I was walking through the Sabine Park and I looked for a nearby bars. There’s very nice bartender girl, the place looks perfect for an exaggerated rumba with friends. Just stop by and enjoy your stay.

Great little spot.. plenty of TV's and outdoor seating to watch sports. Katie provided great service and the food was excellent. Small parking lot as well to avoid the street parking.

A casual place with a nice ambience that allows kids until 8 pm. We went there for drinks and bites after a walk in the Park. We went around 6 pm and could have kids with us. Liked the beer and the ambience with fun quotes all over that’s bound to make you chuckle. They had outdoor sitting which worked great for us. Except for our server majority staff was not wearing masks though. Their egg rolls were nice.

Relaxed vibe and good burgers. You can tell that the burger patties are hand formed. We sat outside in the evening and it was nice. Also watched a group playing Jenga.

I went to this spot after work with a few co-workers. The AC was out which made the experience somewhat challenging. However, the food and drinks were good, but the bartender did not engage us in any conversation. One of my guest left a cash tip rather than placing the tip on her card. The bartender proceeding to follow her outside to inquire about a tip!

Bartender wasn’t very welcoming…like, it’s dead on a Friday night and my basic Tito’s & soda order is inconveniencing you rn? Cool - let me go back to Betelgeuse x2. Bar back was super nice though…and the inside ac was super clutch! Might try again, in like a few months, if they’re still open?

This place is awesome. It's super casual with a fun couple tending the bar. The drinks were good and I'd definitely go back to try more cocktails or just kick back with a beer. I love the outdoor seating! The best part-- dogs are allowed on their patio! 🙌🏽

This was mine and my husband's first time here and we had such a great experience! Roe was super sweet and really fun to talk to. We came at a slow time during the day so the atmosphere at the time was very chill, but omg the food was so good! I got the mango habenero flat bread (AMAZING) and my husband got the pulled pork grilled cheese with rosemary parmeson fries (also AMAZING)! Over all great experience and great food, highly recommend.

We had so much fun watching the Texans game, our pulled pork breakfast quesadilla and tots were amazing! You must come check out this great hangout spot. Always a good time.

Went here on Sunday at like 2 pm and the food was so good! I got the burger that had buffalo sauce on it and had not a single complaint about it. If you want something more seasoned when it comes to the choice of tater tots or fries definitely go with fries but if you want more of just a salty crunch with potatoes go with the tater tots!!

Found this little gem not to long ago. I say gem until tonight. It's local in my neighborhood and wanted to make this " my place " Sat down at the outside bar like I did my first time on a Tuesday night and had a great time. Today 5-12 a Friday not so great. Sat while the bar tender served 3 people that walked in after me. Waited for a little bit more to be served and walked out after she went to the 4th person that walked in after me. Gave up and left and will go find another place for me. 15 to 20 minutes to wait to even be acknowledge is way to long. Hey be right with ya goes a long way but 15 people in a bar isn't busy to me

I ordered a flat bread pizza for $10. It was about 3 inches in diameter. It looked like something you'd get for a toddler. Very disappointing. The staff was nice and the place was great for kiddie outdoor dining. Just don't get food here.

We stop here every chance we get often when doing a Pedal Party. Laid-back environment with several beers on tap. Indoor and outdoor areas to hang with friends or make new ones. We're usually a sizable party and they're always welcoming and offer fast service.

Henderson is a home away from home for my fiancé and I. Staff have become friends, bar has become a part of our relationship with memories we'll never forget. I couldn't have asked for a better place to call my favorite spot.

I absolutely love the ladies that work here. They're attentive, fast to make your shot, and can hold the best of conversations! Can't wait to go back and visit again!

Had a really sad experience here. My patty melt was extremely burnt and the jalapeno margarita was undrinkable, tasted like straight jalapeno juice. Staff was very friendly, but food and drinks were terrible.

