This place ended up being pretty fun. Stopped by here randomly one night and they had a DJ playing great music. The staff was awesome our bartender Sam killed it! He was hilarious and on top of our orders. The drinks were very well priced too. I would definitely go back.

The crawfish was good. The flavor was pretty good. My only complaint is the was they charge individually for everything. You are automatically charged for 2 drinks minimum. I was charged for 4 drinks which only 2 of us order pop, and only 3 of us ate crawfish. They charge individually for butter, corn, sausages, etc. They promote this $3.49lb crawfish deal every Monday but when you add everything up, you’re not getting a deal, basically you’re getting over charged. Do the math. The math isn’t mathing. Just be advised if you come here just get ready for all the extra charges. I saw multiple people asking about the charges for their pop.

I ordered something with a modification that was quite unique and I understand if its “weird” but there is no reason to judge me so harshly. I was looked like I was committing a crime because of this request. I got very obvious negative reactions from three separate employees. The service was really slow. Our waitress didn’t introduce herself, there for I don’t know her name. . She took everyone’s order without writing it down. We were a party of 6. They forgot one persons food for one hour and 15 minutes And didn’t bring it out till every single other person finished. Normally I’d say that’s fine things happen, but the fact that they didn’t even take that one item off the check was so wrong. Normally the waitress will wait till everyone leave the restaurant but she just came right up a took the paid bill and looked at her tip and everything. Just overall dumbfounded by the absolute lack of customer service.

Sam and Zach came to the rescue when I needed them to! I appreciate the fact that they care about their customers safety after they notice that they’ve had a little bit too much to drink. The bartenders on the morning shift were extremely welcoming and recommended amazing food and drinks! For my first time there, I felt well taken cared of

Decided to have lunch here because usually we love it. We actually haven’t been in while and we were excited to go. The waitress was extremely short and while I was ordering kept checking her watch like I was holding her up. Mind you it really wasn’t that busy. I asked for a salad and she never brought it. When she brought my food I started to eat and noticed there was hair in my food. At this point with the waitresses body language and shortness when speaking to us I decided to just not say anything. I ate what I could on our table and we paid and left. I think this will be the last time we come here. Super disappointed. At first I thought maybe it’s just a bad day but she had no problems laughing at the bar with the workers. I did give it two stars because my husbands food was fine.

Crawfish were 6 out of 10. Large and seasoned enough. I'd prefer much spicier and sausage included. Service was 1 out of 10. Very slow. Waited for 20 minutes before greeted. Then told the bartender was slow too. Put our whole order in with beer. Then again waited 15 minutes for our beers and another 15 minutes for the food. Over all probably won't be back. This place used to be a big hit in my 30's not so much in my 40's.

Went to an event here and it was amazing. The live music and social media was streaming like crazy. Raised almost 9,000 for charity. Jeff Canada and many singers were performing and everyone had a great time. Lots of giveaways and promoters in the house.

Great crawfish recipe, great service, great prices, but damn I feel like the average man would break those stools. The beer tap system seems wonky as Most everything I've had on the beer list comes out flat and on the warmer side.

I have never felt more welcome in my life. Kacie is amazing. Welcoming, fun, and great at what she does. We had an eight top of family that hasn’t been in town for two years, she made the whole night special.

Came here today for my first time. Didn’t know it was going to be as packed as it was for a Monday. Tabby was my server she was ok wish she had more bedside manner for newcomers. Don’t even know the accuracy of the name that’s what the receipt says. But they were busy so she probably also didn’t have the time. Wasn’t expecting such an itemizing charge by charge for sides or additional flavors. But they do have a actual crawfish menu notifying you about said charges. I was recommended this place from Crawfish Community on Facebook. I got 3lbs crawfish Large spice .50 Crawfish sauce .50 didn’t like this one. Lemon .50 Pug sauce .50 Corn .99 Potato .99 didn’t ask for this so wasn’t charged for it. Shocked by accuracy. Ravioli 1.99 Boudin link Fries Totaling short under $40 without tip. Definitely gave her tip even though wasn’t fully satisfied with her service. The crawfish was kinda sour at first definitely different from my usual. I can’t even put my finger on it. The deeper you get in the bowl the better it gets. The SIZE though, by far the best large size I’ve had since the season started so early this year. Boudin link was good but only ate like 75% of it. Fries were good as well. Boxed it up, left it on the table. Pregnancy brain is real. Which makes me real sad cause I so could have ate that for a midnight snack… I’ll be back to try the other foods and specials. Atmosphere 10/10 music was on point and plenty of seating.

