I
haven't
been
to
a
real
German
restaurant
since
being
stationed
at
Ramstein,
AB
W.
Germany
in
the
80's.
Found
Rudi
Lechner's
by
searching
Yelp.
Went
for
dinner
tonight.
Greeted
and
seated
immediately
buy
a
hostess
dressed
in
a
traditional
style
German
dress.
Our
waitress,
also
in
German
attire,
came
to
the
table
very
shortly
after
we
were
seated.
Both
hostess
and
waitress
were
very
friendly.
The
atmosphere
was
definitely
traditional
German,
even
had
live
music
by
a
gentleman
playing
nice
German
music
on
an
accordion
and
sang
some
songs
also
in
German.
It
was
awesome!
We
received
our
drinks
quickly
along
with
a
plate
of
zucchini
bread
and
regular
bread.
Both
delicious.
The
food
arrived
in
very
good
time
and
was
delicious!!!!
My
wife
ordered
traditional
wiener
schnitzel,
spaetzel,
and
mixed
veggies.
I
had
the
Heritage
Sampler
Plate
because
I
wanted
a
bit
of
everything
:-)
It
had
Pork
Loin,
Pork
Wiener
Schnitzel,
Cabbage
Roll,
Grilled
Knockwurst,
Roast
Chicken,
Austrian
Potatoes,
Red
Cabbage,
Sauerkraut,
and
Potato
Pancake
(Latke)
Also
had
a
very
good
Edleweizen
-
Hefeweizen
wheat
beer
on
tap.
Very
tasty!
We
ordered
apfel
strudel
and
Black
Forest
cake
to
take
home.
*Note
if
you
are
allergic
to
nuts
-
the
zucchini
bread
as
well
as
apfel
struedel
have
nuts
in
them
and
we
weren't
made
aware
of
that.
We
will
absolutely
be
going
back!
