Excellent fairly priced cocktails and wonderful atmosphere. Our wait for a table of 6 was very quick, we had a nice server, and enjoyed the food. Some favorite cocktails were Intelle, Accident Count, and Train Your Granny. There are also great weekday deals, I will be returning for pasta on Tuesdays! The fries were great, and come with good sauce. The Party Melt was delicious but a little salty.

You want a place with a positive and young atmosphere? Come here! The drinks are marvelous, specially the Irish coffee and the draft beers... and the pancakes are one of the best we've tried. Will definitely be back again for a weekend brunch!

Came in during lunch time to try the famous party melt. The place wasn’t busy at all. The service is great here and the music playing was awesome. The melt itself was ok. It was pretty salty and the meat wasn’t spectacular. I was expecting more than just bar food but it ended up being just that. The toast used for the melt was pretty good tho. Definitely come for the bar and service but maybe not the food

We really liked this bar! All seating is first come first serve - nice bar and outside patio (handy if with a dog). Baristas can mix good cocktails too! People with good vibes! Gonna try the food Next time

Interesting selection of cocktails. I went with a traditional margarita and the guava margarita. I really wanted to try the smoked jalapeno margarita but it they were sold out. The Guava was a sweet refreshing alternative. We shared the fajitas, only 3 tortillas came with the fish so plan on ordering more if you're sharing. The queso is standard queso but whatever pepita oil they add really kicks the flavor up. Inside is small and loud. Outside is like hanging out in your back yard. Lucky that we are in walking distance but there is plenty of parking.

The atmosphere of this place is wonderful and the cocktails are fairly priced and excellent. Despite being a group of six, our wait for a table was very quick and our server was nice. We enjoyed the food, especially the fries which came with good sauce. Some of our favorite cocktails were Intelle, Accident Count, and Train Your Granny. They also offer great weekday deals, including pasta on Tuesdays. Although the Party Melt was a bit salty, overall it was delicious. I definitely plan on returning.

Fantastic drink called “Long Story Story” (gin martini w/ passion fruit) that was perfectly balanced and not sweet. We got the beets, fried pickles and octopus & shishito peppers to start. All were great but the beets were perfect on a hot day. I got the Korean Chopped Salad and it was delicious.

I’ve been coming here on and off for years and it never disappoints. Great food, great drinks, great customer care and great atmosphere. The drink and food menus change over time so there’s always something new to try out.

Yea I heard great things about this place. I came for brunch on Saturday. The atmosphere is laid back. I ordered the pancakes with a side of hash browns. It took awhile for the food to come out so be prepared to wait longer than most places in the area. They brought out the pancakes, which were flavorful, but I guess the hash browns got lost in the back. I was about finished with the pancakes by the time the hash browns came out. The hash browns were terrible, overdone, EXTREMELY greasy! I took one bite and that was enough. As a cook, I don’t see how you think that’s acceptable to bring out to anyone. The price for what you get is a little high. I guess better luck tomorrow is a true statement

My husband and I love to go around Houston trying different bars and restaurants. This is by far our favorite place that we keep coming back to. The happy hour is the best in Houston by far so make sure to drop by Monday - Friday from 2-5. They also have an amazing brunch, my husband loves their continental breakfast cocktail and makes sure to order it every time. Their burger is to die for and is the best I have had anywhere, their drinks are top notch, and this continues to be one of our favorite Houston haunts. I’d also like to mention that their service is top tier. We always feel welcome and taken care of each time we come by. Thank you for your amazing service! I always recommend this place highly to friends and family!

I love this place because it’s consistently great food, great drinks, great service, and has a dog friendly patio. It’s well known that the bars on Yale St. have a heavy pour and their cocktails are always on point, but not everywhere is dog friendly. My fave meal here is the Party Melt, a fun take on the patty melt with the crust cut off the bread, the bread grilled with mustard on the outside of the sandwich, a juicy ground beef patty smothered with cheese, grilled onions, and a sauce made from ketchup and mayo. We also got the Hot Dog Sandwich with crusts cut off the bread and hot dogs covered in grilled red onions and Dijon mustard. The hot dogs were grilled a little too long. The French fries were crispy and hot, but could use a little less salt. I love my fries salty, but my wife and I were both brushing off salt to eat them. I got my two favorite drinks, Long Story Short — a gin based cocktail with passion fruit and a slice of dehydrated lemon, and a Cold Fashioned — a typical old fashioned, but with piloncillo for sweetness, orange peel, and served in a Tom Collins glass with ice. They were perfect for a sunny, but breezy fall day in Houston. I’ve always sat on the patio or under the awning outside, so I can’t speak to what it’s like inside but there’s a full bar inside and tables you can sit at. The bathrooms are clean with two individual room stalls and they have a QR menu or you can Google it. Better Luck Tomorrow is one of those Houston places that stays on your list of permanent faves.

