Amazing. Crawfish was good, but the oysters! The grilled oysters are a must have - l grilled right in front of you and literally melts in your mouth...

The service, green beans, mashed potatoes and bread were good. Nothing was over the top special. Shrimp gumbo was bland, but I found all the spices in my crab(less) stuffed shrimp. I can handle spicy, but this was ridiculous. Too spicy, little to no crab meat, and just didn't taste good.

Friendly, courteous server answered all my questions. Excellent housemade croutons! The rest of the food was just ok. Chicken and sausage gumbo was bland and contained very little sausage. Caesar salad was decent, dressing also housemade, with those great croutons. Served with garlic bread.

Jimmy G's is a local family owned establishment with great service, great sea food, and a great atmosphere. Oysters are fresh and served un a variety of ways. If you have an opportunity to try Jimmy G's, make sure you take advantage of it. Great place to eat or drink at the bar.

Stopped here while on a layover, service was super friendly and the food was great! We had oysters, frog legs, blackened redfish and crawfish. Highly recommend stopping here, we’ll be back if we find ourselves back in Houston

My food was bland but at least my sister's was good. I would have reordered but i was so hungry that I kept my food. She got the broiled stuffed shrimp. I had blackened fish and jambalaya. My brother got shrimp po boy over all quiet atmosphere. Family friendly. Our waitor was great. Mom had fried shrimp and the kids burger portion was so worth the price!

Tender, moist flaky flavorful grilled oysters for the most part. One or two were slightly burned at edges. Somewhat pricy ($12.95 for 1/2 dozen) but came with garlic bread. Yes the decor is dated and it doesn't look like much from the outside. Staff was extremely attentive for a Saturday night dinner (6pmish). Tried some key lime pie for dessert. Good tart undertone to it. Want to try some other seafood joints while I'm in town but I didn't regret eating here.

Food good, atmosphere dated, service ok.. we were skeptical when we entered, the staff at our hotel recommended the restaurant.. however after we ordered and tried the food we were pleasantly surprised! The grilled oysters were good, the gumbo was delicious and the stuffed shrimp were amazing. I'm glad we didn't judge this book by its cover .
