If you want to see pretty girls! If you want to hear really loud Mexican / Hispanic music, then this is the place! I had chicken fajita tacos and they were terrific. The atmosphere was very bar-like, fun, loud and lots of TVs for sports watching. Highly recommend it!

Great Wings... If my Happy Hour Margarita on the Rocks was more than mix & ice, I'd give this spot 5 stars... The waitresses were Fast & Frendly; Emily recommended a couple menu items that were delicious... After reading some of the reviews I was hoping it wasn't too loud & annoying... It wasn't at all... And I appreciated the variation of music played... cool spot!!!

This is my first time going to a Chulas Bar & Grill. The overall dining area and bar were clean. The Men's restroom was not very clean, but I do consider that the customers are drinking alcoholic beverages and constantly using the urinals. I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada & chicken tenders with onion rings. To drink I ordered a Dos Equis Michelada with Tajin on the rim of the mug. All was above average. My Server was great and checked up on me constantly. TVs throughout the dining area and bar to view any sporting event. They even had TVs in the men's restroom which I've never seen before. I was told by my Server that if you come to Chulas during a PPV only sporting event, they will charge a cover from $7 - $15 depending on the popularity of the event.

I was a little uncomfortable by the young manager with a beard. I got there around 4pm and the hostess said to seat down anywhere in. While I was eating and couple of beers later the manager told me it was going to be 10 dollars cover. Or I can leave. He was somewhat polite at that moment. I told him that it'd be nice if I was told at the door by the hostess. Manager said that if they tell people that early (4ish pm) some people would leave. My question is. Is it legal to let clients in an establishment and tell them to pay cover after they order couple of beers? Service, food, prices and location is great. I normally don't complain in my reviews.

Food was bland. Waitress got my order incorrect but to be fair, offered to make it right. Margarita was basic. Servers were friendly but not enough to come back for everything else that was lacking. What a shame.

I always love going here for wings and beer. The wait staff is very friendly and the wings are very tasty. BOGO on Tuesdays also helps!

I was going to try it out till the guard at the entrance started acting like a total tool. I don't need that kind of response. I was simply asking general questions about the place. No need to be rude. I left didn't even go in. No wonder they need a rent a cop.

Okay food, good drinks but very very expensive. Stayed at the hotel next door. Didn't appreciate being denied entry and treated like a criminal by the police officer at the door because I had a bottled water. Honestly atmosphere felt like a strip club. Also FYI none of the servers spoke any English so we struggled ordering. I will say thought that they were very nice and tried there best.. If I visit Houston again I'd stay elsewhere with a more welcoming restaurant environment.

Was working close by came in to have a beer and I was denied because my co worker had a tattoo. Looks like they have a choose group of audience, which I did when I turn around every body looked like a blue collar audience . To me this is discrimination and will be put to the attention of superiors. Everybody should be able to enjoy a beer . We are not gang members and work for a living . The waitress had tattoos, the people in the kitchen have tattoos. The managers have tattoos. And the guy in that back had drinking his boss had a tattoo on his face . Will not come back to this place.

I was here with some friends and I must say it's always fun coming here, especially during the happy hour. The service is always great, the beers are cold, great and very delicious foods and the scenery is outstanding. The atmosphere is great here and the staff are always very on point here.It's a great place to converge with friends. A good place to eat and watch the games as well. Brace up for the rush during peak periods and be ready to get your drinks yourself :)

Beer tower is a must including the michelada. Ordered the appetizer which really hit the spot.

They ask for Id when i just want to eat there. Is not a club, they should ask id when you order a beer not on the entrance

Andrea completely jacked up my order. I ordered rum and coke and a bacon cheeseburger. She rung me up for a double bacon cheeseburger and crown and coke. That’s an extra $6 for the double meat. Then that’s an extra $10 per drink for the watered down crown. Won’t be back here again. The manager was rude and his response “did you drink it?” Of course I drank what she brought me. It was watered down so I figured it was bottom shelf well, so of course it didn’t taste great. But then to insult me and tell me I ordered a crown and coke. That’s beyond disrespectful.

The food was great. The girls were cute. Our server was lovely and had gave us amazing views. Tipped her accordingly. The drinks were overhyped, overpriced, and watered down. I think I've gotten more drunk at a Chuck E Cheese's than this place. Don't spend your money on the drinks here.

Experience is always great, the shawties stay ready outchea uknowmsayin, you get you a tower for you and the homies and they pour it up for you ya tu sabe, even in the buckets, friendly environment friendly management definitely recommend if you trying to catch up with some friends or trying to catch the game.

Great sports bar! Food is mediocre, but the atmosphere is great.

Be forewarned. No one under 21 allowed at certain times of the evening. ID and bags checked at the door. Security on deck. Great grilled chicken. Half a bird put me to sleep. Green tea shot is just enough. Tons of televisions throughout the bar. Tried the shrimp scampi (sent back). Everything else was great.
