Fascinating place filled with an immense amount of knowledge and information! Whether you’re a space enthusiast or not, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. The facility is neatly organized and laid out with various sections and areas. Additionally, maps and employees are everywhere to assist with navigating. Tickets are very reasonably priced and allows for free roam to choose what activities/exhibits you would like to visit. The only restriction is how much time you have to spare. They have 3 itinerary plans that corresponds to how much time you would like to stay there - 2 hours, 5 hours, 7+ hours. The choice is yours! The only recommendation for change with the facility is to make the prices for photographs more reasonable. Upon entering, everyone gets a group photo taken (which we all know those are never FREE). In fact, they’re $30 here, which is essentially the price of another entry ticket which is absolutely asinine. Many people were just taking pictures of the kiosk screen of the group photo instead of buying it which I don’t blame them.

My family and I visited the Space Center in Houston and it was great! Staff were courteous and helping and the facilities were very clean! We purchased the City Pass because we were only in the area for Spring break so we used it for other venues. The wait was fast. Literally, never stopped walking through the line until we arrived at purse check and then again to scan the electronic tickets. We went on a Tuesday. We spent all day there and still did not see everything. Get Tram and virtual rides tickets early because they sell out fast. The exhibits were very interesting and kept our 10 year-old daughter engaged. The two virtual rides were awesome. It was as if we were truly in space. Loved it!! We all left with huge smiles on our faces and vowed it was well worth the money and will be on our list to return to.

Space Center Houston was a good outing. You have to pay for on premises parking via app. City pass barcode scans you right in and you don't need a separate ticket which is a plus. Several shows and movies to watch with a good number of paraphernalia from astronauts and missions. You can touch a piece of space rock! The highlight was walking inside of the space shuttle and the 747 jumbo jet that ferried the shuttle. You don't have to take tram to see the shuttle and the line is very long to go see essentially the Saturn V rocket. Separate ticket to see mission control. Overall, after seeing the Kennedy Space Center in FL, this one isn't as exciting. Kids will love it though.

This place is amazing, would recommend coming when it first opens. We got there by 930am and there was a line on a Saturday already. We reserved the blue tram when we got inside and did the tour which was super fun. Some I had little ones doing the blue tram was a better option. Also, I recommend bringing cash. The gift stores credit card machines were not working and we couldn’t get nothing. Next time, we will be more prepared. Wish we could have deep dived every corner but having toddlers it was kinda hard. Pro tip of photos, utilize your panorama setting on your phone. You’ll be able to be in the picture with rockets. Have walking shoes and water on hand. They don’t allow selfie sticks or extra camera set ups.

We enjoyed our visit. We live in FL near Kennedy Space Center and have been many times. We liked the way this is laid out in one building, easy to navigate, and makes it a great thing to do on a rainy day! It is much smaller than KSC, but the pricing is about the same, so it's a little pricey in comparison. Overall, we loved it!

Perfectly organised and well arranged and huge museum. I recommend to come before 10 am and purchase the ticket either online or in the kiosk left to the entrance. I spent over 4 hours and easily could spend more. I definitely recommend going to watch both movies available. Also board the train/tram and make a round around to see where all the scientist work. Many attractions are made for kids but even as a adult person I really enjoyed it. Big thing for me was "Touching the moon"! Wow. Their gift and souvenir stores are both well equipped. Only sad thing is that some L and XL t-shirts were not available. But there is a huge selection anyway. I also like the "Ground Control" food court. Don't forget to download their mobile app for details. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Houston.

Visited again after many years. What a great place. So much to do and see. Lots of educational exhibits. Great gift shop. Food cost was really good considering the captive audience. Come for the day. The tram tours fill up so need to book those virtually as soon as you can. It can get crowded.

This place has something for everybody! Our group spent 5 hours here, and honestly could have spent another hour or two to really see everything. I definitely recommend looking on the website to see what each tram tour covers to ensure you find the best tour/tours for you. You must reserve your spot on the tram tours, which is free to do through the Space Center app. Also, I highly recommend reserving a space for any of the virtual reality attractions, if that is something you are interested in. We arrived at 1 pm, and all spots were taken through the end of the day!

