This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Houston. I recommend this spot for a birthday, date night, lunch with the girls, etc. Nonetheless I do recommend reservations as the turnaround of tables is not fast pace. Everything I’ve ordered in the past and now is always consistent. Tried their new dish, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, 10/10. Love the atmosphere, wish they had more locations.

As always In North Italias everything was good. I checked out after a while and enjoyed my Chicken Parmigiana. The pizza crust is great and most of the pizzas on the menu are good. My cousin asked for our waiter's choice of pasta and he brought us a wonderful plate and that’s the reason I don’t know its name.

North Italia has great food! I really enjoyed the garlic bread and shrimp! The steak was interesting but pretty good. The tiramisu has the best textures and flavor! The restaurant tends to be packed, but has warm lighting and cozy wooden finishes. It’s a good restaurant to celebrate with your loved ones!

Stopped in for an early dinner around 4 PM and only had about a 10 minute wait which is good because it gets really busy here. I had a couple of folks with me that hadn't been here before so I took the liberty of ordering appetizers. They also had a nice refreshing Tequila cocktail on special which I also took advantage of. For a main, I wanted to try their Squid Ink Malfadine with squid and shrimp and it was delicious. The portions here, in my opinion, are just right and we all left full and satisfied. The customer service was great, as always, and I look forward to my next visit.

We were excited and had high hopes based on the reviews and menu. Happily sat at the bar. Great energy and ambiance throughout. Portions were a little small; or more appropriate one could argue... We shared the mussels and short rib entree-- they were good, not great. Peeve: when one orders a gin & tonic, specifies well is fine-- and then is surprised to find top shelf slapped on the bill. I find that poor hospitality, but at least it was strong. 🤷‍♀️

If it’s the weekend you’ve been fighting for, this place is your culinary refuge. From design to decor, it’s built to put you at ease, good for large groups too. You can’t go wrong for the Crispy Calamari, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Italian Meatballs and Prosciutto Pizza.

Spectacular experience to say the least. North Italia is filled with some delicious appetizers, entrees and deserts. Located in a very nice part of Houston, it’s decorated quite nicely with a great trendy ambiance inside. Will definitely be back!

Awesome experience with server Ian! We dine here often and have never sat with him. He ROCKED our experience from start to finish. For a bustling Saturday night, the food was fast and delicious. My cocktail “the white lotus” was yummy! Special dinner order was no problem, the restrooms were clean (bonus), and we only had to wait a few minutes to get a table! 5 Stars. Thanks, Ian! You should be a trainer and manager!

It was my first time visiting North Italia and I was not disappointed! This restaurant has it all! Ambience ✔️ great food! ✔️ great service! ✔️ great DRINKS! ✔️ My coworkers and I came here for our Christmas party and everything went off without a hitch! Joel, our waiter, was courteous and attentive without being overbearing and brought everything out in a timely manner! 👏🏾 The food was delicious, drinks were sumptuous, and the atmosphere was electric with Christmas cheer! I will definitely be returning!

We had an awesome lunch! Victoria was the sweetest with amazing suggestions from this delicious dessert to the spicy vodka sauce, with the truffle bread was out of this world! We will be back very soon! And we will ask for her! Excellent service, great location, great atmosphere, and the food is amazing!!

Went for my birthday and it was great! The vibes, atmosphere, the wine, and oh my goodness the pesto pasta was to die for! We had an amazing waitress that was very helpful with painting a picture in our minds of how the dish looked, and even brought out a tiny sampling cup of sauce for me to see if I’d enjoy it! All ingredients are fresh and made from scratch (my favorite part). It was a bit tight but it wasn’t unbearable . I’m definitely going back!

Very very busy and loud but nice atmosphere. Cool that you can see into the kitchen. Service is decent. Helpful and friendly. Clean restrooms and plenty of them. We have been here multiple times and food is always usually great. There has been one occasion where the food was just too salty. Like not edible because it was too salty. But that has only happened once. Every other time, food has been great! Make sure you have a reservation as they are so so busy.

