Milton was our waiter and if you can certainly ask for him. His timing was perfect, his attention not too overbearing, but was present when we needed something or a refill. The food was delicious, hot when it arrived and cooked exactly as we asked. 3 of us had the Prime rib, 2 had Coconut Shrimp, and 1 the Pork chops. We also had the Artichokes and Calamari also cooked perfectly. Cocktails also were not skimped, good pours, Sangria was tasty too. I will add, we had not been here in a while but am glad to report that all is same as all are other visits through the years.

We celebrated my mama’s 60th birthday yesterday at Laurenzo’s and it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! From the moment you walk in, the staff greet you and present high quality professionalism/catering. Our waiter, Michael, was EXCELLENT. He was very patient and responded to every single request (all while servicing multiple large groups). Beto also assisted us and treated us like family. The management and staff clearly know what customer service is about and we will be making a tradition of continuing to come to Laurenzo’s. I ordered the pizza and I loved the New York style crust and the flavor of the sauce and Italian sausage. The Italian crème cake was so good! My father ordered the prime rib and he was highly satisfied with the quality. My aunt greatly enjoyed the chopped steak as well. My uncle indicated that the seasonal beer is delicious. Do yourself and your family a favor by coming to this restaurant because it’s UNFORGETTABLE! ❤️

Food was ok, but nothing special. Overpriced for the flavor and service. It was good for one time, but not that good for me to return. I enjoyed the fact that fajitas were well done and juicy. The mini charro style beans tasted good since they had meat, although I would improve them by removing the sausage. Restroom's very clean. It has 2 parking lots. The one on the back needs several improvements! Concrete, paint, and those windows must be washed.

My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary. Our daughter is about to make her way into this world and we wanted to go to a restaurant just the two of us before she arrives. We made a reservation and were immediately seated. Once seated, we were given the house bread which was perfectly warm. Eric, then greeted us and returned with our beverages. Eric was attentive and prompt. Thank you, Eric! We started with the crab cakes, which were phenomenal! Let's not forget about the amazing clam chowder. I had the lemon butter fish topped with crab and shrimp. Y'all this dish was absolutely amazing. I was not entirely impressed with my side which was the whipped potatoes and gravy. We finished our dinner by sharing a warm brownie with ice cream. All in all, the experience was amazing and we're happy we chose to come here.

The menu is a bit expansive, but I've never had a bad entree here... It would b nice if the width of the wine menu matched the beef selection. Prime rib is my favorite for dinner. The crevice and the fried calamari were great apps .both with original recipes.

Laurenzo’s is an interesting restaurant concept from the same family behind El Tiempo Cantina, The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation, and more. The Laurenzo family has been in the restaurant industry for over 50-years through multiple generations. Domenic Laurenzo, the founder of Laurenzo’s, is the grandson of the late Mama Ninfa, the restauranteur who started it all in 1973. This restaurant is all over the place. It feels like a sports bar with all of the sports memorabilia decor and TVs. However, it’s more of a local American steakhouse with influences from Italy and Mexico. They are specifically known for their Prime Rib, but they have pizzas, pastas, fajitas, burgers, and more. They have a free private parking lot with plenty of spaces in the front and back. Depending on when you come to dine, you may need a reservation, as it was quite busy on a random Saturday night. When we were seated, they immediately gave us some complimentary bread and butter. +Complimentary Bread and Butter - 4/5 As I am a big fan of the margaritas at their sister restaurant, The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation, I wanted to check them out here as well. [DRINKS] +Blood Orange Rita (Herradura Reposado tequila, Chambord, Grand Marnier, blood orange, and cinnamon) for $17 - This didn’t do it for me. It’s big and boozy, but I wasn’t a fan of the flavor. - 3/5 As for food, we went with a Greens salad, Prime Rib, and French Fries. [INSALATE] +Small Greens (greens, smoked bacon, egg, croutons, tomatoes, carrots, roasted corn, and red cabbage) with honey lime vinaigrette dressing for $10.99 - This was a regular salad. - 3.5/5 [PRIME RIB] +12 oz Prime Rib (sub small salad for sides for an extra $4) for $47.99 - We replaced the small salad with the French Fries. The French Fries were excellent. They tasted like the thicker, wedge potato fries, but they remained thin. I personally liked them a lot and would give them a 4.5/5. As for the Prime Rib, it was definitely juicy. The taste of the meat was just okay, nothing crazy. - 3.5/5 Overall, Laurenzo’s was a fun dining experience. My favorite part was the French Fries. The margaritas and prime rib were okay. They do have other items on the menu I would like to try next from the Prime Rib Quesadillas and more. The service is hit or miss. The host was incredible at his job, but the servers dismissed our multiple requests to get a straw for a drink (we asked 3 times). If you want to experience an interesting local steakhouse from the same family behind the best Tex-Mex restaurants in Houston, check out Laurenzo’s. Come for the fries at least.

