Delicious food and yummy margaritas! Great service and love that the ‘s brand is still alive and still doing what they do best!

It's been many years since we've been to Nina's, my girlfriend said she wasn't a big fan before but we decided to give it a try since we like El Tiempo so much. Starting with the chips and salsa, not a fan of the red sauce, we decided on fajitas for two, fajita meat was tender but so bland, had no seasoning at all. Tortillas were good. Service was not so great, my girlfriend finished her water and mine and was only offered a refill when we asked for our check. The people next to us never were served their chips and salsa. We were extremely disappointed and will probably not return. There is way better Mexican food places to go, especially for the prices. Ninfas is way over priced for not good food. Well until next time signing off Two Peas.

great for fast takeout! we get the chicken fajitas whenever we don’t want to go out and everyone will eat something there. a little on the salty side, however.

Decided to go out before work invited a friend. We were greeted by a friendly staff at front door. We were immediately seated at a table of our choice. The chips and sauces were fresh and had a good taste. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was hot and fresh. The margarita was on point. Will return soon. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

We thought this place was good, not amazing and not bad. The food is the main reason I went 4 star instead of 3. We also enjoyed their homemade salsas…one was guacamole based and the other one was almost like enchilada flavored red sauce. The service was ok, our waiter brought us a box and saw my wife hadn’t boxed her take home and still took her plate from her. I feel it was a little too expensive for what it was but to be fair we would go again.

I've always went to the express location in the Galleria. Flavor and quality is consistent. They are better about seasoning their food than most Mexican restaurants in the area, which are very bland. Yet, they could still use a little more seasoning. Overall, was piping hot, fresh, and delicious. Server was warm and attentive.

Incredible! I haven’t been to Ninfa’s in a while, but I was very happy with my experience and plan to come here more often. Great service, not very busy, phenomenal food! We ordered the fajitas for two and we had plenty of authentic flour tortillas compared to other restaurants that only give you 2 or 3 at a time. The sides were plentiful for each person. The meat was delicious, juicy, and well seasoned. One of my go to for Mexican food now!

Very clean and great service. I was expecting more from the food based on the restaurant's history. It was good, but I expected it to challenge El Tiempo, which it did not.

My wife and I met our friends who live in the neighborhood around Ninfa’s to have dinner and get caught up on their current life. We used to frequent this eatery when we lived in Houston so we were so happy to go there for dinner. I’d forgotten how good Ninfa’s food truly is. I had the shrimp and beef fajita platter and my wife had the cheese enchilada platter. You can get these in some eateries but nothing like the taste of Ninfa’s food. Next time we go to Houston, we will join our friends who live close by and have an excuse to eat at Ninfa’s!

So i ordered food to go and I had things miss the manager didn’t know what happened to it and said it was placed in the bag. They didn’t even try to make it right So let’s talk about the food this location is nothing like the original location. Everything is med even the margaritas lack flavor. The sauce and chips are are good. The environments lacks energy the ambience music um it’s not any no one is there but large families with a lot of kids so the peace of mind u can cancel that are a peasant dinner date u cancel this location is like a Knock off of the original and they ain’t doing a good job they doing and ok job and it’s sad but I will drive out the way to the navigation location

I picked up red sauce and green sauce to take back to Austin. Everyone was so kind and helpful. A most pleasant change from the Ninfa's in Waco, TX, where I got blank stares when I ordered sauce to go and after offering me a soda while waiting they wanted to charge me for it. They should have asked, "would you like to purchase a drink?" I almost felt as if they were going to tack on an air usage fee. Anyway, the Houston Ninfa's on Memorial is awesome.

All the dishes was good but the prices are higher than other Tex-Mex restaurants which are equally as good. Gratitude was added to our check even though we only had 5 in our party but the manu stated gratitude added on a party of 6 or more.

Tex-Mex is a hard cuisine to elevate or turn upscale. But Ninfa's does it better than anyone. I'll give the quick overview. Service? Absolutely on point. We had a great waiter who got our requests perfect. Neither of us ran out of tea and the chips were refilled. Our waiter was even thoughtful enough to offer to-go cartons. Food? Overall, excellent, but with some room for improvement. I had the tacos al carbon. The beef and chicken were both grilled to perfection, although the chicken could've benefitted from a touch more seasoning. The tortillas were good as well. The queso that came with my dinner was good, but I've had better. And I definitely wasn't a fan of the rice, which was more like a saffron rice with peas than the more classic Spanish rice. The chips were good, but the salsa's consistency was different than the usual salsa and didn't have much of a kick to it. All in all, if you want grilled Mexican food in a more upscale environment, Ninfa's does the trick. The rest of the Tex-Mex experience could use a bit more fine tuning.

Amazing Tex-Mex cuisine! This restaurant, quality of food and its preparation, ambience, and attitude of staff would make original founder, "Mama Ninfa," very proud, God rest her soul! Delicious carne asada (grilled flank/fajita steak) cooked accurately according to request of customer! Amazing beef fajita nachos! High-quality cuts of chicken breast and beef used to prepare dishes. I have ordered take-out repeatedly from this location and was so pleased with everything! Quesadillas will make you "do cartwheels!" Muchas Gracias, Ninfa's Memorial!

Visited here Friday night. Got food to go. Service was fast, professional and friendly. Don’t let recent negative comments deter you from supporting this local business.

Typical TexMex. Ground beef on everything. Sauces were quite good. Salsas are blended not chunky so tasted different but good. The green sauce seemed to be a puree of tomatillos and avocado. It went well on the taco. Tamale was fair. House marks were quite good.

It's not common that a restaurant is in business over 40 years and still be good. My husband and I came here on our first date in 1981. We've recently moved back to the area and come to eat here on a whim. The food is just as good as then. We will be back.

Sadly this is one of our neighborhood venues we gone to years. Went out of way to support it beginning during lock down era knowing the restaurant and staff needed all our local help We had bizarre experience recently even waited day or so wrote letter to GM / Proprietor. Never a call or concern so leaving our disgust here now and never supporting this venue again. We ordered if not fined in weekly or more long time and ordered for companies we do biz with and fed their team from here. No more we are done
