Not a bad spot! For about $30.00, I got a takoyaki appetizer as well as the Tonkotsu black. The tonkotsu black was very rich and creamy. The noodles had a good texture. The egg came as a whole boiled egg though instead of two halves, which was a bit messier to eat, but not a big deal. Was a bit disappointed with the takoyakis however. Felt like there was a lot of filling, but not much octopus if any. They also had too much sauce on it. Less sauce and more octopus would go a long way to improving it. The bartender and crew overall were very nice and welcoming. They gave great drink recommendations and had very good social vibes. Would recommend the spot overall for ramen, but not so much for takoyakis.

Wow! Just absolutely astounded by the quality of ramen here! The broth had so much complexity and flavor I couldn't stop to appreciate it and ate it too fast jk. Ordered the Jinya Ramen Black hot with a side of the double inferno sauce and it only elevated the entire bowl. This could be considered high end as the price reflects that but completely worth it. The noodles were thinner than I prefer but absorbed the broth very well. The chashu wasn't as fatty as I would've liked and the egg was cooked just right but nothing special. The double tuna cones were disappointing because they were very small. Overall this place deserves 6 stars but only slightly less than Ramen Jin because it lacks that homemade feel and taste with thicker noodles. I went back and forth between deciding which shop but Ramen Jin is IMO better by a hair. I would also like to mention Daphne our server provided excellent service and recommendations.

First time visit at this location. Service was prompt and friendly. The only negative thing that I have to share is the flavor of the broth/soup. Not as flavorful as other places I have tried. The soup tastes as if they are simply adding Gochujang paste and Sriracha. The other soup dish that was ordered was very salty. The ramen was nicely cooked. Wish they were as good as the location downtown.

Completely honest, Jinya's original ramen broth was too saturated with msg for my taste. But their rice bowl, my God their rice bowls... I've never tasted anything so divine. Their pork chasu rice bowl is to die for. Takoyaki was delicious as well. This particular location has a Japenese bar aesthetic that I really appreciated. Would go back for their rice bowl, not so much for ramen though.

For a first time at a Ramen Bar I must say it was great. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the many items on the menu and also personal suggestions. To top it all off the food was DELICIOUS 😋

My husband and I came here for the first time and we really loved it!! Everything was super yummy ♡ we got karaage along with two chicken ramens and everything was so good! My husband had never heard of ramen so he was a little nervous but he tried it and really loved it :)! We'll definitely be back! Totally recommend!

One of my go to places for Ramen.. quick and friendly service at this location. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen. My only complain… for 14.50, there should definitely be more than one piece of chicken in my ramen. The meat was definitely lacking, but it always has been and I still continue to come back. The friend chicken appetizer was delicious! Next time I go, I will probably only be ordering this. My boyfriend and I got the sake because why not… you can never go wrong with some hot sake. Ramen has always been a little overpriced here, but overall, a good experience for sure! Enjoy!

Chill little spot. Great noodles, nice that you can add more topics to your bowl or do an entire custom order. We had the Shio Delight and the egg came out perfect. Also they give you the entire egg, not a half slice like other ramen bars. The shrimp wontons were ok, the wontons seemed a little to firm for my taste and not as flavorful. The takoyaki did come out great though!

I'm extremely disappointed at how bad this place has gone downhill. My wife and I ordered this and had it delivered. I got the spicy chicken ramen. It came with barely any chicken and very bland broth. Basically tasted watered down. (Which is the complete opposite of what we used to receive). And for the price of the food here this is completely ridiculous. We used to eat here quite regularly but now we won't be returning. It saddens me to see how poor the quality has become..

Had a delicious lunch today at Jinya Ramen Bar. We order a serving of Pork Gyoza potstickers which were very good and quickly came to the table. As soon as we finished up the potstickers, our ramen was ready. We had two orders of ramen, JINYA Chicken Ramen with added mushrooms and Wonton Chicken Ramen. Both orders were served in deep bowls and were delicious. The chicken is tasty and the wontons were cooked perfectly. Had plenty leftover for lunch tomorrow. Only drawback is the restaurant is dark and very noisy, with music and tv both being on at the same time. Will definitely keep this restaurant on our lunch rotation! This was our first time at this style of restaurant. I have never been a fan of Asian cuisine, whether it be Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. However, I really enjoyed this. The jinya bun (pork) appetizer as well as crispy rice croquettes were so delicious. I had spicy chicken ramen and my wife had chicken ramen. The dishes were great. We will go again!

I would suggest Never to order to go here. They just throw things together and hope you don’t check it before you go. We dined in and the food was fresh and delicious so we decided to order to go a few days later… terrible idea smh. I called back to ask for a refund and the lady manager said “we don’t give refunds” Please check your food before you leave or just don’t order takeout in the first place.

The waiter we had was very friendly and accommodating to our group. The ramen was very good, enough to fill us up without feeling bloated. For the amount of extras included on the ramen I believe the price is very reasonable. Overall good experience.

Amazing Ramen place. I tried the chef special - karaage Ramen with chicken broth - and it was excellent. Gyoza was ok. Little pricey compared to other Ramen places nearby. Excellent service and ambiance.

Excellent ramen. Stopped here after an amazing visit to Space Center Houston and had a great experience. The staff was courteous, the food fantastic, and service very prompt. They had some great Japanese beer on tap so had an all-Nippon experience. If you like ramen, this JINYA is a great choice. Take your pick on the menu based on your flavor desire and heat capabilities; there are some very hot options if you likey the spicey. Everyone left fully satisfied.

Seems to be a pretty busy location and this was the first time it didn't have a long wait (but still a wait). The seating is booths and a big family-style seating where you are sitting with 20 others or so. Service was fast and food was good. We tried the dumplings, the panko coated brussles sprouts and a dumplings Ramen. The food wasn't my favorite but I must say this is first time at Ramen bar so I might now be a fan in general. For the food we got with drinks, I treated my friend for about $50 with tip. Worth a stop in, especially if there is a show next door at Scout Bar (but be ready for the wait)!

This is the third time I’ve been here and the food and service have been amazing every single time. For an appetizer, I love the spicy shrimp tempura. They’re cooked perfectly and have a great flavor and crunch. For the main course, I always get the chicken wonton ramen - spicy. It’s a huge portion and it always lasts me two meals.

Great service and the waiter knows our order by heart and brings all the sauces before we even ask for then. Busy location but great service

Great meal both times I went. So good I forgot my expensive sunglasses. Came out nice and hot, flavor was amazing, and presentation was good too! Will go there again if I am in town.
