I came in a Monday night, pretty much empty. Sited at the bar. The bar tender took her time to approach us, she was talking to some friends across the bar. We asked for a beer and then when we where ready to order she was gone form the bar. There were actually two girls as bartenders and both were gone. We asked the bar back to put it in but he told us he was not a bartender but he’ll let them know. Later on when they came back, some famous guy seated at the bar and they were focused on that. When we asked how long would it take for our food to come out, they said they didn’t have an order form us, I get it’s not the bar backs job at all but since he told us he was going to let them know we where chilling about it. Anyway in the order we also asked for a sangria and actually never got it, we asked what happened with it after the food came and she was like oh I told the other bartender to do it but do you want me to do it? And we just didn’t want it at this point. The food was amazing as always, I’ve been here a couple times and basically always get the same thing, I love it. The service has never been amazing but that night was terrible. The only time I’ve been served great here was also at the bar with a girl long brown hair who speaks Spanish. I’m a bartender and server so I’m usually very patient, but the place was basically empty and we had a hard time trying to get their attention (when they were in the bar) the food is great but please get better service

Food was good. Skinny margarita was all lime juice, and when I asked to have it reviewed, the bar tender took the drink and asked the person who made it if they put tequila in it. He then brought it back and said the person who made it said she put the tequila in it. I then said, ok well then let’s add another shot. He took the drink and brought it back and said he added a shot. It still tasted like lime juice. No alcohol at all. Unfortunately, the bar has a lack of customer service. Our server did try to make it better, but she spilled our drinks while serving another table and gave me the same glass of wine that I literally watched spill. Maybe they all just need more training?

Kinda a planned late dinner here. Not to crowded, but really great atmosphere when walked. I did notice all other customers at bar and seated at tables were smiling or laughing. Chuck was our waiter for evening. Wow! He didn't miss a beat all night. We went with his recommendations and enjoyed everything. Our meal was great. Kona Brewing was also there supporting the tragedy in Maui. Wonderful evening, thanks Chuck!

I’ve been to three other Bar Louie locations and this one was the worst. The unfortunate bartender was left to fill orders and make drinks. The manager remained in the back talking with who knows who. Oh, but when two good-looking women walked in he buzzed straight to the front and sat them. All other patrons were waiting for the bartender. The place was also dirty. My lady had to replace her drinking twice before pouring up and the smell was wild. It went from cheap cleaning supplies to seafood galore. The two stars are for the drinks and the bartender. She tried her best.

My friends and I hosted a bridal shower today at Bar Louie and it was amazing!! The staff was super attentive and nice and they took care of everything! HIGHLY recommend using them for your event! They even gave the bride to be an adorable gift basket! We got so many compliments on the venue. Would definitely book with them again.

Bartenders are quick and attentive to the customers. Good service, with bringing drinks quickly and accommodating. Food is also delicious!! Thank you Tamara, Paloma and Nick. You guys are awesome. They can get busy during happy hour but they make sure to take care of you. Plus, you can vibe to great music and watch the astros game here!!

We walked in to a 90% empty bar on a Sunday around 2:00. The woman behind the bar greeted us immediately and gave us a menu and said for us to look it over and she would be right back. She spent the next 10 minutes talking to a guy on the other side of the bar. The following 10 minutes she spent wiping down the bar on his side while continuing to talk to her friend. After waiting almost 20 minutes we decided we had enough and decided to go to some of the other places that were within walking distance so that we could actually be served. Very disappointing but thanks for helping us find some other really good spots.

This place has literally gone to the dogs! No waitstaff at any time. You literally have to wait an hour to place an order and wait another just to get a drink. The floors are filthy and sticky, and so are the tables. The outside tables and sitting area is full of uncollected food and plates. Seriously guys, if you can't run it, shut it down! I have been a regular for years, but can't deal with your incompetence anymore.. rather sit at Bakers street across from you. Bathrooms are more disgusting than the greyhound station downtown.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Awhile back, I went to this location and was openly ridiculed by two employees. I submitted a complaint online and the GM from that location by the name of John Doe ( for privacy reasons ) contacted me from the locations phone number. I explained everything that happened. He was extremely apologetic and was going to pull the footage of the incident. He invited me to return to the restaurant and agreed to compensate my entire tab. I was not comfortable with going back so soon. I subsequently returned recently only to be told by the GM Mr. Blank that a John Doe did not work there at that time. Mr. Blank would not honor the compensation. Mr. Blank insinuated that someone was pulling a joke on me and stated that his employees do not bother customers. It was clear he was trying to discredit my entire story. I do not know where the fabrication lies between John Doe and Mr. Blank but I know what happened to me. I have a voicemail from John Doe stating that he was from the location I visited and he was the GM but Mr. Blank refused to listen to the voicemail. I don't know how to proceed at this point. I have submitted additional complaints online but no one has yet to get back with me. I have also contacted their "corporate" number but I cannot reach anyone. I don't know what to do at this point, but I will share my experience.

The environment is so cute! Love the location. Food was so delicious. However the service was very slow. I waited like 10 min for our waitress for frustrated, contemplated leaving. We decided to go to the bar, we were served. The bartender was nice. Just wish over all the service was faster, whether it be food, ordering drinks or just existing.