What an interesting place. Feels like it could be in Goodfellas. Laurenzos is listed as a steak house but could easily be Italian, American, or Mexican. They hit all four. It creates an odd sense of identity. This isn't a negative for me, just different. The food, service, ambiance and decor were great. I had fried oysters and the ribeye with asparagus and cream corn. Everything was fantastic. The steak was a touch on the thin side for the price, but it was cooked perfectly and seasoned wonderfully. Really good steak. Our server was highly attentive and engaged. I regret that I can't remember his name. The decor is old school but fits the vibe and the ambiance was enjoyable. If you're in the area I highly recommend and I would return. Enjoy.

This place has that old school cheesy class that is just so nostalgic. There is detail to every inch of the restaurant, servers dress in matching formal wear, but it is more of a business casual joint. This place is PACKED for every meal, and once you eat there, you get it. Their number one special is the prime rib, either cut into succulent steaks or sliced onto the best french dip I've had in my life! The menu is expansive, but everything has an air of quality and care. I look forward to returning many times to see if they make anything wrong! Haha. Keep it up guys.

Great staff and host and margaritas with their own branded tequila that you can only drink there..well, to go also now thanks to #CVD. Great prime rib and pork chops and pizza. I just wish it was spelled Lorenzo's and i would go there daily.

Amazing experience. My new favorite restaurant. Great food and great service from Milton! Lifelong Houstonian and kicking myself for not getting here sooner. Prime Rib is second to none. Horseradish is homemade and top notch. Table also had a spicy prime rib pizza and the meat melted off each bite. Finally the Italian cream cake was 8 layers of perfection. Get in there soon and ask for Milton!

The menu is quite varied. They have Tex Mex, Italian, burgers, steak, and prime rib. We were here for the prime rib. We both had the medium rare and it did not disappoint. We have passed this restaurant so many times and I am glad we finally had chance to try it out. The service was great, very attentive.

November 5, 2023: Upon arrival - our party of three (for a birthday dinner) was greeted by a gentleman that welcomed us to Laurenzo's and opened the door for us to enter the restaurant. We were asked the number in our party at the front and were promptly seated at a table near the center of the restaurant....that had a slight wobble. Oscar, our waiter, immediately noticed it upon bringing bread and beverages to our table. He returned with wedges and napkins for placement underneath; problem solved 👏. Our order was promptly taken: oysters as an appetizer (interesting breading on the oyster but tasty; oysters have been smaller in size this season unfortunately), and our entree orders. Our entrees (shrimp/oyster platter w/mashed potatoes and green peas, lasagna w/fries, and beetand walnut salad with salmon) arrived and we were pleased with the portion size and taste. Seeing is believing so enjoy the photos. The waiters were kind to seranade us a bit while bringing the birthday dessert. We expect birthday desserts at higher end restaurants but Laurenzo's has set the bar with the one offered at their establishment with sparkler candle and the traditional candle. I'm not a chocolate cake (or brownie) fan (I prefer yellow cake as well as lemon cake) but their cake/brownie reminds me of german (semi-sweet) chocolate cake - DELICIOUS without the ice cream that was provided with it (nice touch and was enjoyed by the others at the table). We enjoyed the food and ambiance at Laurenzo's; kudos to Oscar, the Laurenzo staff and family. The guests also enjoyed the Texans winning the game 🏈👏.

This place feels like my second home. Whenever I need a pick-me-up, I can't resist ordering the shrimp and grits—it's my go-to comfort food. However, I'm a bit disappointed that they leave the tails on, as it wasn't always like that. I'd rather not have to "work" on removing the shells when I just want to enjoy my meal. Overall, it's a wonderful place to dine and savor quality time with great friends and family.

Everything was on point from the crab cakes and calamari as appetizers to the prime rib and a warm fudgy brownie with ice cream for dessert. Really cool jerseys and pictures all over the walls, too.

We had a great meal and great service. Our waiter, Oscar, was fantastic. The prime rib was delicious and so tender, like butter. That was the best French dip sandwich I've ever had. I sampled the gumbo and wow, so good. We will definitely be back!

Cool spot with plenty of food options for sit down meals or grab a bite and go. Crab cakes and calamari for the win for me.

