Atmosphere: Nice abundance! I loved the atmosphere! It definitely has that fine dining feel. There were a lot of prom dates. It’s a great for a date night. Waiter: We had outstanding service! Our waiter recommended several different items. He was great at explaining the menu. He was fun but professional. Food: I have definitely had better. It was quite disappointing to be honest! They have small portions, expensive prices, and not even that flavorful. We opted for the tuna with fried noodles. Now that was delicious but it was supposed to feed at least 4 ppl but it barely fed 2. We also got the lobster in butter sauce. It was a beautiful dish and I couldn’t wait to dive in. It was bright and beautiful and looked very colorful. However the taste was very disappointing. I thought that it would be bursting with flavor and it wasn’t. They give you this huge split lobster however part of it was very bitter! Parking: Ridiculous Overall: I won’t be back.

The premier place in Houston to explore high-quality award-winning chef inspired offerings. A unique and vast menu that will satisfy your craving for seafood, sushi, etc. Very nice establishment located in the heart of the Galleria. Leo is the absolute best and service was 10/10 white glove. Highly recommend!

Came here for my birthday dinner, and it was exquisite. My first time at Nobu, the waitress was so very helpful with ordering and deciding what would work best for us, etc. The food was phenomenal, everything was delicious 🤤!! Would definitely go back! I unfortunately cannot remember any of the dish’s names 😨

This was our first time dining at Nobu. We had no idea what to order but our server Noel took very good care of us. She asked us a few questions about what type of food we like and then she crafted out dining experience for us. Everything she chose was excellent and she was extremely nice and attentive the entire time. We will definitely come back.

Had wonderful dinner at Nobu. Their tea selection is excellent— must try Hojicha and Orchid tea. I actually like their hot plates than cold plates. Also highly recommend the toro sushi. For the dessert, get the strawberry yuzu cloud plate!!!!!!!!! Surprisingly good.

Had an absolute experience at Nobu, it is clear why this is one of the premier fine dining experiences in the world. Would 10 out of 10 recommend, and will most definitely be back. With an inspired menu, an upbeat and intimate atmosphere, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff, Nobu sets the bar for what fine dining really is. Come have yourself a little A5 along with a lychee martini and enjoy the vibe!!!

Went to Nobu for a birthday celebration and it was a nice experience. The staff was informative with understanding the menu and suggesting different selections from the menu. I really enjoyed the various sushi rolls that we tried. Two surprises were the miniature wagyu beef tacos and the snow crab roll. The salted edmame was also delicious. We ordered several rounds.

I have been enjoying Naboo for many years, in Houston, Las Vegas and Dallas. While the sushi was fantastic, what was unforgivable was the bug problem. We told our waitress 30min into the meal and she simply said, “I’m sorry”. That was the last time we saw her until the very end when she brought the check. The sushi chefs could see there was a problem and tried to overcompensate with conversation. The bill was paid and a healthy tip was left and as we left the sushi bar and waited for our bags from the coat check, the manager of the restaurant asked our our $1,000+ meal was and I told the manager that while the seafood was fantastic, the bugs needed to be taken care of. I then showed him the videos of the bugs flying in and on my food and the numerous dead ones that I was able to kill. His response, “ so sorry about that” Nothing else…no explanation…no empathy In Houston, with our amazing restaurant scene where there are 20 other sushi restaurants at the same quality and price point, this was a major let down. I don’t know what I was looking for but I know I wasn’t expected to be treated in such a dismissive manner. As a result of the response to the reaction, or lack thereof, to the numerous videos and photos I shared, I can only think of one way to let others have a better level of expectation when visiting this establishment. Shame on you Nobu - shame on you!

The service we received wasn’t the best. Our server wasn’t attentive as we would like. The wagyu flambé was greasy! I’ve had wagyu before & the way this was prepared wasn’t so tasty. I didn’t like it. Lychee & Elderflower martini was tasty Lobster tacos & Oysters were the absolute best & fresh. Shishito peppers were good & tasty Creamy Spicy Crab wasn't creamy Yellowtail Jalapeno was good! The dessert was okay. I asked her what it was she couldn't properly explain. I didn't like it at all.

We thought hard about coming here because of the star rating. We made reservations for 9:30 PM and arrived at the restaurant at 9:15 PM. We were seated at our table at 9:45 PM. They were apologetic and accommodating and sat us in a comfortable both. We had two servers that were exceptional. Great ambience and excellent selection of Japanese cuisine. The spicy margarita was delicious. The wagyu steak kebab was delicious. It’s a place we will visit again.