This was fun. I felt like a kid again. It definitely takes a day if you do the Tram Tours. You should get the Historic Mission Control Tour, it is special. The trams are outside, so dress for the weather. You can bring in food, etc. At least we did, so a picnic will save you some money. Overall, I highly recommend for adults and children. There is a lot more for adults than you would expect.

Maybe I missed something as this place seemed so small with not a lot to see. Paid for the General Admission and there were no tours left to book. I recommend booking in advance. There was much more to see at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. We were don in under 2 hours.

It is a cool place and definitely has a lot of good information. My only critique is that it is definitely made for children and not really so much for adults which me and my wife went there and it was a good time but you can tell it was designed for children. Definitely worth seeing but one thing I dislike about it is that, a simple water bottle is four dollars and everything costs money and extra money so not only are the tickets expensive but then on top of that they nickel and dime you on every little thing which I don’t care for. It’s definitely kind of a tourist trap. Overall, it is worth visiting, but I would not go back. The aircraft museum in Dayton Ohio is far superior in every way if you are into space.

Great experience for the family. A little pricey for all that's involved. Lots to learn and experience. Great photo ops and they do get you with nice pictures to purchase too. Nice gift shop, but the food court was basically closed and barely offered anything. Lots of walking and it is handicap accessible for scooters and wheelchairs.

Great experience. Lots of information and lots of photo ops available. Staff were super knowledgeable which adds to the experience. And some interactive components were available. Tram tours were interesting but maybe not worth the queues under the heat and 15 dollars unless you are really interested in the content. It was dark over some parts of the exhibits but it was good atmosphere. A few things that can be improved. Install misters over the trams. The weather is insanely hot. The queues can also be improved in the morning, was told to leave the queue to collect tickets, only to know that we need to go back into that same queue again after.

Not at all as big as the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, but still a good place to visit and learn about the History of human space travels, etc. Very interesting, and educational. Entrance fee is average, but loved how they offered military discounts. Lots of parking spaces were available on the day we went which was on a Saturday in Jan 2022. Clean facility. You have to wear facial masks at all times due to Covid. Interactive displays. When you enter into the facility, make sure to make arrangements for your free Appointment Only Tour Tram rides at the Guest Services area. They only allow so many people on the Tram rides due to capacity. I gave this place 3 stars because of the extremely rude and despicable way customers were treated in the Gift Shop towards closing time. A Manager in the Gift Shop announced in the store speakers that they will be closing the store in 10 minutes. He adamantly announced to ALL the shoppers and supporters of this facility to, "Make your last choice, and fall in line right now. I will be walking around the Gift Shop, and if I see you still shopping, I will have you personally escorted by our security guards out of this facility." We absolutely did not like his announcement. We felt like peasants being forced to get in line. We only spent $125 on items, but I can guarantee it that we would've spent a lot more if we didn't hear such a bullied-type demanding announcement. Never have I ever heard of such a thing. People waiting in line to check out were also complaining on how rude the announcement was. His behavior makes Americans look bad towards visitors from other countries. What a horrible way to end our fun visit. Another reason why this facility gets 3 stars from us was because the Tour Guide from our Tram ride kept making mistakes the whole entire time. After all her constant mistakes and apologies, it was difficult to believe anything she had to say. We recommend at least giving your Tour Guides a cheat sheet to look at if they are unsure of themselves. We know there's a lot of history to remember, but if the Tour Guides are the teachers, and the visitors are the students, it would be nice if they have the right information to begin with.

Amazing. Spent a whole day here and did the Mission Control Tour. Got to get there right when they open to beat the crowds. We were able explore the 747, Space Shuttle, and Falcon X rocket by ourselves without the crowds. I would go to those attractions first since the regular exhibits can wait if you are able to get in when they open. Tip - book your tickets online because you can get in an hour earlier. Their hours to the public say 10am but you can get tickets to enter in at 9am. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing exhibits, extremely well documented and informative. You’d need a whole day here at least. Loved the real displays of the space shuttle that you can walk into. 🚀 You will feel a sense of respect and awe for what humanity has accomplished and hope for further space exploration. 🔭 Hats off to NASA for this incredible showcase of advanced technology. 📡

I recently visited the NASA Space Center Houston, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! The exhibits are both educational and engaging, allowing visitors to learn about the history of space exploration and the wonders of the universe in an interactive way. The highlight for me was the tram tour to go see the rocket housed in their warehouse. It was amazing to see such a piece of history in-person! The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, and the overall atmosphere is inspiring. If you have any interest in space or science, this is a must-visit destination.

