I like this place. Well organized parking zone. I recommend purchase tickets online rather than in place due to long lines. Entrance closed at 10 pm, but once you got inside, you are able to stay there up to 11-12pm. Except light show, there are dinosaurs interactive area, food court with decent food - not just soda and popcorn, and amusement park with really affordable prices. I also would like to suggest arrive ahead to time due to popularity of this place. Great place to spend night with your children or your second part.

Nice light show all around and rides the only downside is that if you want to go in to the rides only you have to pay the wristband to the light. So don't pay light cant go in to the rides. Wristband for rides 29 dollars.

It’s a bit pricy but the lights were cool. I didn’t go into the carnival section so I can’t comment on the food or rides. However, you can easily find cheaper food options within a short drive. The lights are located in a mall parking lot. We just parked in the free parking lot close to the movie theater. Very short walk over. I can’t justify paying $10 for parking unless you’re really lazy. There is only one entrance. You can probably spend like 30 mins to 1 hr here if you’re just doing the lights and taking pictures.

Crazy amount of lights and really impressive decorations. Went during the weekend and there were a lot of people. However, there is plenty of parking across 4 or 5 lots. The ones farther from the venue are $10, the closest ones are $20 for parking. There is a small security checkpoint, but nothing crazy. You can bring tripods and cameras. There is also a big theme park near the back of the lights that you can visit. Expect to spend around 2 hours here, because the place is massive. would recommend.

Family fun, order tickets before 4:00p.m online cheaper. All rides cost extra tokens so get all day pass, all rides is unlimited. Make many magical moments ✨️

I had fun. I took my family to Magical Winter Lights and the magic was definitely there. The kids love it and it was a beautiful light show. Now I paid online so I suggest you paid in advance. We arrived at the 5pm start time, just before the sun set. There was no wait time and no line when we arrived but around 6 and 7 o’clock there was a long line. The parking was and extra $10 dollars and if was full by 6pm. The only issue I had was that the circus Christmas show is a added cost. The carnival is another added cost. The dinosaur light up rides was only $5 dollars per ride so that wasn’t bad but the train ride was also an add cost. They could of included the train ride and circus show with general admission but I did have a good time. The pizza concession stand guy that is located right by the carnival was really rude to us. He completely ignored my sister for 5 minutes and then when I try to order he was really rude and nasty. We decided to eat at the burger stand and they were nice and friendly. I would definitely so back and have the full experience with the circus show and carnival.

The castle part was nice and Christmas themed but everything else was really weird and not Christmas or winter themed at all. I thought there would be more winter/Christmas displays but instead it was robots, aliens, mermaids, jungle, and other weird set ups. Definitely was not holiday theme.

It was a great experience...even though it was extremely foggy that day the lights and music were just beautiful, it was fun.

Winterland Magic for all ages! This place has a very cool interactive Christmas light set. Inside the Disney light castle, you'll find a plethora of light exhibits. There's a food court packed with all your carnival favorites followed by a decent size amusement rides. Save your money and just purchase the $30 wristbands to experience all the rides!

This was a great display. Open air, large area with variety of food and drink choices. The dinosaur ate was very cool fir kids, brings interactive to a new level. The many displays were amazing . Lighted dance floor, you can ride a baby Dino lol little pricey but well worth it. My advise is go early.

Fun family experience. Smaller than expected for what you pay (on par with Zoo Lights), but the different “sections” were fun. Cute photo op setups. My daughter enjoyed the carnival rides, though many of them require height minimums, & I had to pay extra to go with her. Get the carnival wristband, it’s worth the cost for kids.

The location this year in Katy Mills Mall is awful. Parking was a nightmare. Seemed like there were less lights than previous years. If you’re looking for Christmas/holiday lights, this isn’t the place to go. The castle when you first walk in is great, but other than that, it’s a weird mix of light displays that have nothing to do with the holidays.

Don’t ever plan on going back. It’s absurd to put this in a mall parking lot, while the mall is open. NO PARKING anywhere near or far. Only reason I don’t want to go anymore is the absurdity of parking.

Plus side: no paid parking, Downside: very overpriced for what you get. We visited the day before Thanksgiving, so a smaller crowd. Would not recommend or return.

Was it an experience I was thankful for? Yes. Would it be an experience I would pay for again? Absolutely no. Lots of lights. Interesting arrangements. I've been to Disney World at Christmas several times, so maybe I am jaded because I wasn't blown away by beauty. Incredibly expensive for a family. We ended up paying $88 for a party of 4, before taxes. Not too bad, until you add on the rides. Online an unlimited pass was $25. At the carnival, same unlimited pass was around $28. We went as 4 adults, so we passed through the lighted area faster than we probably would have with little children. We made our way to the carnival. Janky is the first word that comes to mind. Swing ride, down due to wind, though we didn't feel any wind. On the ferris wheel, we got 3 times around for the equivalent of $6 per person. The ride next to it was working when we first got there, but then had a man trying to fix it (literally up on one of the legs) the rest of the night. Rollercoaster that goes in a circle sounded like the train of death screeching to a halt at one point. In all, I believe there are 8 adult rides, two of which were out of commission. As mentioned, party of 4, $88 before taxes for lights. Carnival was 25 for 1 unlimited pass and 60 something for 60 tickets. In total, we spent around 200 for 2.5 hrs. Am I thankful I had the opportunity to check this out? Again, yes. But that will be the last time I spend my $ on it.