Hamachi(Yellowtail) is always a safe to-go for option. However, the octopus was overpowered by miso and was unbearably salty. Also, if I’m dining on my own, would be nice to order a small water of bottle instead 24oz, or at least inform me that there is no small bottles instead of bringing me the large one. Besides, in the bill the water was listed as Ferrarelle but brought to the table was actually San Pellegrino. A bit annoying.

Just wanted to find out why reviews here for Nobu in Houston is low compared to other states/cities. So, I get it, customer service is non-chalant. Staff communicate less with customers, hardly any eye contact. Selections are ok; but not a Wow! Over priced for quality and service.

Wonderful service! First time here and we had tried two items recommended by our waitress. Sooo good! Scallops, salmon Arugula salad, and then sushi that was on the regular menu. Drinks were fantastic! Will definitely come back!

Had the most lovely time and great service for my birthday evening. All of the seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back to try different dishes as there were many things we wanted to try! The tempura fish on happy hour melted like clouds in the mouth, crispy okra was delicious, sea bass was amazing... until next time!

Nobu provided an exceptional evening for both a date and a birthday celebration, creating an unforgettable experience. The service was remarkable—attentive servers and a welcoming atmosphere made the occasion truly special. As for the food, the sushi was fantastic, and the mochi dessert surpassed all expectations, delivering an exquisite flavor that lingered. What sets Nobu apart is its ability to elevate everyday dishes to a whole new level of sophistication. It effortlessly adds a touch of elegance to familiar flavors, transforming them into an extraordinary dining adventure. It's an experience worth savoring, offering a blend of quality, ambiance, and culinary finesse that's hard to match.

Came here for a birthday celebration. Compared to other luxury sushi restaurants, this one speaks of “no frills”, not for intimate dining. We ordered crispy okra as appetizer and it was of perfect texture and seasoning. We also got house special roll, salmon nigiri, toro, king crab, snow crab sashimi, and lobster pepper. All of them were delicious and fresh. The veggies in my lobster dish was a little burned though. And there was a wait before our water was refilled. For this type of restaurant, it was disappointing.

Great experience! The food was great quality. I think the mainstream success of this chain has set the bar high for many. The prices are elevated but if you’re able you can enjoy a nice meal and good drinks. It was my wife’s birthday and she’s loved it.

One place off the bucket list. We had a blast. Dishes were delicious, restaurant has a very nice ambience. Prices are high so be prepared but it’s totally worth it. We ordered 10 items, the bill was $300 with tips. Thank you !

For a first time experience of a fancy sushi restaurant, I think I set the bar way too high by having an amazing private catered dinner at Nobu. Every dish was better than the last and it was curated by the head chef. I wish I could remember all the names of the dishes we ate but all I know is we were stuffed by the end of the dinner and I cannot remember better service or cuisine in a long time. Highly recommend!

Me and the Bestie celebrated our birthdays (12/30 & 1/1) here on Jan 3. We always pick a posh restaurant each year to celebrate this special occasion. Here, We both each got the Omakase along with a couple separate dishes. Everything was PERFECT. Our courses came out in a timely manner. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable about each dish. The restaurant was clean and elegant. Everything was delicious except for the crispy rice and tuna tar tar. We both didn't care for that much. Rocket shrimp was on point. We really enjoyed the waygu beef a lot. It was cooked perfectly and was paired beautifully with it's embellishments. Sushi was served and we could tell it was fresh. Dining here is definitely not budget friendly though. Portions are small and don't expect to leave full. Two Omakases and 4 small appetizers set us back about $600 not including tip. But you come here for the EXPERIENCE and It is quite an experience. One that i don't regret.

A nice weekday outing with delicious small dishes. I also had the wagyu tacos which were tender and delectable but came with two MINI tacos. Detailed descriptions on each photo

I thing the best of Nobu is the quality of fish they serve! It actually melted in your mouth, so delicious, your actually paying for the quality and service! Great atmosphere.. I been in Nobu Las Vegas and Malibu, and this one is very casual compared to the others. We order the sampler’s menu ( I thing they call it like that ) for $125 each person and you get a lot of food. We couldn’t finish the whole thing. I also couldn’t take picture of everything 😬 but is worth it for the price, plus you try a lots of thing from the menu.. each plate is average 20$-$40 with this option you get like 6 plates plus dessert.