So much to see! I'd recommend a bit of planning and arrive early if you want to do a tram tour as they fill quickly! Also be prepared for lots of people. They have a nice food court but we took a bottle of water with us as the vending machine was $3.60 for 1 bottle! Water fountains are available. It was quite educational and fun

Very pricey but worth it. My older kids (17, almost 18 and 20) had a blast. There's theater rooms that show amazing educational videos from the perspectives of the astronauts which we loved so much. We spent a bit much at the gift shop and on the photo you take upon entering but overall totally worth it. My daughter had been wanting to come to NASA for years and all of her dreams came true 🔭💫 I’d love to return when we have more time (and energy) there’s so much to see here.

I agree that this place is amazing, however we caught COVID on our visit here. The lines are incredibly long, and there is no social distancing whatsoever. Most exhibits don't have proper ventilation and there are no staff members to control how many people are inside at a time. If you do go be sure to be there as soon as they open so you can avoid the crowds.

What a cool experience. If your science nerve this is definitely worth a spot! I only took off a star because it was extremely crowded which felt very uncomfortable due to the pandemic. I wish they had staff limiting how many people could enter small areas at a time. This is a great place to take kids, but I want to be interactive exhibits.

Simply brilliant experience. For all those kids who at some point in their life dreamt of being an astronaut and flying off into space can actually revitalize their interest by visiting her. I visited here on a bright Sunday morning of February 5, 2023. General admission tickets of adults cost us $30 per head and we bought the tickets online in advance, had to pay an additional $10 for parking while purchasing the ticket. We were 4 people in 2 cars, so that 1 parking ticket was enough for the 2 cars. No one checked whether we had the parking ticket or not. So that I guess can be avoided. About the space center, no words are enough. It will atleast take you 4 solid hours to cover everything - that's the minimum. The general admission tickets include the guided team tour, the destiny theatre shows (whole day some or the other show is on here, please refer to display boards once inside). The guided Tram tour takes you to Rocket Park (where Saturn V is preserved) and Astronaut Training Facility. Also you get to see the vast area across which the facility is spread. The food court is good and prices are reasonable. But the beverage prices are way too high. The gift shop center is good too. Overall for me it was an experience of a lifetime.

Visiting the Space Center is totally worth the trip. My favorite part was the bus tours. The buses do not have doors and windows but it’s worth it! They take you to see the practice space station and the actual shuttles! The lines for these are really long so I suggest going early. The group photo in the beginning is really nice. The backgrounds make it look like you’re in space or in the space station. Worth buying!! Bring extra money because the gift shop has amazing items and it’s huge! There’s also a food court and orders are made on kiosk machines. They also charge an extra $5 for tickets at the gate. Parking is $10 and you pay electronically by scanning a QR code in the parking lot

It's literally an out of this world experience for the whole family! We've gone several times and never disappointed. Be sure to reserve a tour via the tram. ( It's included in general admission price) Give yourself time to really explore because there's a lot to take in. The membership is worth it if you plan on going a couple of times a year.

Very cool place. Plan a two day visit and buy the membership. Definitely purchase your tickets in advance online . Try to see 1-2 tours each day. Pros: - Amazing exhibits - Fee-based and free team tours - updated and modern exhibits - Self-serve food ordering - Low cost membership options - Paid option to have breakfast with a ( retired) automatic. Cons - Very crowded - Bathrooms do not provide toilet seat covers - Gift shop items are pricey - Hot and muggy - pay for parking

We had such a great time here! Two adults and one youth. There was a lot of information to learn. I do suggest doing the guided tour in the starlight gallery; the tour guide was amazing and had such interesting stories! If you have young kids there are a few interactive things here within the exhibits but not a lot. There’s not a lot of interactive things going on for older kids. I do wish there was a lot more interactives throughout each exhibit. There is a lot of reading so be prepared for that! It took us about 2-3 hours to go through everything at a decent pace.

