Great Mexican spot serving seafood dishes. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. If the weather is nice, try to take advantage of the outdoor spot, it's a nice cozy area. Always great food here. And if you want some dessert I definitely recommend the Flan.

For those who know, know that La Fisheria excels at serving up authentic flavors. Forgoing the conventional vodka-oyster pairing, at La Fisheria, chilled tequila is preferred. The grilled octopus is phenomenal. Although a little on the spicier side, it’s packed with flavor. From the bar, one is greeted with a veritable cascade of margarita choices. I recommend the Summer Margarita.

Visited La Fisheria and immediately you’re greeted with the friendly staff, as you walk in you see beautiful decor as ur escorted to your table. Staff is very knowledgeable about the menu which makes it easier to order your food!!! The food itself is top notch! Best seafood in Houston hands down!! Oysters were to die for as was the whole fried snapper!!!! You taste the freshness of the seafood and sides! You will not be disappointed!!!!!

Excellent, very cool place. Nice vibes, great service, better food!!! Can't ask for more. Definitely recommend sitting in the outside area when there's cooler weather. (It's very beautiful) When around downtown Houston, check it out!

My server Anita was very awesome and very attentive to my needs and the food was amazing. I’m not really a seafood guy but the the fish tacos was life. If your looking for a good dining experience I highly recommend you give them. A try and ask for the best server in downtown Anita

I came here to try the ceviche after reading reviews but i was Not the biggest fan. It was super spicy. Our coke had green stuff in it. After telling the bartender (who didn't believe us, we literally had to show him!) our service became slow. Anita (server) was friendly but not attentive enough for my liking. Also the bartender is the only one that prepares drinks alcoholic or not.

I wasn't that impressed, considering they've got a whole wall of accolades from different news associations. I make better rice and beans myself, and the drinks were not anything special (cocktails and regular drinks). Service was ridiculously slow. The food was ok, but I expected to be blown away. I was pretty shocked that it didn't live up to the expectations their own advertising set.

Definitely recommend this restaurant for fresh and delicious seafood! Their ceviche trio is amazing. Shrimp cocktail had large shrimp and the octopus chips are great too. Our waitress was Alejandra and she was very attentive and went above and beyond to make me a fresh cafe de olla (perfect as well). Will definitely go back when in town.

AMAZING! Atmosphere and decor is awe. I had a yummy green salsa ceviche, note that portion sizes are very generous. Shout out to Andrea, she is on point with service and making detailed cocktails behind the bar🔥💯 Would definitely go again and again

Wonderful experience at La Fisheria! Anita was knowledgeable and on point with the menu, checking in on us frequently. Both the tamale and grilled octopus with garlic were amazing. In fact we have never had such flavorful tamale before. Only downside is that the bisque wasn’t what we had hoped for it to be. Too salty and bland. Needs more lobster in it. Also, it doesn’t appear that there were too many dishes worth trying on the entire left side of the menu, according to Anita. Would be great if the restaurant can work on some of these to bring more dimension and flavor to them.

La Fisheria exceeded all expectations with not only its impeccable service but also its delectable food offerings. From the first bite to the last, each dish was a symphony of flavors and textures that delighted the palate. The seafood was fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to culinary excellence. It's clear that the kitchen team shares the same commitment to excellence as Celeste, the exceptional server who guided us through the menu with enthusiasm. Together, the exceptional service and exquisite cuisine make La Fisheria an unforgettable dining destination.

Came here with my husband for dinner. The servers and bartender were very attentive. We ordered a ceviche starter, the corn tamales, and mojarra. The food was great, reasonably priced. Our waitress Anita was super friendly, we really enjoyed eating here.

This was our first time here and I was amazed! These are the only 2 pictures I took but we also tried the octopus & a couple drinks! Victoria was our server and she made our first experience here amazing! She’s also a bartender there, she remade one of our drinks the first time because we didn’t like the original and we were not disappointed. I will definitely be coming back with more friends! Food & drinks are 10/10 The tamale just melts in your mouth & that sauce is chefs kiss!

I would 100% recommend La Fisheria - the service was wonderful and the food was absolutely divine. I got the Pulpo/Octopus and chicken quesadilla. The pulpo was cooked perfectly and so tasty! You have to get if you go. The chicken quesadilla was delicious too. The margaritas are strong and greatly price during happy hour. OH and don’t forget the Churros! I don’t have a picture because I ate them all so fast 😹 - thanks for the wonderful service and food. I hope to be back soon! Check them out!