The best experience possible for our 1 year wedding anniversary! All the appetizers, dinner, wine, and dessert were wonderful. The service was the best I’ve had all year from our server Will. His input, suggestions, and timing were all top notch! We cannot wait to go back and explore the menu.

Went for the first time for my birthday and I must say that it was truly an amazing experience. The food was very tasty and the service was outstanding. From the Host who seated us to the management team and our server. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful the team at North Italia is. Highly recommend this restaurant👍👍

Delicious! Authentic! 5 Stars! My wife and I tried this place out as we are in Houston for an Anniversary Trip and this restaurant did not disappoint. Very very delicious Italian food all around from the appetizers to the desserts. Very friendly and attentive staff. The Garlic Bread that the waiter recommended was truly amazing. My wife ordered the a Shrimp Alfredo (isn’t on the menu) however they were able to make it to perfection. I chose the Tuscan Half Chicken! The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor! Every bite was like trying it again for the first time. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

North Italia is an excellent restaurant delivering high quality food in a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. Whoever bakes their bread and pizza crust is a master craftsman; that food was exquisite. The pasta with braised beef had a unique flavor profile that was refreshing. The Brussels sprouts were so good that I’ll go there just for those again. The carpaccio and the spaghetti were amazingly good. Service was also impeccable so I plan to go there again.

Love this place!! To start the vibe and atmosphere is amazing! The customer service is above and beyond amazing!! Every time we have eaten here it never disappoints! Food is always fresh and delicious! And the desserts and cocktails are to die for! Don’t forget to get the best espresso around! Can’t say enough about this amazing place! Recommend to everyone!!

Yes yes yes. Phenomenal atmosphere, food, service, vibes, everything. I'll be back. I loved it. I love a good spot with mood lighting and everyone's talking but it becomes a hum where it's not disruptive (it was packed).

The food was just okay. I asked for my dish to be spicy and they added $2.50 to my bill. Never had that happen before. I don't think I will return. However, Gabriella the server was excellent and the atmosphere is great for after work.

Wonderful Italian restaurant. The Chicken Parmesan was amazing. Service was flawless. They have lovely outside dining as well as inside. I went for lunch. This would be a great place for lunch or dinner, date night or family. All the ingredients of a great restaurant are here. Highly recommended.

Everything about this place was amazing. The service was great and the garlic bread with cheese was fantastic. You truly cannot get a meal here without trying this. I ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta and it was fantastic just the right amount of spice, a great portion and a really fair price. Finished off with the bombolini for dessert and it was heavenly!

My favorite Italian restaurant in the Uptown Galleria. I always order a margarita pizza. The basil is always fresh in the pizza is thin and crispy. 😋🍕 A perfect restaurant for a quick bite with clients or friends. A wide variety of drinks & cocktails Vegetarian & gluten-free menu options. The only negative would be parking. Valet parking is worth the money.

I had an order for delivery and it was delicious! Food arrived warmish and it still tasted great so I can’t imagine how good it must taste at the restaurant! We will be back! The bolognese was very flavorful and had enough meat sauce! The pizza was also delicious! Highly recommend it!

We chose North Italia to celebrate our 16 year anniversary. Our waiter Ian was amazing, what a great service! The food was absolutely delicious too. We had our kids with us and they also loved their food, which were made to order (thank you, chef, for accommodating our picky eaters). We also got offered a free dessert for our anniversary, which was outrageously good, the salted caramel one. I should point out that it is very loud inside, but all the rest overshadows that fact and it’s still worth a 5 star review on my book.

Garlic truffle bread is a special mention of must have.. and so is everything on menu. Along with any cocktail to bring out the weekend any day. …. Don’t forget the calamari. u’ll be transported to a beach side diner.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. Great service. The food was delicious. I especially loved the meatballs. My wife loved the chicken parmigiana. The sangria was delicious. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Delicious appetizers. I didn't get into the entrees much as we were eating lunch and just did tapas style...but the meatballs, white truffle garlic bread, and arancini were awesome. The chopped chicken salad I got was high quality but I probably wouldn't order it again based on my own flavor preferences. I'll certainly back and try more dishes. I was shocked that they don't have espresso, though.