Ok soooooo I love good food and I enjoy going out a great deal, however what really makes it “special” for me when I go out is the total experience not just the food. There are some restaurants that have great food, but I’ll not give them a single dime because the customer service is so poor. This is NOT the case at Laurenzo’s! I have not had a bad meal, nor have I experienced poor customer service. I failed to take a photo of my food tonight because I just dug in, but I had the filet mignon with grilled shrimp 🦐, asparagus, queso blanco rice, and the AMAZING creamed corn 🌽!!! Lemme tell you I am FAT FULL and ready for a nap 😴! This is a must go to if you are visiting Houston or if you live in Houston. The atmosphere is very chill and gives very much a friendly home type vibe! The staff are all welcoming and provide you with awesome service. The one opportunity for growth they have is they don’t serve sweet tea. I am willing to forgive this though because everything else is A1! The floor supervisors all come around and check in at appropriate times to ensure you are having an awesome dinning experience! I am 100% a fan of Laurenzo’s!!! I implore you, give this place a try, you will NOT regret it! (If I miss spelled something charge it to my head and not my heart! I’m writing this after a full meal and I just want to lay down and relax!!) :-)

Been here twice. Make sure Oscar is your waiter. He's attentive, funny, and will make sure you're well taken care of. Bellini drink: 5/5 Coconut shrimp: 4/5 (don't like the orange-flavored dip) Cheesecake: 4.5/5 Ravioli: 3/5 Fish & chips: 5/5 Free bread with butter: 5/5 Chicken parmigiana: 3/5 Lasagna: 3/5 Creamed spinach: 5/5 All dishes taste fresh. The flavors in the lasagna and ravioli were meh. Not a fan of either. The ravioli sauce could be better. The dish I enjoyed the most was the fish and chips. The batter for the fish was different than at other places I've had fish and chips. And the fries were the right amount of crunchiness with good flavor. The tartar sauce was good but the ketchup had a mild horseradish flavor that I didn't like. The service overall is great. The restrooms are clean. The decor is vintage with a lot of sports memorabilia. I don't know if it’s because it was Mother's Day and lots of people but it was quite cold.

My first time at Lorenzo's and it was incredible evening meal! Ticked all the boxes for each of our party of 4...delicious food (I had fried shrimp which I seldom order when out, due to suspicious nature of freshness) and it was awesome...fresh, crisp and everything I could have wished for; with a side of stuffed baked potato. The others all had Prime Rib, and "yummmmm" was all that was said while enjoying each bite. Wine, although a red, was chilled just a tiny bit to add to the fullness of flavor (so good). Our waitperson, Eric, was attentive, personable and was a boon to our overall pleasure. We will be going back!

“Thursday steak night”. $39.99 any steak plus a side and a salad. I had a prime rib. It was unbelievable and the Caesar salad was also great. service spectacular and the atmosphere was perfect. Love this place.

I wish the bread was that thicker and more dense type French bread but it's still okay. The side soup is served in a shot glass it's so tiny I mean. Very good reminds me of back home but it's more of like the kind you serve if your tables food will take long and it's given out for free because it's so small. Coming from Chicago and eating this kind of food regularly the price it had didn't add up to it's expectations. The staff saw us waiting and nobody really said anything they came back after a third time of just staring at us it was kind of odd.

Great place in Houston to indulge in delicious food! We loved to eat here every time we visit Houston. We do see a lot of attorneys, especially two very interesting ones by the name of Morfin and His Dad. We were told that they were regulars. The place has great margaritas, Houston’s Best! I’m not a drinker , but my friends are, and this is their drinking Favorite place. Congratulations to the owners. Most sincerely, B.C’s entourage of Hawaiian 🌺 Customers 🐳 🐬 🐠🐟 🐬 🐳

I would rather this place 5 star. it's excellent, it's fancy and romantic, but also casual and sports geared. Renee was our waiter, excellent! The 2 meals we ordered, you could actually eat two meals off of each order. Will be back! First time here. Would be great to take father's here for Father's Day!!!

Be sure to make reservations at this place on weekends because it is always full and busy. Jessica waited on us and took great care of us. We had the prime rib which was cooked to perfection , sausage pizza, and greek salad. It is a few days before Christmas and they have the entire restaurant decorated so beautifully and playing Christmas music.

Great place for business lunch or casual dinner. Lively atmosphere but quiet enough to have a conversation. Been here multiple times and they never disappoint. This visit I had the daily fish special (redfish) prepared Durango style — sauce was sautéed tomatoes and jalapeños with plenty of shrimp and crabmeat. Came with cup of seafood gumbo which was very good as well.

Brunch here is a delight. This is not a bottomless mimosas kind of brunch. Just solid food with wonderful service. The menu is a mix of Mexican and Italian dishes, but the brunch menu offers up classics. I ordered the Cape Cod Eggs Benedict. Crab and spinach with a lovely hollandaise. Home fries, pancakes that were crepe-like, and the creamiest grits I've had in a very long time. Table mates said they'd just come for the grits ...

We came for dinner on a Sunday evening. There were plenty of tables available and we were seated as soon as we walked in. Our server was great! He was polite and friendly, and was very attentive without being intrusive. We started out with a delicious and very fresh guacamole. We all enjoyed our food. I had the prime rib, which was delicious. Overall a great place to enjoy a good dinner.

Great food, amazing atmosphere and all around well priced. Staff was very attentive and thorough with their service. I had the 12oz prime rib blackened with a side of creamed peas, cooked perfectly to right temperature and peas had the perfect balance of whipped and sweet without it being overbearing.