We decided to make a pit stop at the Houston Space Center on our way to the airport. I am happy we did. It is kind of a must do on a Texas trip. Lots of great exhibits well laid out with lots of visuals to explain our history of space travel. The first thing you see is a space shuttle on top of a 747 and that sets up the visit. There are stories for all the exhibits with all type of space travel gear. Space suits, helmets and other memorabilia all in relevant exhibits. It's a terrific place to take kids so they can visualize history.

This place was awesome. Lots to do and lots to see. The employees that we interacted with were all very friendly, fun and knowledgeable. The place was really clean and the bathrooms and restaurants were very clean. I'd recommend bringing your own drinks/snacks they are a bit pricey. Tram ride to the rocket was fun just very hot lol. Very good deal on the city pass!

My first time to NASA space center and it was for the Galaxy Lights experience during the winter holidays. This was such a great family fun event. The lights were festive and many were space themed. They also open some of their regular exhibits and the kids zone during the galaxy lights nights. Highly recommend bringing the whole family to enjoy.

A last minute decision, but so worth it. Overwhelming amount of information, even for an almost 5hr visit. Well laid out with good amounts of room to view all displays. The Mission Control room tour was very much worth the extra $15 I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Visiting NASA was a truly unforgettable experience. After years of anticipation and several trips to Houston, I finally had the opportunity to set foot in NASA, and it was worth every moment. The space agency's facilities and the Johnson Space Center offer a unique and awe-inspiring insight into the world of space exploration. From the moment I stepped inside, the excitement was palpable. The staff at NASA were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were more than willing to share their expertise and answer questions, making the experience even more enriching. Their enthusiasm for space exploration was infectious, and it left me with a profound appreciation for the work that NASA does. While my visit was limited to just a few hours, I managed to make the most of it. Exploring the Space Center, viewing the exhibits, and even catching a glimpse of the astronaut training facilities were highlights of my visit. The opportunity to see actual space artifacts and learn about the history of space travel was both educational and captivating. If you plan to visit NASA, I highly recommend allocating at least half a day. There is so much to see and absorb that a few hours might feel rushed. Whether you're a space enthusiast or just curious about the wonders of the universe, NASA's visitor center provides a window into the extraordinary world of space exploration that you won't want to miss. It's an experience that will leave a lasting impression and ignite a sense of wonder about the cosmos.

Always a great experience at Space Center!! Never disappointing, always fun and each time learning something new. We went for the Christmas lights and we enjoyed it very much, very innovative. It was not very long sadly and a little pricey, $25+ per person including kids.

Space Center Houston is a great opportunity to inspire young people and to learn about the future of space exploration. The exhibits are well thought out and there are interactive exhibits for the young and old to experience and enjoy. The NASA Tram Tour is excellent! You will ride a tram through the grounds and are allowed to access an elevated path through the Astronaut Training Facility where NASA astronauts train for current missions and where scientists and engineers are developing the next generation of space exploration vehicles. The tram tour is offered on a first-come, first-served basis for on-site guests. They fill up quickly! When you enter the center, visit the Guest Services desk first to get a timed boarding pass to access this tram tour. Boarding passes for this tour cannot be booked in advance online. There is a film in the theater that is very interesting and informative. There is a gift store to acquire space gear and souvenirs. There are many items to choose from. There is a fee to park. Use the scanner on your phone to scan the Q Code to pay the fee. You will need the license tag number from your vehicle. Have fun!

We came here as part of a school field trip. We had a fantastic time after hours in their facility exploring the exhibits and learning from their STEM instructors. They helped the kids build rockets, program robots, learn how to investigate mysteries by tracking down clues. The sheer amount of space artifacts and history here is incredible. Each display is thoughtfully laid out, but I will say the outdated maniquin people were a bit frightening. DEFINITELY TAKE THE TRAM TOUR! This was by far the best part of our time here. They took us out to see the Saturn v rocket as well as building 9 where they train astronauts and work on robotics. The tram tour is where you see the real work going on...science and engineering etc. I can't wait to come back here! The bathrooms are plentiful, clean and easily accessed from everywhere. They have a spacious and clean food court. There are two gift shops available and neither one was very crowded the next day when it was open to the public. I will say that some of the gift shop items were shockingly overpriced compared to other gift shops I've been in at other places in the past. For instance, a backpack was $90 and a basic pen was $7.

