Cute little park in the middle of Downtown to relax, unwind and walk your dog. The night views are amazing and there is a Greek restaurant right in the middle of the park. The park also has an enclosed pet area.

The is what I would consider to be a local commodity for those who have K9 companions. Being a very calm shady spot to enjoy a quick rest for both you and your four legged friends. With the attached, fully gated and fenced dog park area; a sizeable living grass potty pad, and abundance of disposal areas, stocked with bar(f)k bags to pick up droppings. The grounds are well maintained by the city staff as well as the local urban campers who take on the duty(pun intended) of maintaining the appearance and sanitary condition of the area when some less considerate persons are in too big of a hurry to do so themselves. With a Nico's snack bar on site, this a pleasing little venue featuring peaceful fountains displaying reflective beauty for a passer by. Who would have thought such a humble quiet place still exist within the big bustling city of Houston, TX

This is a nice city block full kid and pet friendly features. There isn’t a parking lot, just street parking. That’s cool, it’s downtown. I used to come here to meet up for bike rides and came today for an event. Keep up the great work.

Pretty park, beautiful flowers, colorful structures, fountains and an amazing tribute to historical heros through a structure at its one of the entrances. Nice restaurant. You can rent a bike from there, sit and relax. Although it s surrounded by tall buildings and market near by yet quiet and lively.

Market Square Park is an exceptional venue that hosts a vibrant Mexican bike festival filled with love for fancy bikes and energetic sounds. The festival attracts a large crowd of enthusiastic participants, creating an electric atmosphere. The event showcases an impressive display of unique and stylish bikes, reflecting the passion and creativity of the biking community. The accompanying music adds to the lively ambiance, further enhancing the festive spirit. However, it's important to note that one minor drawback of the festival is the presence of marijuana smoking. While this may not be to everyone's liking, it's important to be aware of the atmosphere surrounding the event.

Lauren's Garden was so amazing. 911 was such a sad day in our history and this beautiful young woman and her unborn son were on the plane that struck the pentagon. I visited with the Catucci family and my heartbreaks. Amazing people ❀️. Lauren's Garden has a dog park. Beautiful water fall and such a rich history. Market Square is where you'll find Lauren's Garden.

We walked quite a while to visit this area and it was just a patch of fake grass and some seating. There was a small area to get food and the baklava was amazing.

This is by far the best place to have an outdoor moment in the Downtown District: on your next lunch hour on a beautiful Houston afternoon, try online ordering from Niko-Nikos then renting a bike at the North-East corner of the park. Do yourself a favor and ride down Main to the Bayou trails at UHD. All it takes is 15-20 minutes of this beautiful ride round-trip to raise your spirits and your heart-rate (and metabolism). Head back to pickup and enjoy your lunch under one of the many oaks at Market Square πŸš΄πŸš΄β€β™€οΈβš‘πŸŒžπŸŒ²πŸ₯™πŸ˜‹ Even more fun with a coworker or friend!!

Park is nice but some areas smell strongly of dog urine/feces and there is a lot of homeless people around but overall a nice scenic area close to downtown. There's also a cvs near by and it's a 5 min walk away from the POST

I planned an outing with my friends for the outdoor movie. It was wonderful. The weather was great and we had plenty of room for a large group. Having Niko Niko’s in the park is wonderful. The location is perfect. Parking can be challenging so get there early. Bring your picnic blanket, drinks, and maybe a few snacks. I didn’t bring pillows this time but I definitely will in the future. I look forward to the next event here.

After enjoying a Thanksgiving meal with the family we went to downtown Houston to look at lights and found this park. It was very clean and friendly there. Everyone was respectable and enjoyed their evening.

It's always so tidy and well kept considering it's a dog park. I am glad that Hose with block by block was able to give me highlights of the city including the underground mall. πŸ›οΈ πŸ’„ πŸ‘

Very nice park, very modern. Restaurant opens at 9 instead of 10. Dog park is nice but smells strongly like a dog park. You should probably wash your shoes after bringing your dog there

Easy street parking everywhere and plenty of pay lots nearby if you'd rather do that.

A friend and I ended our evening here with a nice walk. The park was clean, well kept, with great lighting. We felt safe and welcomed I'll definitely visit again.

Great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy markets on weekends! There is a dog park within the park and it is perfect place for doggy owners! Restroom could be an issue on crowded night, I usually walk across the street the Bravery Chef Hall and use their clean restroom there 😬.

We had a fantastic work gathering while enjoying NikoNikos cuisine and drinks in the atmosphere of Market Square! We arrived a little early before the live music started, but we wished we could have remained longer! Excellent location for enjoying the weather and people!

The smell of dog urine when you get close to the dog park is a bit gross but other then that the park is fairly nice. There's a large green area where it seems people come to play catch with their children but it'd be nice if they added some lawn games as well.

December '22 @7pm (cold weather) Quaint area with relaxing vibes. I didn't stay long but the time I experienced was relaxing, enjoying, and interesting. There was a gentleman who was asking for help buying food. I can assume he was homeless but I can't guarantee it. That was a little off putting. Now, because I witnessed that, I was very surprised by the bathroom. I was expecting DISGUSTING but I received MEHH. That means, it was usable without thoughts of contacting anything. I would love to experience the fall season here.

Nice place! Decent surroundings, mix of people. Fountains, trees, plenty of options to eat and drink within easy walking distance. Best part, right in the park, Niko Nikos! Ate a HUGE gyro, delicous!!

Nice environment. Plenty of beautiful people. One thing though. Sunday around 4:30 pm. A group of persons started playing loud music with cursing. Also I smelled marijuana. Security was present but no action was taken. Came back and saw pet owners allowed the dogs to use the turf for the bathroom. I have seen children roll around on the turf. The g9d thing is that this park has a dog park connected to the grounds. ??????!!!!
