I guess this place is best suited for die hard ramen noodle fans who love paying more for ambiance vs great food. Not one dish won me over and the flavor was lacking compared to similar venues. Ingredients were fresh and all dishes brought to table piping hot. The menu is rather limited...mostly pork, then seafood, few chicken or vegan options and no beef. Just same ingredients interchanged different ways to create the same dish in chicken or vegetable broth. The plating makes great pics though and customer service was great. Happy hour prices/menu is weak. Be prepared to spend $20pp or simply choose a better meal for your bucks.

May 2021. Tried this place for the very first time a couple of months ago after looking at all the positive reviews, and I must say, this place not only filled my tummy, but also filled my heart. One of the best ramens I’ve had in a very long time! I had the spicy chicken ramen and it was perfectly cooked. The broth was yum, the chicken was soft and the flavors were rich. The restaurant has a cool vibe. The service was quick and the food was fresh. There’s plenty of parking space around and our waiter was kind and knowledgeable. There’s a lot of seating area inside and everything was clean and spacious. My experience was great and I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting to try a good portion of ramen.

Food is always consistent and fresh. I absolutely love the vegetarian options here! This location has Wonderful staff that always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and check in on you often. Look forward to eating here soon.

We went for Ramen on a Sunday for lunch and I am happy with our restaurant choice. Ramen was great and so was the service. The restaurant is nice and a good size with plenty of booths and tables. We sat outside and our server Raymond was great. We have zero complaints, great meal and great service!

Great atmosphere and service. Friendly and attentive staff. Food is great, and being the best is subjective. I would return here. On a Monday night, it wasn't busy at all. Family enjoyed!

It was my 1st time eating Ramen and I didn't know what to expect. The food was good and customer service was impeccable! Also went during happy hour which was coincidence so that's a plus. Only thing is that seating is limited.

Possibly the best Ramen place in Katy! They have several types of broth to go with your Ramen noodles, as well as an excellent selection of toppings and sides! We thoroughly enjoyed the food. It's also a great place for takeout! They package your broth and noodles separately so you do not end up with soggy ramen! Give them a try 😀

Food and service were really good. I substituted rice for quinoa in my Soboro bowl and it was delicious. Cocktails were good but tiny for the price.

Today, my wife and I visited JINYA RAMEN BAR and had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere and the aroma of delicious ramen wafting through the air. My server, Thomas, was an absolute delight. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and helped me navigate through the many delicious options. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout my entire visit, making sure that my every need was met and that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. And the food? It was absolutely delicious! The ramen was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were out of this world. I particularly loved the rich broth and the perfectly cooked noodles. Overall, I can not recommend JINYA RAMEN BAR enough. If you're looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming and friendly environment, this is the place to be. And if you're lucky enough to have Thomas as your server, you're in for a treat. Thy the server was patient and thoroughly explained the menu options for us as it was our first time in the establishment. He also gave wonderful recommendations for whatever type of ramen my tummy might want. The atmosphere is chill and comfortable. The food was VERY good.

Craved Ramen, so i googled for the best Ramen in Katy and wasn’t disappointed at all. The ambiance is cozy and chill. The staff were caring, nice and professional, the food was super delicious. Ordered twice the pork dumplings. Would definitely recommend it for food tasters and sophisticated tastes.

Ive been going to Jinya for years. Vegas and Cali. Always the same with quality and service. Came with family. We couldnt hear eachother or the waiter. No need for it to be so LOUD in there. It gets worst in the bathroom! Why? Makes no sense. I will get take out next time. Horrible place to eat if you want to have a conversation. Do yourself a favor and search “loud” under reviews and see how many people hate it. Had shrimp wonton ramen, vegan harvest ramen. Great server. Will be going to other locations.

My fiance and I come here all of the time and, although the food and service are always amazing, today was absolutely exceptional! Gabby was the absolute SWEETEST and the food was especially good today!

This place gets an easy five stars. I had a very solid impression walking in to the venue. Out of all the restaurants I have reviewed, this is definitely the best atmosphere I’ve seen. Beautiful interior, clean and stylish bathrooms, and an open kitchen in the back where they make the food in front of you. The music is club music, and my only complaint about the atmosphere is that the music was too loud and I had to shout to talk to the waitress. However, as this is a bar I felt it was unfair to take a star off atmosphere for this reason. I was picking up a to go order to eat at home, so I didn’t stay here long. From what I did experience, the waitress was very nice and polite, and extended that same cordiality to other customers. I ordered the vegan red fire opal ramen & jalapeño butter corn. One thing to clarify: the prices on google are not accurate with the price I paid. It was actually cheaper compared to google price; I paid 16.50 for ramen while google price is 19.75 and paid 6.50 when google price is 8.50 for the corn. Taking the food back home, I first opened my ramen. As the picture shows, the presentation was beautiful. The chili thread made a strong visual impact on the toppings, and the arrangement was very appetizing. I didn’t put a picture of the broth and toppings together as it didn’t put the presentation justice. The ramen itself was a 7/10 (my ratings system is at the bottom). The flavors were delicious, and the toppings complemented the broth wonderfully. The thick noodles also were a necessity as it gave the ramen some heaviness and I was full after I finished the bowl. The only criticism I have was that the tofu was too soft; I think a firmer tofu would have elevated the dish to an 8 or 9. Next was the jalapeño corn. It was absolutely delicious, a 9/10. The corn was nice and sweet, the jalapeños gave a nice kick after the initial sweetness and the onions gave the corn a more complex flavor profile without taking away from the experience. The soy butter was a stroke of genius; it made the corn perfectly salted and kept me coming back for more for another bite. The only criticisms I had were that I think the dish could use some red pepper flakes, not enough to change the flavor but just for presentation so that there is a little bit of red. The second criticism was that the corn was too buttered; I didn’t mind as I loved the butter but it made the dish too heavy. My fiance and I came in this evening and enjoyed it very much! We always love coming to this location. The service and food is always amazing, cleanliness and atmosphere of the restaurant just as amazing. Gabby was our server and she was amazing as well! Very sweet and outstanding customer service. She made our night!