Came here for a date night with my girlfriend and saw this restaraunt participating in the Latin Restaurant Week (ends 06/30). She was running behind so I made a reservation for 9pm. Once we arrived, I realized we didn't need the reservation as it wasn't too busy, but honestly kinda shocking because we loved the place! On arrival, we were quickly greeted by the hostess. She sat us and our waiter came soon after. We started off with the Margarita de Tamarindo and a Moscow Mule which were both great. We then ordered from the Latin Restuarant Week menu. For our first course, we got the Crema de Langosta and the Ceviche. Both were amazing but I'd have to give the bisque the upper hand. We then decided to both get the Pulpo a la Parrilla even though we try to share everything, because it just looked so good. The octopus was perfectly tender and the yucca was a nice addition. The guajillo sauce was pretty good but I think it would do better with a different sauce. Either way, I would still order it again! We finished off the night with tres leches. The dish was beautiful and mine was great. I think my gf's had a little too much liquid but no major complaints. We will gladly come back for a date night some other time!

This food here is pretty good. I had the Ceviche Natural which comes with Mahi Mahi filet cured in lime juice, onions and cucumber garnished with avocados curly radish and chilli powder. The Ostiones a La Parria is a must try. It comes with Chimchuri sauce and Oaxaca cheese! The Margarita Cucumber w/ Jalapeño were well made and are delicious, it packs a bit of heat and freshness with the jalapeños and cucumber. Mexican Candy Shot was also on point, I'd definitely come visit again.

TLDR: Delicious food with quick, friendly and effective service, happy hour drinks are strong and cheap. Six of us didn’t have a wait on Labor Day and we split a few dishes that were very tasty. The empanadas were fried nicely and I liked the tuna and steak. The octopus came out citrusy almost like ceviche and was nice, not very chewy. I really liked the tamale, huge portion with a crema sauce that helped keep the flavor and was super moist.

Absolutely amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and the food was some of the best I have had in Houston. The seafood was fresh, the flavors blended together perfectly, and the entire meal was exceptional. Can't wait to go back.

***WORTH EVERY PENNY*** Houston has some amazing seafood options, but this one is the top choice for me. The food is seasoned in a way that reminds you of grandma’s home cooking on clay pots in Mexico I still haven’t been there and tried something I didn’t like and I always feel like the experience was worth the difficulty in getting a parking spot and driving to downtown. This place has a great customer service program where you get a free margarita and points for continuing to come back. The servers are friendly, and the drinks are amazing. Truthfully I can’t say good things about this. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Went for dinner for Houston restaurant weeks. Overall a chill experience that I would certainly recommend to others. Service was excellent, the food was superb, and parking as well as being sat was very quick on this particular weekday.

If you’re craving some delicious, fresh, healthy ceviches and amazing margs, look no further. I tried the Queso Fundido, Ceviches Trio, Tres Tacos Trio, a mango marg, raspberry marg, and guava mango marg, and everything was 10/10. Service was great too! I will be coming back

We made a reservation but didn’t really need one. Our server was Anita, and she was really sweet and attentive. The spacing between the food was a little long, but overall we enjoyed the experience. These are the items we ordered, and we enjoyed most of the food. We would definitely get the crema de langosta and tamal de elote again. Aros de calamar Trio de empanadas Crema de langosta al mezcal Tamal de elote con camarones Trio de tacos Sonora rib eye

The best Mexican seafood I ever had. Food is amazing and so are the drinks. Service is kind of slow though.

Great food and customer service! Loved the lobster cream soup !!! It was phenomenal. The salmon was delicious. We came for a bday and did the menu off the Houston Restaurant Week for $55 per person. Our waitress Anita was helping us and she was great! I appreciated her recommendations

Delicious food! Went here tonight for dinner as my husband was craving seafood. We got the raw oysters for our appetizer and it was really the beginning of an adventure for our tastebuds. Surprisingly the soy sauce, cucumber, lime flavor really did elevate the gulf coast flavor of the oysters. My husband enjoyed his Tuna Steak, which satisfied his hunger. And I ordered the trio de tacos. A little spicy for me but it did not ruin the dish. This is a place where we’d love to come back to. Yum, thank you again, Chef!!

Best green salsa I’ve ever had. We enjoyed all three. I Had fish taco trio for entree. Husband only ate ceviche trio. My kids only ate fries and chicken fingers. We found it on tik tok and decided to check it out before driving back home. I will definitely be coming back, and try different items on the menu.

We have had many dishes here and everything is so good. This is not your normal Mexican restaurant. Everything from the salsa to the tamales, empanadas and tacos are so gourmet. Reminds me of high end dining in Mexico City. Service from all the gals are excellent too. Ask for Anna or Ariana but they are all good. Oh one last thought, the cocktails especially the various margaritas are excellent. Try the margarita tamarindo or cucumber jalapeño margarita- awesome stuff. Enjoy. You won’t regret. PS - best churros in town!

I love this place so much! They have a fantastic happy hour, excellent service, and a wonderful variety of cocktails and food. Everything I've ever ordered here has been fresh and delicious. Their grilled oysters are a particularly special treat.
