Excellent find. The restaurant has been around for years. Great selection of food. I had the cheese Enchiladas. It is large inside and looks like the have a full bar. Wait staff was excellent. Great find here in Houston. 2nd visit. 12/13. Always great service! You can get in and out.

The menu is slightly limited compared to other Mexican restaurants. However the service was great and the prices are reasonable.

Love Lopez! Es Tex-Mex mas fina.. Everything here is great. Excellent fajita, enchiladas, chile con queso and many other staples plus some creative dishes like the qui, qui, rickui. Tortillas made in house, fresh salsa and great iced tea (again, everything is great). Also, service is unparalleled - so fast, so attentive. Only draw back is volume inside due to so many customers.

This was an amazing Mexican meal! I almost thought I was in Corpus Christi! The enchiladas were awesome! Can't wait to go back to Stafford and try other items on the menu!!!

Ten stars all around!!!! From the amazing customer service, to the food and drinks; everything was top tier!! The ambiance was so welcoming and we actually live closer to their Richmond location! By far the best Tex Mex I’ve ever had and we will definitely be back!!

Lopez has been a family favorite for over 10 years. All of there food is delicious, fulfilling, hot, and super cheesy! They are a family owned business that has been around for many years. Their salsa and chips are great and their queso is good. All of their food options I have had thus far have been worth every bite. They recently opened a 2nd location by Regal off 99 over a year ago. The only flaw that came of that is their menu options became less and workers dispersed, but their service and food is still top notch!

THE BEST TEX MEX in Houston, and maybe further out I’m sure … it’s so good always FRESH produce.. real real tortillas .. very very attentive wait staff. Let it be 10 seconds and you look around they are there with refills and chip and sauce refill.. 💯 Very reasonable prices for a good amount of food. Can’t beat the food or the prices nor the service. BigBoi here. Look I live in Pearland and drive my butt out of the way to eat at Lopez. It's all good. All good. I said All Good. The establishment has history. The food, look you better get some and you won't want to share. The service is like a tag team. I think there were 3 servers. Just helping out each other. TEAM WORK at its finest. Good prices, good team, good service, good drinks. I'm not joking, hive it a try. You be let down. PEACE!!!!!

My husband and I have been coming to Lopez ever since our first date over 4 years ago. Awesome staff and absolutely delicious, great quality food! My favorite drink is the grapefruit La Reina and hubby goes for the margaritas. One of our faves for sure

They have fast & fantastic service. All of our food was fresh and tender, and we didn't wait long for anything. Feels like it took less than 5min after ordering to receive food. We ordered drinks that were good, but i could do without the color sugars as one of our hands got a little blue, but nothing a quick wash couldn't fix. The staff was so friendly and attentive, just excellent service. Would highly recomend dining here.

Got a enchilada tray to go today at work. I liked the shredded chicken and cheese inside but the tortillas tasted like corn torture. The bean and rice tray is lacking in beans. Don’t even like eating the mushy rice. Just extra unflavored mush. Why would you pack rice with the one side you can’t pick the rice out of👀? I poured the salsa over the enchilada and rice to mask the undesirable taste. Salsa is spicy. Tortilla chips were, well, tortilla chips…The Togo box was great and my food was warm when I received it but I was still wasn’t fully satisfied after eating everything. Hungry…There was also no drinks. At least have water in a cup🙄 all in all If you enjoy rice filling and corn tortillas with nothing to drink order a enchilada tray to go.

Normally I would like everything about Lopez's across the board. Even during COVID, they did so many things right! I haven't been here in some time so I'm willing to say it was just an"off" night, maybe. I sure hope so, because I would hate to think the quality of the food and the experience were slipping down a notch. Tacos across the board on our table were on their way to being cold and the meat under seasoned. The enchiladas had a different taste to them. Not too bad to eat, just not the same as always. And the borracho beans were just not good. They were barely warm, way too much jalapeno that overpowered the beans, and they were undercooked and chalky. Normally I would politely and quietly say something to the server, but they were swamped and busy. Which also meant that the music playing over the top of the noise made it so loud in the place that we were all having trouble hearing one another as we visited. When you factor in the 7 times they loudly sang Happy Birthday to various tables, it just wasn't our night to have a meal with friends where you could actually HEAR one another. (Am I the only person who is ready for restaurants to stop shouting across to everyone else to join them and singing Happy Birthday loudly? Sheesh! How about a free drink or dessert with sincere compliments of the chef for a Happy Birthday? No singing or shouting.) Come back to us, Lopez! Let's just hope this was an off night. We shall see the next time.

If I had to choose between eating at a food truck and this place, this would not be chosen. Pics attached of how they purposely overcharged me for this plated trash after pretending to not fully understand English when it's Clearly on the menu!. My 2 star review is all for the margarita because it took me to be numb from the strength of the potent iced cold drink not to be pissed for what I was served. IF A CUSTOMER ASK FOR THE BEEF (Chile Rellenos) n NOT "STEAK" give them what's on your menu,please.

Wow! The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Not your typical TexMex. The dressing on the Paloma salad was so tasty. The chicken in the Enchiladas Verdes was so moist. My wife and I loved it!

Really enjoyed our visit! Been here many times always one of our favorites. The food is delicious and staff is very attentive. Very busy location but very well staffed. Love the traditional Mexican music and the beautiful design inside. Will be back soon! Hidden gem in the middle of town!

Above and beyond service! Strongly poured cocktails! Deliciously addicting chips & salsa! The entrees are just average Tex-Mex, but the other stuff makes it worth it.

We had an amazing experience at Lopez Mexican Restaurant! The service is first class, they did an excellent job of taking care of us. They got our orders out to us very fast, and we had a group of 12! I would definitely go back, and I recommend them for a large group! The only setback is that it can be very loud during the day, so it's not the place for an intimate, personal date during the day. But to me, it shows that they get a lot of business because of their service. The menu is very good, with authentic Mexican dishes and Tex-Mex as well. The prices are very reasonable, and there is adequate parking as well.

The place has changed in the 15 years since I last went but the food is still the same. Excellent full of flavor and seasoned just right. The staff is all new and not as friendly as before, but as stated I've not been in 15 years.

The food and service were five stars. Thank you, Clarissa, for checking up on us as it was our first visit. The fresh ingredients, especially the cucumber Pico, were a standout. We look forward to coming back again and getting the Enchiladas Verdes.

Been here a few times and every time I have a good experience. The food is always great. The drinks are on point. The service is awesome! I get the chimichanga and it is soooooo delicious! Highly recommend!

Wow the food was great! The steak was made just right the rice was great and even the bean paste was amazing and I'm usually picky with beans. The margaritas tasted like dish soap but everything else was real great. Authentic Tex Mex. I sure will be going back for the food.

Great Mexican cuisine: a variety of authentic dishes are available. Outstanding service from the wait staff. Enjoyed our visit and will be happy to return to this location.