Came for lunch, greeted quickly. We sat down and Gabby was our waitress. We ordered Shrimp Wonton Ramen and Chicken Ramen. Food was good but the service was amazing. Would come back again! Ask for Gabby, awesome service

We were greeted at the door very friendly like. Chuy our server took excellent care of us. He was training Carlos and Carlos did an excellent job. Both of them were on point. It was obvious we were in a bit of a hurry so they got our food out to us almost immediately. We had the spicy chicken Ramen and it was outstanding. Towards the end of our meal, the manager stopped by, asked us how everything was and asked if she could help us out with anything. I could not have been more impressed with the service. I will definitely be back! They even excepted our Hawaiian money! j/k

First the atmosphere - if I was out on a Friday night at a club,this would be understandable. It's was so dark we had to use the light on our phones to see the menu. And the music was so loud we couldn't talk. Having music at a restaurant is great but you shouldn't have to tell to talk to the person across a small table in front of you. The darkness, you couldn't see what was in your ramen. Part of the appeal of a meal is the appearance, I have no idea how the plating was, just could see anything. The food- the best thing was the seasoned egg, sadly. I could go to the grocery store and buy a $2 cup ramen, and it would be better. For that price point, that should be awesome. Be our server was good, friendly and attentive. I think we will go elsewhere next time.

Came by to eat at Jinya while visiting some old friends. Aaron was serving me at the bar and he did an amazing job serving me. I got an impossible bun and the chef special Kara-men. It was really good and a great ease to my day after a week of nonstop work.

Love all branches of Jinya around Houston! Has great Vegan and vegetarian options. This place is meant for die hard Ramen bowl fans. Food tastes fresh and authentic. I had the Vegan Tsunami Pearl and never fails to impress.

Hands down our go to ramen spot in Htown. Their spicy creamy vegan ramen is a 10/10 consistently. We’ve dined in here countless times. A couple years ago they introduced new veg/vegan ramen and bowl options. Have gotten around to trying them all and they are all good - but the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen is top (it’s so good that even non-vegetarian friends choose it). You can request a spicy sauce on the side too if you need more fire in your bowl. Great appetisers, edamame, chicken karrage, etc. Decent desserts but we only ever tried the pannacotta once, have always been too full from the ramen otherwise.

this place never disappoints regardless of location. Chef special is always on point. Brussel sprouts tempuras are put of this world. Consider swapping the noodles to the middle class fancy ones ( iykwim )

Wow, just wow. From the moment you see this place which is very easy, you're going to have a doodle meal. Firstly the employee who seated me was very friendly (Toan) and my server (Christine) was just as good. Now the food REALLY impressed me big time. I got the "Spicy Chicken Ramen" it wasn't too spicy but enough to know the spice was there as well as a "Jinya Bun" which tasted so good. Will return if I can.

I’ve been to this location two times and both have been great. The ramen is delicious! My personal favorite is the Tonkotsu Black. Their cocktails are pretty good too, if you like sweet drinks. The other hidden gem are the Pork Buns. They are fantastic and so soft. Definitely recommend this place. Also, the kids meal is a hell of a deal because it allows for kids to explore different flavors while also having more typical options included.

Lana our server was very nice. The ramen was very rich and tasty. We had the flying harvest and spicy chicken.

I been To several ramen place and Jinya is the best ramen place ever. Very clean, great service and foods were delicious. If you are first time in this restaurant I recommend jinya black tonkotsu ramen and takoyaki

Had the Tonkotsu ramen with gyoza. Gyoza was juicy, one of them squirted on my phone when I bited into it. Ramen was delicious, the broth is amazing, along with great soft boiled egg and pork. Only negative is that the noodle was the thin and soft ones that felt more common in Chinese or Taiwan noodle dishes, not the chewy thicker noodle that I love in ramen. Would come again.

Wonderful authentic Japanese Ramen! I love the pork stickers and the shrimp in spicy mayo for appetizers. The shrimp wonton ramen is a wonderful entree. The atmosphere is very nice.

I love ordering the vegan rice bowl. The waiters have always been nice and attentive. Remember that you can ask for a side of seasoning sauce or spicy sauce!