This place is amazing! It's so fun to learn about space. There is a lot you can look at, and going inside the exhibits is jaw dropping. Lots of learning and fun little things to do. The tram that comes with general admission is quick and easy to do. Food was good, would say over-priced. The kiosk to order is incredibly easy to use and you don't have to make everyone go to separate storefronts, it's all on the kiosk! The gift shop is a gift shop, so expect high prices but they have tons of things that are decently priced. Overall amazing experience. We went as a group of adults and it was fun!

This was a fun place to take the kids. I feel it’s a little pricey for just walking thru yourselves. It was educational and cool to see. Having a Q & A with and astronaut was sweet. I loved watching my youngest son, he’s all into that stuff and was amazed. Definitely a cool place to take the family. The place was clean and the food court they have was pretty good also.

Very interesting place to spend the day with your family. It’s definitely a full day thing. It’s really hard to visit everything in a couple of hours. There are three tram tours which take you on the NASA campus. All of them have set departures and for the most part all departures end at 3:30. We were only able to see two of them. Mission Control and Rocket park. Best advice if you want to see everything is to get there early. The shuttle and 747 were also really interesting.

We went on a cloudy windy day. It was pretty packed, but still enjoyable. The top floor was unavailable for viewing because of a conference which was the only downside. The shuttle outside can get pretty congested so if you get a chance go on a weekday. Also, parking is pay by QR code. They have signs posted throughout the lot.

The Houston Space Center was very fascinating .I loved how my family and I were able to go inside an actual spaceship. We were also able to see the actual size of the rockets and spaceships. And , they also have an area where you can walk through and see how they make the stuff for the rocket. They also have a great environment, and it's also very kid friendly. Great experience. 👍🏾

This was our first visit in about 20 years to show a relative. Even though it was great then, it is much improved and is now fantastic. Most of the exhibits are inside but Rocket Park and the Space Shuttle with 747 transport are outside. The exhibits are well explained and many are interactive. The most popular have plenty of stations for multiple participants. We didn't realize that we needed to make reservations for the 3 tram tours and only 1 was available by 1pm and still had an hour wait. But we had time to see another exhibit while waiting. There a food court with plenty of tables. Well worth the time and trip.

A great place to visit with family. Very informative. So much to see and learn. It's best to go for an entire day to be able to visit and experience everything. The tram tours are a must. They are the best part or the entire tour. Food lab offers food with a good seating area. Washrooms are easily available. Gift centre has many options for gifts and souvenirs.

We visited there a couple of weeks ago. Kids enjoyed a train 🚂 ride. Kids liked it but don't know how much they enjoyed it. You need to reserve a train ride, so reserve it right away using the app or an information desk. We did not buy pictures there but bought them on their website and it cost me $20 for all pictures.

An amazing experience with great tours and exhibits! Be sure to book the White Tour as soon as you can, it'll go fast. To use the mobile app to book any of the tours you'll need to be close to where you line up for the tours in order for the app to work correctly. Being inside the food court seems to work well. A great place to visit for space lovers of all ages.

Really cool place to check out. The tour was fun and informative. There is a ton of interactive and informative areas. Kid friendly but still a good time for adults. Make sure to get the app so you can get in the tour line virtually before hand (super helpful since it let's you know when it's your turn so you can have fun while you wait).

Wow! I was a little dismissive going into this. I've been to the Smithsonian in Washington. Been to what I thought were similar museums in San Diego, Seattle and Chicago. I thought I've seen my fair share of technology and flying things. What more could this have? Boy, was I wrong. It was fascinating to see how far we've come in such a short amount of time. And what was accomplished when the technology was only then being created is mind boggling. Parking was convenient. The cost for admission was fair. I think there was a restaurant on site - we didn't try it. The gift shop is cool. You can definitely find something to get to remind you of a great visit

I loved it...there are some exhibits inside the main area that really don't deserve to be there as they don't work. They need to be updated or removed. Apart from that if you are into space exploration there is a lot to see. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The food court has adequate variety from salads to burgers and sandwiches and the prices aren't exorbitant compared to some places can be with a captive audience.

To begin with, buying tickets online will save you 5$. The parking payment is also done online with simple interface. This is a great experience with lots of knowledge, information, experiences and memories to be made, staff here are very friendly helping people in every step. If you are planning to go on the tours please reserve for them as soon as you enter the facility. The Saturn V rocket is also on display for us to look at from close quarters. Lot of videos on play for us to understand about the space exploration and missions conducted in the past and the vision for the future. There are many activities for kids to have them inspired, to learn about the space exploration.

