Yummy fried lumpia! Pork belly was good but too hard. Friendly staff too. Interesting bakery. I like checking out other cultures so this was fun. We didn't go during the buffet time but would love to go back and check that out too!

A friend introduced me to their Lumpias which if you're wondering are like mini toquitos. They come in 25 or 50 with a generous portion of sweet spicy red sauce. While you might think 25 will be a nice snack for two people to share...no. Not because of the size but once the addiction kicks in, friendships start to get questioned and feelings get hurt. They are best enjoyed hot so call an order in about 15 min before picking them up. They also make great party snacks and reheat well in an air fryer. Other items I've tried were good but the Lumpias make them hard to remember. Service is good considering the amount of orders they process and staff is friendly. It's a mom and pop style place so decor is on the home feeling side. No TVs or much toblook at but if you're enjoying a meal there your indulgence in the plate before will probably be enough to keep conversation going with the company you're sharing the meal.

This is a nice Filipino catering, restaurant, and bake shop. It is family run and the food is good during the active times. I will go back for more when in the area.

This is our place for every special event we have for our family. I have been ordering from them for over 8 years. Always on time when we order 200+ Eggrolls. They even sell frozen Eggrolls so you can make them at home.

Extremely rude Store owner ( the old guy owner ) We’re on vacation in Galveston island Texas from Minnesota, and decided to drive to Houston just to visit this store because I’m craving for Siopao, the lady staff welcomed us with a smile then attend us , we’re planning to eat there for lunch and have some take outs , the lady showed me we’re the siopao is located, I open the freezer and see the varieties of siopao flavor , suddenly the guy owner saw me telling me to close the freezer in a not polite manner , my husband reacted of what he did , and he explains that it was a bad habit to some people to open the refrigerator and stay there for long , and I interrupted , saying “ I just got here , and I’m a customer “ we’re not in his home ,?!! then the guy said sorry but his not really sorry because of his tone of voice and he just left right away while my husband is still talking to him, we got more upset, and we told him that he is rude , that we drove to Houston just to visit his store and this is what we got ? He just keep ignoring us , and I keep telling him how rude he is , he just said , Thank you , again and again. Most Filipino in America that I meet was polite and friendly, but not this GUY. We just went out the store , and went to Jollibee instead . It’s just so sad that May bastos pala pinoy na buhay pa until now na nakapasok sa America.

Horrible service, They put food out for display even if it's a order and they don't let you know. If you accidentally get the ordered food they will be rude to you for getting it. They don't help with payments either. If I could give 0 stars I would, never going again.

Small and simple local Filipino mart. Hot breakfast and lunch available (Philippines style not Americanized). Fresh baked goods and sweets like turon, polvoron, ensaymadas, pan de sal, etc. Nothing fancy, but very Filipino, reminds me of my childhood growing up with Filipino mom and family :)

My kababyan who resides in SW Houston took me here because he mentioned one of their best dishes was the bangsilog. We ordered two plates and to make this short and sweet, it was great! I cleaned my plate. Lol. I haven't had fried bangus(milkfish) in years so it was a helluva treat. Thank you to my friend and thank you Godo's. I will see you again.

I waiting for over 45min to recieve my food which was fine. I guess I felt it was going to fresh except the egg rolls was so oily I throw it away. Second, while I waited the lady who took money keep on asking me while I waited for my food, If I paid already. At this point of waiting for 45min I just wanted to leave out of this place and never come back. The hospital I work for always ordered from them so decided to get some food for my family and friends. But I'll never do that again.

I was craving for Filipino food and our Caucasian colleague recommended me this! 0.6 miles away from my training and I had fried mackerel and mixed veggies. They heated my own brown rice I brought and they were very accommodating. Nothing like Filipino hospitality. They have the food market as well with various foods I’d get if I was home. H town is busting with great Filipino food! May I add that last Friday I ordered pancit tray and lumpia and my colleagues were so happy! Adding pics!

