inside a bar/restaurant, but that boy was undeniably good.

Great vibe, pretty cheap. Bartender John seems like a boss.

It's a cool place other than the lady bartender misplacing my card and kept telling me that I never gave her a card. Until she found it. Then the guy complaining I only spent 5 dollars on the card even though the whole night I was paying with cash. Other than that cool place

i love going to lolas! like everywhere else it is what you make of it so if you're respectful of others (including bartenders) it can be a great experience. you get the best bang for your buck with drinks. traci is great and i love leah! it can get very busy but patience is a virtue. they're as quick as humanly possible, very skilled, and always take a sec to say hi :)

This is our kind of place.... While visiting my son in Houston recently, he said we HAD to go to Lola's! Bartenders were awesome, folks were friendly, and drinks were cheap. I love the quirky-ness of the entire place. You GOTTA go to Lola's!!! (I even got a shirt!!!)

Always my go to! If you don't mind small, dingy and who knows what type of scoundrel you'll meet. Great price on drinks. Kenny will give you great service!

Spent a good 20 minutes waiting on a bartender to give me a chance to order a beer, eventually gave up and left. Don't think I will come back.

Cool place. I would definitely recommend going there after you’ve had drinks In you so your senses are not as sharp as they would be if you went there earlier in the night. Great drinks and shots

Cool little dive bar with big selection of beers. Not a lot of indoor seating, but the patio was big. Also, a lot of cigarette smokers outside the night we went. Idk if that’s always the case, but just noticeably more than I’ve seen elsewhere.

Already one of my favorite dive bars in Houston. Very mixed crowd. Bartender/ server super friendly and accommodating. All outside seating now because of COVID but still holding down great vibe with good tunes.

A cheap and fun dive bar in every sense. Classic alternative and rock memorabilia torn and scattered all over the place, 2 worn pool tables, and a grungy jukebox with all the favorites. And like how can you beat 6 drinks for $16.50 in Midtown Houston.

Great dive bar if you're into that vibe/aesthetic. Drinks are SUPER affordable more than any other bar I've been to! :)
