Me and my wife ended up at this establishment in order to surprise my father for his birthday. Ronnie and Caesar made sure our experience was absolutely memorable. The food was delicious! The burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. The wings had a nice crisp on the skin while the meat was tender and moist. I actually tried oysters for the first time, spectacular! Lemon Garlic grilled oysters, stole the night. A clean facility with an amazing staff, and excellent management. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did that night. We will be back, soon!

Lovely restaurant in the downtown area!! The grilled oysters were a fav! Will definitely be coming back for that. The food entree’s were ok, the service was good but could be better! Will definitely return.

Wine selection is great. The meat and cheese is well worth the visit…. The service is a bit slow, both my wife’s plate and mine came out over cooked and veggies were cold. Seems like it was sitting in the window for a bit. I will come back but not for dinner

Came here for a early afternoon lunch. This place is sooo cute and definitely a vibe. Cellar7 is easily a place for any celebration ( Baby shower, bridal shower, happy hour) the long tables work great. Cesar and Josh took great care of us. My favorite appetizer was the Kale and Spinach Artichoke dip - the chips are homemade and delicious. I felt the Brussel Sprouts needed more seasoning and I didn’t love them. And y’all know I order Brussel Sprouts EVERY TIME they are on the menu. The happy hour had Brussel Sprouts, the truffle fries and the Kale Spinach and Artichoke dip. Their happy hour is VERY Reasonable and easy to pick some great appetizers and drinks. I would definitely recommend this spot. Parking is street parking and nearby parking garages just FYI.

Worst birthday ever. I booked my reservation here because the surrounding restaurants were full. Now I know why it’s so empty. Food- The food is horrible! One of my guests bit into her crab cake and it was still cold in the middle. The pork chop tasted like cardboard and the braised beef tasted like it was microwaved. All the dishes lacked any substantial taste or seasoning. Service- We were one of the only tables and the service was still terrible. Our party was a large one, so the waiter’s gratuity was added to checks. It showed in his attitude and most of the time we had to have someone go find him. He constantly forgot things and never put in the order for several of our items. His response was, “My bad.” So unprofessional. The ambiance - This was the only thing they got right. I’ll never EVER go here again but at least it was pretty. My birthday dinner was completely ruined. If you’re looking for a great restaurant with good food and excellent service, this is NOT it.

very very very disappointed. i think they may be under new ownership as our waiter told us it was a soft opening. there was one person working and he was incredibly rude. waited so long to be acknowledged and then my food came out completely raw. the service was a prime of example of exactly what not to do. also the bartender did not seem experienced what’s so ever. definitely stay away until this place has their act together.

Went to this spot for an after work happy hour event and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was superb (Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and the quinoa bowl) and I had an amazing mocktail 🤩 the service was fantastic. Great ambience!

Really enjoyed our brunch here Sunday! Our server, Caesar, was incredibly nice and attentive. The manager, Wassim, was also very nice and welcoming. The food tasted fantastic and was a very large portion, which sho ked both me and my girlfriend! I really have to hand it to them. Thank you both so much!

Dining at District 7 & Cellar 7 is an AMAZING and FUN dining experience! The ambiance is very welcoming, the mini-store is charming, and the entire staff including servers and chefs are so friendly. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable of the menu and make great recommendations. I travel to Houston weekly and make it a point to dine at D7 at least 3-4 times a week. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant 😊

This was a neat downtown restaurant and the ambiance was lovely. The menu had a broad selection of flavors. The crispy brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly and the the chipotle chicken was delicious, not too spicy but so flavorful. Portion sizes were reasonable and they weren't over priced. Our server was very attentive but not overly so which made our dinner relaxing before we headed to the theater.

Lovely little spot in Downtown Houston for a nice brunch and excellent cocktails. Gave their chocolate bitters old fashioned a try and it was everything I hoped for given the description. The food itself could have used a bit more seasoning and overall flavor but it wasn't a meal I regret. Would come back for a cocktail or two in the future.

I went here with my best friend and we shared some appetizers and desserts. I have been here before and the entrees I have ordered taste delicious. I definitely recommend coming here, the staff offer excellent service. You also get free parking at 601 Travis st parking garage, just tell your server!

My husband, son, and I went here for the first time for Sunday brunch. We found the decor to be inviting and we sat in a comfortable booth. We ordered the chicken fried chicken to share and the Angus burger. Everything was simply delicious. We also got the macaroni and cheese and that was *chef's kiss*. The music was also great. All in all, awesome experience. My son said it should be called "Stellar 7" instead of Cellar 7. Highly recommend!

Walked in while empty on a Saturday afternoon the team was welcoming, but bar/kitchen didn’t communicate well. The drinks we grabbed were excellent. Pinky Pinky 16 and Lavender Martini. We ordered a couple food items as everything on the menu sounded delicious. After waiting about 25 minutes or so. The hushpuppies came out, but they were very dry. The kale they were on top of was absolutely delicious. They missed our grilled oysters order, but the team didn’t communicate that or ask if we still wanted them. We waited another 5-10 minutes and they came out wrong. But having finished our drinks we didn’t want anything else we just wanted to leave. Would recommend for a beverage, but our food experience wasn’t worth trying again.

Good vibe, eclectic and mid century decor, unique drinks and great food! We had the arancini mushroom balls appetizer, lemon drop martini and old fashioned.

Dropped in one whim.and pleasantly surprised. Nigel, the bartender, was professional, attentive, friendly. Made me a couple of his favorite drinks. You gotta try the blood orange & peach margarita! He seems like a great person and stff member! Started with the brussels appetizers. Deep fried...cooked well but not enough balsamic sauce and the sliced almonds were an afterthought. Pork Osso Bucco was ridiculous. I Gen l touched the meat and it fell off the bone. While the risotto could have been cooked for another 1-2 minutes, the flavor was absolutely on point. Asparagus was cooked fuen but a little bland.

Was walking down Main Street and saw the restaurant and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Food was amazing, one of the best burgers we’ve eaten. Hand squeezed lemonade was delicious. Service was amazing! If I’m ever in Houston again, I will definitely go again!

We had a small party here and it was wonderful! Downtown atmosphere, chic interior, excellent waitstaff, and yummy bites. Wasim and his team were wonderful. The happy hour is a great value and the night is a wonderful memory!! Places like this make you excited to be in downtown Houston.

I dined at the bar and Gabby was my server, she was super friendly and the food was great! I've already been back 2 more times and will continue dining here as I work my way through the menu. I would definitely suggest dining here.

What a lovely place. Our server/bartender was excellent and personable. The food was flavorful and a bit surprising. The broccolini was really great and the short rib pappardelle was unreal. Make sure you get a bit with the tomato and basil. Such an open place with a great patio!

Love love love. Me and some girlfriends stumbled upon this place last night and the atmosphere was wonderful. Food was amazing, we tried a few different things from the small bites menu. The bartender, Sarah, was FANTASTIC. She had the cutest persona, and made me and my girlfriends custom cocktails that were to die for. We’re going back again tonight.

This is a great place in every possible way! We set up a small party of 25 for a couple's bridal shower, and everything worked out perfectly. The staff is excellent, and the atmosphere is extremely well done allowing for both formal and business casual groups. They have a very good selection of wine & beer, as well as mixed drinks if desired, and the food we chose for a buffet style setting was excellent as well. A special thanks to Michelle that set it all up for us!
