First
time
to
this
establishment.
I
was
impressed
with
the
space
and
the
seating
options.
They
have
booths
with
dividers
that
give
you
privacy,
long
tables
to
accommodate
6-8
people,
regular
tables
and
chairs,
and
they
also
have
a
nice
patio
along
the
exterior
of
the
restaurant.
Our
server
was
very
attentive
and
friendly.
Our
glasses
were
never
empty.
I
had
the
wedge
salad
and
the
gumbo.
Both
were
very
good.
The
wedge
salad
looked
more
like
a
half
head
of
lettuce
verses
a
wedge;
the
portion
was
big.
It
was
topped
with
candied
pecans,
bacon
and
sliced
cherry
tomatoes.
I
opted
for
no
red
onion.
I
also
am
not
a
blue
cheese
fan,
so
I
altered
mine:
no
blue
cheese
crumbles,
no
blue
cheese
dressing,
substitute
with
jalapeno
ranch
instead.
The
gumbo
was
the
perfect
temperature
with
a
nice
piece
of
garlic
bread.
It
is
a
little
spicy,
but
I
enjoyed
it.
My
meal
was
very
filling
and
tasted
great!
They
have
a
full
menu,
so
I
will
return
to
try
more
items.
The
restaurant
was
clean
and
the
bathrooms
well-tended.
They
have
a
room
called
the
“Music
Room”.
Loving
music
as
I
do,
I
peeked
in
and
fond
out
if
is
a
private
room
for
parties.
I
found
out
later,
it
is
the
only
room
they
don’t
play
music
in,
so
maybe
they
should
change
the
name.
Speaking
of
music,
the
music
they
play
in
the
common
areas
is
great.
Lots
of
80’s
and
light
rock.
Complimentary
valet
service
is
available.
Don’t
forget
to
tip.
Regarding
the
valet,
my
only
suggestion
would
be
for
them
to
tell
the
valet
service
to
please
not
put
their
hands
on
the
exterior
windows
of
the
cars.
Both
my
car
and
my
friend’s
car
had
a
palm
print
on
the
driver
side
window.
This
is
very
annoying
especially
if
you
just
had
your
vehicle
detailed.
I
am
not
discrediting
State
Fare
for
this
and
wouldn’t
dock
them
a
star
in
my
review,
but
it
would
be
appreciated
if
something
was
mentioned.
For
an
extra
treat,
visit
during
the
holidays.
The
Memorial
City
“Gateway”
is
nicely
lit
with
pretty
Christmas
lights.