I've been to Bar Louie a couple times now and I enjoy my time every time I come. The service is a little slow however they were very busy at the time I come so I can't expect much. We were helped by the manager Megan and she was very empathetic and understanding. She took some items off of our bill because we waited a good minute for our food but I let her know I was not upset because I knew how busy they were. She even gave us shots on the house for the wait. Megan was amazing and I am definitely returning and asking for her. Food is always amazing and drinks are great. Happy hour is also very nice. If you come at a busy time, expect a wait but they can only do so much with 2 hands. Thank you Megan!!

Haven’t been to Bar Louie in ages and always passed by this location. Finally decided to go stop in and grab a quick bite. Food was way overpriced and service was non existent…I was going to take it as a sign I should leave but a staff member finally came by to take my order. Once the food came out I had to source my own utensils and hunt down a staff member to close my tab. The drink was good.

Me and my daughters went in for my daughter 21st birthday on the 13th around 10:30 and we was treated as if we was being stereotyped or targeted. We sat down bartender ask for IDs we presented them. She leaves and here comes a manager. The manager was very rude without explaining the problem ask for our IDs again so as the mother Im asking what’s the issue. Well the bartender thought our IDs was fake and the manager comes to check us which was very offensive. If you wanna be carful then you should have gotten the manager for everyone at the bar not just me and my daughters. I know black people look younger than their age but that wasn’t a reason to address us the way she did. When I decided to explain how offensive this was she gets a little irritated cause I’m asking questions and she ask us to leave. Not one time did she apologize or explain herself. I will make sure to go back and speak with another manager about the protocol and how they can address these situations a little differently. But to ask us to leave because I was a concern parent was very mean, disrespectful, and unprofessional. But shout out to the other young lady who actually came and apologized which she should be the manager. Because she handled the situation as a manger and explained in a very respectful way this wasn’t a targeted issue they just been having issues with people bringing in fake IDs. But overall this was a very unpleasant visit.. and I will make sure to follow up

Chuck was our server tonight and he was so accommodating! We never had to ask for cleanup, he was ON IT. Our team was here for hours and he was super patient with us and had a great attitude and energy. Highly recommend this location and make sure to ask for chuck!!

Cool chill vibe spot. The food was actually very good. I got the grilled cheese with fries. It self seating which Is okay I guess. The vibe is laid back which is nice. Good place to catch up with friends. It’s located in town center which is a lovely area.

Had delicious grilled cheese with tomato soup and loaded fries. Delicious! Great service, nice atmosphere, right on Sugarland town square.

Our first time here. I order a cali chicken Club and for my taste it was too dry, not enough of anything. More bread than anything else, I didn’t see or taste the guacamole. The loaded tots were delicious. The buffalo wings with the smoked onions ranch was fantastic. We set at the bar and the Martinis 🍸 are perfect. Service was A+

We visited Bar Louie for a girls night out after work and had a wonderful time. Our sever “Lina” was amazing and sweet! Very patient and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! Can’t wait to return for another wonderful evening! :)

Food was fried fresh and seasoned to perfection. Drinks on point. The spicy mule was a bit too sweet so we ended the day with our Tito’s vodka and soda. The one star subtraction came from the fact that the mens bathroom was in shambles. Mens urinal was not operating properly so there was water spewing out all over the floors.

There are a handful of chain restaurants and bars that I visit whenever I can and one of them is Bar Louie. I have a Bar Louie location not far from me, but on occasion, I find myself in nearby Sugar Land and in need of food and adult beverages. A place that satisfies my needs is Bar Louie in Sugar Land Town Square. This Bar Louie location is medium- sized with booths and tables, including high top and low tables. You may also prefer to sit at the bar and, if the weather is right, there is some outdoor seating as well. The atmosphere is generally relaxed, but it can get rather loud during the busier times of the day. It has a somewhat upscale look to it, but it is still casual overall. With the menu, you will find a nice variety of American- inspired foods, like flatbreads, burgers, and sandwiches; a few larger plates; kids menu; and desserts. Most all of them are worthy of a try, but I tend to go for one of the burgers when I visit here. With drinks, Bar Louie has a good selection, and this is usually the main reason I choose to visit here as opposed to other establishments. I like any place that has a large number of beer taps and that is exactly what they have here. I do wish the locally- brewed Houston- area beers were more plentiful, but there is still a good deal from which to choose. And if you’re not a beer person, never fear- there is a large variety of liquor and specialty drinks. I have had good luck with the service at this Bar Louie location, so all is well in that regard. With parking, you are not likely to find an open space right out front- these prime parking locations fill too quickly. You might be able to find another place to park on the street, but many of them are metered. My advice is to park in the free parking ramp and walk. It’s not that far away and you can save money on parking- money that can be used on food and beverages instead. I have always liked Bar Louie. This location in Sugar Land Town Square is a good stopover for food and beverage. It has the requirements I demand for a bar and grill in a casual yet semi- classy setting.

The fried pickles were definitely the best thing we got, and the rest of the food was pretty good. They were out of almost every single drink we tried to order though. I think we ordered 7 different ones until they finally had something we wanted.

Loved the drinks and beef sliders for appetizers. Our waiter was awesome. All was good except , I wish there was some kind of sigh telling customers to “seat themselves.” It was also very refreshing to see the manager being very hands on and helping staff clear the tables during a very busy happy hour. I will be back for sure.