Order - Crispy Calamari - Grilled Bread & Good Olive Oil - Glazed Short Rib Cavatelli - Spicy Rigatoni Vodka Last minute dinner reservations for a Sunday dinner was easy to book over the phone. Within 20 minutes from reserving a table to showing up we were seated. The waiter/waitress service was on point! Our table really didn't need anything but they regularly stopped to check in on us. The food was quick to the table and very delicious. We did order the grilled bread once the entree was brought out. I wasn't the biggest fan of the bread. It was more like a crouton but that is my opinion. Overall the experience was pleasant and will recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped in for a late dinner on a Monday night thinking it would be a more quiet and less busy time for them…it was not. We ended sitting at the bar because of the wait for the main dining area. Found out from our bartender/server Ray that there’s a 1/2 off all bottles special on Mondays and that’s why it’s usually just as packed. Even with that being the case, we still loved our dinner. Ray was great and attentive throughout. The Caesar Salad we shared was a great combo of fresh and crunchy, with a tasty dressing as well. The main dishes were both fantastic and gave us the hearty and filling combo we were looking for. The Chicken Parmesan was spot on, including the creamy pasta on the side. The Bolognese was the best part of the meal as asking for it to be made spicy pushed it over the top. They added the perfect amount of heat to what was already clearly going to be a tasty dish. Between the dynamite food and Ray’s friendly service, I’m definitely excited to be back.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Wow! I do not know why it took me so long to eat there. This place serves up the best Italian in Houston in my opinion. The food and service were both on point. Never had to ask for anything, and level of service was much better than we normally receive in Houston restaurants. Atmosphere is upbeat and relaxing. Love the large tables and very comfortable chairs. Definitely will be back the next time we want Italian. Bolognese Pasta was the favorite entree for my group, but we enjoyed all the food that was served. Caesar Salad was one of the best ever, great, great dressing. Great Job!

This restaurant was the best for me and my lunch date to enjoy fresh and filling food. From the frist step we were in awe of the beatuiful aesthetic. Our waitress Mika was so nice and very well informed of the menu and gave great recommendations. we have the chicken parm with alfredo rigatoni pasta and chicken pesto with gigli pasta. Oooh and the truffle garlic bread with herb butter and side marinara sauce was to die for, we got two orders of it. For dessert we shared a italian butter cake with blueberry preserves, fresh vanilla-lemon whipped fraiche, cinnamon crumble with basil, soo delicious! Definitely will return!

I have been dinning outside due to not being in such close quarters when eating, just a personal preference. If you are looking for a unique modern take on classic Italian cuisine this is place is for you.

Best meatballs I had, scrumptious pizza and tasty pasta. This is a gem of a hotel with beautiful ambience but not too pricey.

Got the Americano brunch plate, lemon donuts, meatball sandwich, and squid ink mafaldine. The lemon donuts came out at the end, but the lemon curd was delicious. The servers kindly split the Americano into 2 dishes for my parents to share. The meatball sandwich was hearty but just lacked that final touch of sauce or salt to give it a lot of flavor. The parmesan fries were good. The squid ink pasta wasn't bad. The Calabrian chili had a lot of flavor (which gave the meatball sandwich that missing flavor!), But the pasta was just a touch chewy. I didn't think the squid had much flavor either, but the shrimp was good. I appreciate the server and hostess accommodating our many switches to get the perfect table!

North Italia was jam packed on a Saturday night, which was to be expected. We happened to find seats at the bar. The bartenders were great hosts. Food came out looking great and tasting amazing. The crispy calamari and arugula was perfect. I suggest ordering a side of marina to dip. The bolognese pasta was mouth watering. The scallops were seasoned and cooked to perfection and were so buttery, probably the best scallops i’ve ever tasted.