All the staff members are so friendly & attentive. The food is delicious & always piping hot when it comes out. They have some of the best crawfish. The regular menu is amazing. Recently they added a cajun menu & let me tell you it's bussin! You can play pool, darts, & many other small games you can play!

The food was great all around and the drinks were cold and delicious. Atmosphere for me was fun and vibrant but I could see how maybe someone else may not be a fan. Lastly service was great the first two times but this last time it was a bit lacking in its quality but still good. All in all me and my wife will be frequent patrons

They have some really good food and the service is always above and beyond. The DJ is pretty good. This last time we were there not that much of a crowd but it's usually a nice crowd there. Everyone is fun and friendly. It's really a great place to hang out.

The best crawfish around, hands down! Highly recommend the mix sauce! No sprinkling of seasoning here, the flavor runs throughout! We also love their pub food! Great atmosphere, family friendly (at least during the day when we go) and love the waitstaff! One of our favorite places to go!

In between volunteer sessions at the Insperity Senior PGA tournament, I needed a place to cool off and quaff a few brews to date my thirst. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the Flying Pug just a few minutes from the course to fully meet my needs. This is a fairly large bar built in the motif of an Irish Pub. There are plenty of tables and bar space along with an outdoor patio to accommodate a good sized crowd. And there are loads of television screens on which to watch sports. I was impressed with the large selection of beers on tap and with the attentive and friendly service provided by the bar maids. I didn't try the food but I observed a fair number of well prepared dishes being served to the other patrons. Unfortunately there were no good games on the TV while I was there to excite the crowd. But I would imagine that things could get quite lively if there are some exciting competitions being shown.

A great sports bar with lots of food options and fantastic daily specials. Lots of TV screens for sports enthusiasts, as well as occasional DJ, live music, and other casual events. It’s a seat yourself spot (though no one told us until other customers did), and the service is pretty good (though when it’s busy it definitely slows down). They have good crawfish with unique sauce, and I absolutely love their Bourbon BBQ sauce wings. Overall, a great chill place to hangout or grab a good bite. Very worth the price, and big portions.

Bartenders were awesome, even though I wasn't the most upfront guest. Only problem was the guy next to me was drunk. Staff was trying to sober him up. But that didn't stop his annoyance.

Please don't just rely on unpleasant reviews. Our servers were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our draft beers were icy cold and the food was delicious! I'm so happy to of finally visited this little gem in our neck of the woods. Thank you, The Flying Pug! We will visit again soon!

Met a friend of mine up there. Fairly good amount of people. Food seemed decent, sat at the bar, the bartenders (girls) were cool and they had a patio. Would definitely go again. Go check it out! oh I went during the day. About 1:30 pm.

My first visit. Went specifically for the crawfish. Cool place, cool vibe. Lots of TVs on good channels. The crawfish were great! Just enough spice to them. The draft beer was "ok" cold; could be colder. I'll go back!

Excellent spot for crawfish. They are still small this time of year, but they had great flavor. I did the mixed sauces (spicy garlic and garlic butter) and they came with taters and corn. I added ravioli, which were fabulous. The ricotta cheese really soaked up the sauce. $9.99/lb right now.

Draft beer was not cold. Wine tasted old. But had a good time despite. Has 1 pool table and 4 dart boards. Chill spot.

FP is one of my favorite neighborhood bars, especially during crawfish season. Their is always cute festive artwork on the blackboard and decor for holidays. The wait staff is always friendly!

  • 4/5 Bryan C. 1 year ago on Google
4 stars only because they are occasionally understaffed. Food is great, and different than most bar & grills. Staff is very good and friendly. A great place to enjoy a drink or beer (many draft selections as well as canned or bottled) with friends, family, or co-workers. Recommended