Probably the best light installation in Houston. The lights are so vibrant and great for pictures. Family-friendly or couples. We got there early, as they opened, so parking was quick card/cash $20. Entrance was quick, they security check you at the beginning and check your tickets next (we bought online). The place is huge so lots of opportunities for pictures. We went on a chilly night so we got hot chocolates and coffee (great selection of drinks and food). We spent a good two hours looking at everything before it was time for the circus. Highly recommend the circus as it is a great price for great performances that include: aerial work, dancers, and motorcycle stunts. Mostly port-a-potties but there were also bathroom buildings. Highly recommend for a day trip, we spent about 4.5 hours here.

There are a fair number of Christmas light sets here for some nice photo ops to have a good time. Park is kind of on the small side though, wish there were more Christmas sets, especially for having to pay $23 for a ticket and $10 for parking. VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure you get tickets online ahead of time and arrive to the park at or before 5:30 PM. Trust me, you will hate this place if you get here at 7 PM because you will be in an hour long line. If you get here early and avoid the traffic, it’s a pretty good time.

We've loved going to this event for 3 years. This year was the worst experience. It seems as though some of the lights and experiences were left out to make more space for the carnival section, unless the parking lot restricted space too much and it had to be much smaller. There were more sections when it was in La Marque and Beaumont. We avoid the carnival section since we just want to go for the lights. Also, this year the staff was much more rude this visit which put a damper on the "holiday spirit." Finally, I know many rules are in place for a reason, but not being able to bring in an empty straw cup when you have 2 toddlers seems a bit overboard. I have been able to bring a cup in for my toddlers previous years. The experience of this year makes us hesitant to return again next year.

Good lighting, however there is more play area for kids than light decorations. It’s good for visiting once but not recommend for next time if you have already seen it.

Oh my gosh. This was our first year here and did not disappoint. The light set up was amazing. The food was delicious. Couple things. If you have young children, go right when it opens. We left at 9pm and it was getting packed. Also it's all card only. Over all we all had a blast and the kids enjoyed everything.

Not sure what I was expecting being in the Katy Mills Mall parking lot, but it was fun. Luckily we recieved our tickets from a family member, so we didn't have to pay anything to get in. The displays were pretty cool and seemed to be well thought out. The person they had on stage performing some music was a little awkward and was playing some pop songs instead of having some Christmas music. I probably wouldn't pay to go back to be honest though.

This was a wonderful event we attended. The Christmas lights on display were amazing. It was so worth the price. The carnival near was typical, overpriced. Over all, I still give this event five stars.

It was very pretty and I wish it had not rained that night. It was a bit pricey for the food, carnival games, and rides but as long as the kids were happy I'm ok with it.

The lights are beautiful !! Definitely recommend bringing the whole family! Great fair style food too. Rides are a bit sketchy and squeaky but kids had fun.

The Winter lights were very good. It’s a very good place for kids and adults. Musics and dance shows are also good. With musics you feel like you’re in a magical world

Our family had a wonderful experience at Magical Winter Lights! It really was magical. There were tons of beautiful lights set up, Santa and Mrs. Clause, Elsa, the Grinch and more. There's a variety of food and drink options available as well. There's also the carnival section to look forward to as well, with many rides, games, etc. We didn't do the carnival area this time but definitely would in the future. The pricing is affordable and well worth the drive.

This place is fun for the whole family. The lights are amazing and rides for the kids. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is in the past years it was much bigger. Still good but still room to make it what it once was

My family and I really enjoyed it. Great photo oops if you're into pictures. Keep in mind that it can get pretty pricey though, especially if you have a larger family. Overall we had a good time and there's something to so for all ages. My kids range from 1-17, the smaller ones really enjoyed the lights and walking around the different set ups, the older ones of course loved the rides. Skip the lines to purchase lockets by going online!

Rained all day. Lights were still amazingly beautiful. Grounds were wet, carnival and concession stands were not up and running. They scanned our tickets and let us walk through and take pictures, then still offered us a refund as we left! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Lights, camera, action! You will see it all here. Amazing holiday lights with so many themes and colors. There is a backdrop for everyone, from kids to adults whether they are little girls or boys, all have fun. Children enjoyed the circus show and the carnival rides. Some of the games were very dirty. For example: the duck game in water and the car ride. You need complete 6 hours to finish everything in time. Start early.

👍👍 I just moved here over memorial day weekend and have been exploring a lot of parks with playgrounds for my 2 year old daughter. I've got to say this might be one of the best parks I've been to. The playground is huge and has a lot of things to climb and play on. It also has great basketball court...