Loved walking in. The nicest staff at the front to greet you. The whole layout was well done and it was truly amazing. The food was simple and good. We LOVED the gift shop. Easy to spend a whole day there. Loved every exhibit and the movie clips. We also recommend the tours, they were awesome to see in person. The staff went above and beyond for recommendations as well.

We took our son and daughter when they were young and they had a blast, so we decided to take our sons daughter our granddaughter there. And it was not so fun anymore for a small kid, seems like everything was for and older kid 10years and older. I Remember they had Star Wars and other props that filled up the place. Now it seemed empty, not much for the younger side. We made the best of it for what was there. But not planning to go back until the granddaughter gets older where she can enjoy it better.

Space Center Houston is an absolute marvel for anyone fascinated by the cosmos. Since childhood, the allure of space has captivated me, and this visit exceeded all expectations. The wealth of knowledge and the interactive exhibits make it a haven for those eager to learn and explore the mysteries of the universe. The fun-filled day was a testament to the dedication of everyone involved, from astronauts to the passionate individuals working behind the scenes. A heartfelt nod to their sacrifices and unwavering dedication to expanding our understanding of the cosmos. A must-visit for everyone, as it truly brings the wonders of space closer to home. Gratitude to all the space enthusiasts making it possible!

If you are taking the tram, one day visit is kind of tight for seeing everything. Try to reduce the time on lining up, especially the space shuttle line isn't worth the time. If you really want to take a look line it up around 4:30, since it will close at 5 that will give you a much shorter line. The underneath 737 doesn't have a line, so go see that first and then line up for the space shuttle.

We had a nice experience! We arrived at 1pm, which was a bit late. We prioritized going to Mission Control. It is worth the ticket price. Note that Mission Control is very historic. If you have unruly children, they will ask you to take them out. We took the 2pm tram tour to Mission Control and did not have time to do the other tram tours. We had a good experience!

Space Center Houston is a fantastic destination for both kids and adults. It offers a seamless experience with the convenience of scanning a QR code for parking and ticket purchase. The center provides a wealth of information and engaging activities throughout the trip. At Space Center Houston, you can delve into the wonders of space exploration. Explore exhibits on aerospace, tour real space shuttles, and even participate in interactive activities. Immersing yourself in this incredible space environment, both children and adults have the opportunity to learn and discover about the universe and human missions in space. Space Center Houston truly is a wonderful destination to experience and appreciate life beyond Earth.

Really cool and neat place. Lots of stuff to look at and learn about and they even have a cafe if you go hungry while looking. Unfortunately most of their interactive items were out of order but the place was clean and had a cool futuristic feel to some of it.

Great place for kids to explore and learn. And great for adults too. Love the Mission Control tour. My little one enjoyed exploring things in the aircraft and displays in the space center too. The food at the food court was better than average museum food courts.

Honestly, a little bit underwhelmed. Maybe I was a too psyched. Should have kept expectations a little low. Worth seeing - Rocket park tram tour, astronaut talk, moon rocks. Can be skipped - astronaut training facility tour (takes too much time, 1 hour). Other exhibits are just ok. One can finish the whole experience in about 3 hours if you reach early and plan the exhibits and tram tour well. Not sure if the VIP tour is worth it, did not do. The whole place definitely encourages one for space exploration. Worth a visit, but plan well.

What an awesome place to visit. We bought the membership. It comes with free parking, discounts on food and items....and the most important part....a members line...whuch means you don't have to wait with everyone else and can mostly just walk right in the building. The items on display are really cool, the tours are really cool....the whole place is very enjoyable

Ever since my visit to Kennedy Space Center as a young teen, I've wanted to go to Johnson Space Center. Finally as an adult, I was able to do so. Space Center Houston is an amazing facility, packed with lots of information, artifacts, exhibits, rockets, not to mention the full-scale replica of a space shuttle that can be toured and the original NASA shuttle carrier aircraft. Unfortunately I only had 3 hours, so my visit felt rushed, but I took a lot of photos so that I read up on what I was seeing later as there was just too much to see in that short period of time. I would recommend at least a half-day to a full-day to really take in this amazing facility. I'll definitely return again the next time I'm in Houston. One of the best parts of my visit was that it was completely free as I have a membership to my local space and science center, and Space Center Houston was a part of the ASTC Passport Program, so general admission was included when I provided my membership card along with my drivers license. So if you have a membership to your local science center and happen to be travelling to Houston, check to see if your membership provides you access to the ASTC Passport Program, and if so, pack your membership card and some photo ID with you.