I ordered the following lunch for our clinic team last week: 1 tray each of pansit, beef eggroll, chicken fried rice, fried chicken, crispy pata and leche flan. i specifically said to cut the crispy pata and chicken to serving size… First the fried chicken cuts were big then the crispy pata is isang buong pata; not cut to share .. 2nd both hindi sya nakain dahil old na daw and dry.. i felt embarrassed doon sa Doctor na nag bayad coz the food and money got wasted .. To be fair, i always order pansit and eggrolls from them and it’s always well eaten But for now hindi muna ako mag o-order sa kanila ..

My first experience here was awesome. The food was good and fresh and big portions. But the customer service is what will bring me back. I left my bank card there, called about it and showed up the next day with my ID as they requested and the ladies there were so nice. The lady that helped me said, " your such a handsome man." They made me feel great.

Very great Filipino restaurant. They have combo meals which is very affordable. Great tasting food. There are a lot of Filipino delicacies too from banana cue, turon, ensaymada and any other specialty foods. If you want the lechon belly call in advance to order.

I always have a great experience every time I come to this Filipino restaurant. Food and service are excellent. Staff are courteous. I don’t have to wait for a long time for my order. Highly recommended!

Came in for Pandesal, but the people ahead of me took the last one, but left out with pansit and mixed veggies with shrimp. Large portions and a good price. The young lady who helped me was a good conversationalist.

Godo’s is my go to spot for all cooked Filipino eats. I got introduced to it as my coworkers in the hospital would always order items from here for potlucks. Now it’s my go to for lumpia. Anytime I have a gathering at the house or any party for that matter, I order a tray of it here and it is always a big hit. These small, egg rolls are addicting and you can never just have one. I’ve always ordered ahead of time and have always had the food ready when I arrive for pick up. I highly recommend this place for all you Filipino cuisine needs.

First time with filipino food, had no idea what I was ordering. Staff helped out a bit, asked if we wanted the lunch special. Ended up with chicken adobo and eggrolls. Food is good, sauce for eggroll wasnt for me. Will come back and try the other food. Atmosphere was weird, everyone was staring at us. Maybe because we were new there or we looked confused, but couldve done without all the staring down, lol.

Decent place to have lunch.. Real porcelain plates and silverware being provided for diners compared to the cheap plastic plates and fork at Cherry Foodarama (CF) . Take out food is in bigger containers and they fill them up to the brim.. CF only fill up 3/4 of their take out food containers which are already smaller in size. Ambience of the restaurant is lot more pleasant than the crowded and low class atmosphere at CF. I had been going to Godo's for many years.. it is highly recommended!

The mocha cake here taste good. It was made not too sweet as American cakes. The mocha cake just as a Vietnamese homemade cake such as birthday cakes or "buche de Noel". The price was right. My Phillipino co-worker took me here 2x and have ordered occasionally when we have party.

This place is okay. I’m Filipina and have had better Filipino food. My husband found 2 strands of hair in his sinigang. 😪 Even if he hadn’t found the hair in the sinigang, it was still bland and had too much fat. The lechon was pretty tasty. My bangsilog was fine but could have been more flavorful. The Mang Tomas sauce for dipping the lechon was definitely a weird flavor. I probably would only come back if I were in the area and to get chips, not to dine in. The Tita who was taking our order was all over the place. You could improve your customer service by greeting your customers in the eye with a smile and by saying, “Hi, I’ll be with you in just a moment.”

I ordered 150 egg rolls and most of them tasted rancid. My guests didn’t care for them after eating 1 or 2. Out of 30 people or more I ended up thrashing almost 2/3 of the egg rolls. Unsure if it’s the oil that was used because the whole tray of noodles i ordered tasted rancid too. They need to change the oil more frequently!!!! The fresh lumpia, however, was a hit. People liked them. This is not the first time i’ve bought something fried and tasted old.

Cute hole in the wall philippino place. The woman there was so helpful and nice. A combo is $9.99 and it's good. The pork/chicken/egg rolls are good. The cucumber juice is very good and sweet!

This place NEVER disappoints. Food is Wonderful. Staff is Super Nice! Tried the greens, pancit, eggrolls and they're just DELICIOUS. Beef Stew w/short ribs is undescribeable. Omg. Tender & Juicy. Great with the rice. I Highly recommend this place. Really good inexpensive buffet. Worth the money. 👍🏾👍🏾❣🤗
