I just left one pizza joint because it had a obvious Bisquick crust..so gross! So I came here..I walk in and everyone j(employees, weren't any customers) stared at me, I sat myself and ordered a cheese pizza..the crust was better than the last place but they used too much grease. And most importantly, there's something missing in the sauce. It's like tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and sugar.. definitely sweeter and NOT a full flavored sauce. I wouldn't recommend. They have potential but they're not there yet..

The place has good pizza. It's probably deserving of a slightly higher rating but the manager stopped an employee from taking our order and made us get up and go to the counter. I understand that that may be how we are supposed to order but we were halfway finished. He could have just told the dude on the side or something. I would surely eat the food again but I'm not too sure of this particular location.

Heard great references and it smelled heavenly when we walked in the door. We were not let down as the food was amazing. I am very picking and love good, fresh Italian food. All their food is fresh, home-made and not frozen. We ordered the Chicken Piccata and Stromboli Calzone with Sicilian Limon Soda and Tea. Delicious, perfectly seasoned,nicely portioned and we will be back soon for sure.

Amazing place for halal pizzas! Their Italian meatball pizza is epic!

I am from New York and have very high pizza standards. This pizza is the best pizza you will get in Texas!!! Staff is wonderful and the ambiance inside the restaurant reminds me of New York. They also have halal options, which is superb. I always have a good experience here. It doesn't get better than this.

I ordered a meat lovers pizza for pickup. Upon arriving I picked up my pizza without checking, as I have ordered from this location before. Upon arriving home 15 minutes later and checking the box the pizza was burnt on the bottom so much that the toppings were crunchy. I called and informed employee that I would return the pizza and requested a fresh one. I arrived 15 mins later, exchanged the pizza, was told “ we made you another one”. I was not offered as little as a drink for my trouble even though the person preparing that pizza had to know it was not fit to consume upon slicing into it. With that said I will not support this business again but will resume supporting the Meyerland location which has never disappointed me.

Came here for lunch and was highly disappointed with the food. The cheesecake I got tasted like it was spoiled like it didn’t sit up like normal cheesecake. The pizza I got was mediocre all they did was throw toppings on to an already made cheese pizza no flavor not to mention my toppings slide off waste of $20 bucks. The salad was basic could of done without all of it! I hate wasting $$ on bad food the worse…if you like bland food this is the spot!!! 🤦🏾‍♀️

Just order a half and half pizza to have delivered. The pizza was on time I added extra topping. But when I open the box the crust was over cooked, the pizza had chicken on it and I did ask for that topping. But, the sausage on the pizza smelled spoiled and tasted terrible. I have been to a different locate and I pizza was good. I will never eat at Kirby again

I love that they offer halal toppings for their pizzas. I would come back for that reason alone. The pizza itself is otherwise pretty average. I got the Italian Works pizza and nothing stood out about it but that’s not a bad thing.

Both the pizza and spaghetti and meat balls were made to order which was awesome and both were great.

I love Russo’s. Let’s get that out the way. I lived near the location on Beechnut. My go to was always the Greek salad. So amazing. And sweet staff. This location however is a major downer. I just moved to this area and it kinda breaks my heart to know this Russo will not be a regular spot of mine. The Greek salad was okay. It tasted a bit off. The bread they gave us was hard to chew. Not fresh or crispy. My partner ordered the chicken parm sandwich and she had to ask for ranch sauce to make it better. Dry and not good at All. When it was time to go we asked for some to go boxes and the guy seem hesitant to give them to us. We had to take home my salad, her sandwich and my soup. He gave her one box. He dropped it off and walk away. I said excuse me can I have one for my food too? He looked over to some guy who nodded and gave him the go. As if he didn’t know if he could give me another box. Like wth. I had soup and salad left. It’s really silly to even type this but it’s crazy how the staff at one particular location can change your entire outlook on an establishment. I’m willing to go to the Beechnut location but damn I shouldn’t have to. I hope they get their ish together and treat people with kindness and strive to ensure tastiness.

Overall a good experience. Food was good. My wife and I preferred the Italian Works over the New York Village. We did also add ricotta cheese to the entire pizza as well. The service was amazing. The gentleman up front was very patient with us even though we came in kinda close to closing time and we had no idea what we were doing. The main reason for a 3 star rating is that I felt that the price to food ratio was a little off. For a medium pizza with an additional topping came up to $21.00.

Slice was huge! Starts at basic cheese then you add what you want for a charge. Gotta wait for it to come out but it's fresh. I think they should invest in red pepper and Parmesan cheese packets.

We so loved this place we made an online order anf they was there in a very timely manner. Our order was correct and the delivery person was very polite. The food was so amazing we truly enjoyed the meal.

Great food and prices! I'll definitely got here again when I'm back in town.