Walked in shortly after open, we liked the rustic look. The service was not good service, I think smiles costed extra. Happy hour prices were not applied to the receipt until asked. It was added after a, “ So you you want me to refund you a $1?”. We were treated as if we were in the wrong for having an incorrect receipt. The bartender, bless her heart, seemed like she didn’t want to be there and her actions body language showed that. The food was over priced as well. Fries tasted like the freezer, flat bread was the size of a pop tart, and the mint in the mojito was wilted and dark. We were also the only customer there. Over all a rough experience and wouldn’t recommend.

I used to be a regular here before the building caught on fire during the Astros playoff run last year. Ever since I've returned after it reopened, it's just not the same. There's a strong off-putting wood smell when you walk in. I don't understand how anyone can stand it. It's not the wood smell in the lumber section at Home Depot but something much worse. Like a chemical smell mixed in with fresh cut lumber. It must be from the fire. Also the bartenders are big, angry and unfriendly. I'm not sure if it's from having to deal with the smell all day or the fact that this place loves just loves to open up all the french doors like it's 75 degrees out in Southern California. I'm not sure why the owners like to pretend the weather is nice out right now so let's open every door, window, roll-up door we can find. Well it's not. It's 105 degrees out on average. All I want is good AC, smiling faces, odorless interior and ice cold beer. Unfortunately this place just can't deliver the basics. There are too many other options out there.

Highly recommend. Consistently an enjoyable spot. Indoor and outdoor options. There are several TVs outside for game watches. Indoor is an enjoyable “nice dive bar” area. Not too many options indoor but it’s there. The food is pretty good too. Classic bar food. This is one of my favorite neighborhood spot.

Strolled into this gem recently, it felt like a fun and relaxed local spot to watch a game or have a kiki. The patio is a true selling point and the service was a 10. We never waited long for a drink and our bartender (Emery) had a fun vibe, she made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this spot.

This place is NOT dog friendly. We have a vocal dog that takes a bit to calm down and relax in a new environment. Every establishment we’ve taken her to has taken time to provide water and greet the dogs as well as us, but we were asked to leave within a few minutes of arriving - something that has NEVER happened to us in over a year of taking our dog out. To the owner, you did NOTHING to welcome our dogs. No water, treats, nothing. We were at your establishment for less than 10 minutes. Our dogs have never caused anyone any harm, they just need time to adjust. If you really want to be “dog friendly”, you need to change your attitude to how you treat dogs at your establishment. We had a GREAT time at Barkley’s in Midtown and our dogs were very happy. Glad you drove us off! We’ll be letting Houston locals know your establishment isn’t all it’s up to 🤷🏽‍♀️

Great spot to grab a cold one! Pet friendly spot with lots of seating. Snacks were decent. Can't remember her name now but the bartender was really nice and suggested some cool places for us to check out!

Honestly one of the best “chill” patio bars in the area. Super dog friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. There’s plenty of indoor seating as well. Easy access from the Buffalo Bayou trail and plenty of bike racks. Lots of big TVs for watching sports. Nice bench swings (swing at your own risk!). Funny signs on the walls offer up some gd laughs. The bartenders are often understaffed but when it’s your turn to order, they are all yours and give you excellent service. The food is consistently good for bar food and the drinks are always excellent. Highly recommend this place if you want unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere.

Outdoor/indoor bar and eatery. The outdoor area has a large Pavillion to sit under, fans to help move the air, and plenty of decor and fun signs to look at! The giant Jenga blocks helped keep my little one entertained. The bartendress that served us was really nice. The beverages and food are decently priced although I wouldn't really recommend the French toast. All in all, I'd definitely visit again!

I can’t wait until you guys are full renovated. I miss the good times and especially Mandy my favorite bartender. She is what makes the place what it is.

Giving three stars for the service. The place itself and the food were great. The bartender at the bar on 10/29 (Emory) was kind of rude and basically ignored us. I’d definitely go back and would recommend this place, but I would def stress service especially from that bar”tender”