The food menu and cocktail menu is very different. There's a bit of variety though and a lot of unique items. I had the Romaine salad with the chicken breast. The miso-ginger dressing was so delicious and I love the addition of the cilantro. For drinks, I had the Accident Count cocktail. Such a smooth and tasty drink, it's line juice! The only con is that it's a bit pricey and the menu is small for dinner. There is parking onsite and a lot of outdoor seating.

Very limited food menu. Didn't get any drinks, but they seemed to be very popular and very pretty. Great weekday deals of half off all alcohol during happy hour I believe, so I wouldn't mind coming back for that. Went for the brunch and got the breakfast sandwich, pistachio toast, and braised chickpeas. The pistachio toast was good, but the garlic bread-like taste of the bread was an interesting pairing with the nut spread and honey. Still better flavor compared to the breakfast sandwich which was insanely salty. We were unable to finish that, but the sandwich was a good size with very salty pork, eggs, and cheese. The chickpeas were a light dish, reminiscent of a light Thai soup. I wasn't quite sure if it was a stew or a soup, but it was comforting

Came here for pre dinner drinks. Very cool for a neighborhood spot. It was a bit of a wait and parking was a little tight but the drinks made up for that. Nice weekend or happy hour spot

Great casual in town place. Outstanding food quality. Good outdoor seating area. The parking lot is a little tricky and small to navigate. I had an AMAZING burger…and I mean it was that good. Small and fresh menu (whipped chicken liver pate was great with fries).

My wife and I stopped in this evening for a drink, and a quick bite and we were thoroughly impressed. Adam, the bartender took great care of us and the rest of the staff were really awesome.

The meatball small plate, the crudo, okra marsala, honey chicken sandwich, and salmon steak frites were all very delicious! As for drinks, we got one of the cocktails that had oolong gin and the spicy creamy avocado margarita and they both were also delicious! Highly recommend this place for a weekend brunch, but they also have different menu for the weekday.

Good patio spot with decent drinks and apps. The service was a bit infrequent and slow so had to wait for more drink orders a bit long.

I have a new favorite salad: the Green Goddess with grilled chicken. Crazy good. I also liked the brussel sprouts. The drinks were gorgeously presented.

Very cool spot to come have a few drinks. There is quite a bit of parking on the property on the side and around the back. We had a few margaritas that were great. The spicy margarita was really good and actually had a bit of a kick to it. They do have some food but this time we only had some French fries which were hot and crispy. The prices are reasonable as well. You can sit anywhere you like but you have to order at the bar. When your drinks are ready they'll yell out your name from the bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a few TV's. We actually watched part of an Astros game here and the TVs were in view from most seats. Put this place on your list of bars to visit!

I visited this place for the first time recently and I really liked it. Super friendly and helpful staff. The Italian beef sandwich was great and the Amethyst Hour cocktail was super refreshing on a hot summer day. I'll definitely be back.

Drinks were awesome, had a Asian inspired drink with vodka, condensed milk, pandas and coconut, which was awesome. The patty melt was delicious and flavorful, even though a bit oily. I also liked the miso and pork noodles a lot, would definitely come back to try more different foods and drinks here!

A cool, casual spot! Cocktail menu is delicious, don't be scared to try something interesting like the yellow bell pepper margarita (which was amazing). The octopus was soooo good. Our bartender Eric was fun, and Drew was knowledgeable about every cocktail and spirit we ordered. Definitely coming back.

Wonderful food, wonderful service and a spectacular atmosphere. Had a local friend take me to one of their favorite restaurants, I can tell why now. The burger was juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly. Onion rings were crisp and had just the right amount of breading. What can you say about grilled cheese but yum? Everything was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning and served promptly and hot.

I'm officially in love with this place. I took myself to a brunch date and not only was I greeted with super friendly staff.. the food came out fast and exceeded my expectations. Pork steak and eggs.. amazing and I got two double yolks (I don't even mind if it was on purpose or I was lucky it just made my day!) And the drinks! I had the long story short, small aromatic cocktail with a kick - lovely and the sillyngapore sling - absolutely delicious and refreshing. The inside and patio are cute and we had perfect weather today so it made everything that much better.

This immediately became one of my favorite spots in the country. I can't praise this place enough. From the bartender who actually learned my name, and remembered it the next week, to the fantastic food and killer drinks, and even the gnarly lighting and design, this place really, truly has it all and makes Houston heights just that much better. It is a must-visit if you're in the area. Trust me.

Small place with outdoor seating. Fantastic food, captivating cocktails, and spectacular service. Get the Spa Day if you want something refreshing.

Great cocktail & mocktail program. Service is always friendly & professional. Pasta night (Tuesday) gets a well deserved crowd. Menu specials by chef Michael & chef Justin are sometimes quite whimsical (and delicious)

I thoroughly enjoyed the hot chicken and eggs. Patio was great. The covered tables are a little small for the amount of people they want to sit at a time. Great non-alcoholic options too!