The beauty of this place lies in how simply it connects people with science. I hope every kid gets to come here at least once. It is not just curiosity inducing but also leaves a deeper imprint on your imagination at various levels. Level 3 of the astronaut training facilitiy is my favorite. This specific tour is a sensitive one and is out of bounds for the general population. But there are plenty of places where one can go without any limitations and take pics as well. Recommended attractions: moon rocks, space shuttle including avionics, the space suits, the tram tour and the James Web Space telescope briefing.

This is a must visit when in Houston but a must have membership for local space fan residents. The museum is very educational and interactive, I mean you can touch a moon rock- how awesome is that. Once inside there are a few sections and you can take a free tram ride to another section. There is a second tram ride to control center but that is extra and can be arranged at guest services. Once done with exploring the museum a gift shop stop is necessary. There are ample souvenir options for everyone but the best thing of all is space ice cream. If you’ve never had one it’s about $8 and an experience to try. Neapolitan is the best!

Great experience. Well structured facility. Saturn V tour wonderful. Space Shuttle impressive. ISS module very interesting. 4 stars because not all tours were available. Better to book on line in advance. Wide Food court and good food.

Very interesting place to visit, but you'll probably not be going to visit more than once. I recommend coming here during weekdays so the place is not super packed and you can actually get onto the Tram Tours, which you definitely must go on when you are here. Purchase tickets for general admissions and the Tram Tours that interest you beforehand, I recommend the Astronaut Training Facility and Historic Mission Control ones. Go as soon as they open because you can definitely spend your whole day here, and sign up for the Tram Tours asap too. There's food available but nothing too special, bring your own water bottles as they're expensive here.

I have to start out with the positive. This is a really neat place for kids, and there is a ton of information to be pulled from each visit. I would recommend taking your time. To experience everything, you will have to go more than once. Now for the improvements. The elevator by the shuttle is out of service due to a remodel. This is an ADA issue that management should look into. When you have engagement areas for kids, everything should work as it should. The shuttle simulation was broken, and the gravity scales in the same area did not calculate correctly. One thing that we always review are the restroom facilities...in this case YIKES!!!! The level of unsanitary conditions in both the men's and women's was beyond unacceptable. I have only seen something to this level a handful of times. It is worth a visit, but pack your patience!

Worth the visit if you’re in Houston. Lots of great info and old shuttles in good condition. Was able to do the whole museum in a few hours. Not sure I’d come back because I got my fill but was worth the $30 admission.

Amazing fun filled day! The exhibits are awesome. You can touch space rocks, for a about $10 you can try the VR assimilation and go on a space adventure. Take a ride to the actual mission control room. There's a beautiful moon and star exhibit. Great place for fun and adventure, to get lost on space.

This place wasn't up to my expectations. The center wasn't that big so it didn't take us long to go over the whole place. Some models of the spaceship allow you to go inside and the line wasn't too long of a wait, but the RV at the lobby had a long line, like long long! The RV experience seemed to be the most fun thing to do at the center though. Overall, there weren't many things to do there except for spaceships and spacesuits to look at.

Always a great experience! This was my third visit in 10 years. They have renovated and upgraded a lot of aspects and exhibits since 2017. Staff is very helpful. The only downfall of the entire experience would be the website…..if the website were more accurate it would make the visit run smoother.

We went on a visit during a hot day. The way the staff handled the visits, I think it could have been better. We sat in a golf cart type of vehicle outside under the sun for more than 15 minutes. The temperature was 95F (35 C). I think the staff could have been a little faster in moving us around the facilities. Also some places in the facilities are busy and congested. Having someone guiding the crowd could have been done. Even by hiring some school interns. The visit was okay. We didn't see so much due to the heat and crowd, so we skipped some things in favour of catching a breath.
