One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to! I adored this place. The employees were so sweet and it was very nice to have a Starbucks right there in the morning! The convention center was beautiful and everything was kept so clean. The rooms were super nice and the water pressure in the sinks and shower was amazing. I really enjoyed the gym as wall and the pool deck had the most gorgeous view overlooking the city! Had such an amazing trip and would definitely stay again!!

Stayed here last week for a week. Hotel is nice and kept clean. I have 3 minor complaints. Our room was clean and nice. We were in room 6021. First, The telephone in the room had clearly not been wiped down in a long time. It was full of dust. Wasn’t a big deal because we never needed it. Just made you wonder a little what else hasn’t been cleaned. Second, there is a bar downstairs with a restaurant. I believe the restaurant is called 1600. Every time I went there to have lunch, it was closed. I’m not sure when this place opens. I never saw it open. Third, this hotel really rips you off with parking. If you want to park your car, you have to park across the street in a garage and it’s over $30 a day!!! You do have the option to Valet your car and that’s over $50 a day!! Wow that’s crazy to me. Drinks were very expensive at the hotel as well. I guess that is to be expected. It just felt like between parking and prices of drinks and food, they really take advantage of guests. Staff was very friendly and had no issues there. Over all a nice hotel, just be prepared to pay a lot to park at a hotel that you already chose to give them your money by staying there.

Stayed here for New Years weekend. Check in staff was polite and process was easy. Got to the room and it WAS NOT clean! There was a powdered substance on the TV stand! Found the previous guest shoes under the love seat! Mold was present in quite a few areas of the shower! The sink water flow controller was broken! Called housekeeping and they sent someone that tried to repair it but he couldn't. He tried to pretend that he did but it broke again within an hour. No one else ever came back to fix it or clean the shower even after I asked and they agreed to send someone. For the premium marking and price, I expected much much better than this! I've stayed in lesser hotels that were cleaner and had better customer service!

Great experience and stay. The staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms were spacious and showers - phenomenal water pressure - including accompanying supplies were glorious. I cannot remember the last time I took a 20 minute shower, but they were refreshing. The bar/lounge staff and Management were amazing and the food was quality. The rooftop lounge was beautiful and relaxing, with great views.

We stayed at Hilton Americas one night for a New Year's Eve party at this hotel. The check-in process went smoothly. While getting dressed for the party we discovered that there was no ironing board in the room and the safe was still locked by a previous guest. We called guest services but there was no answer. We then called housekeeping but there was no answer there either. We finally got in touch with a concierge who was able to call housekeeping to bring an ironing board and call security to unlock the safe. These items should be discovered by housekeeping prior to having a guest be inconvenienced. We also found a very large fake eyelash in the room. The next morning we discovered that there was only one coffee cup left in the room for two people. The above inconveniences are not what one would expect when staying at a "premium" hotel. Finally, when checking out we discovered that we were charged more for valet parking than what the e-mail confirmation we had received said it would cost. The staff member told us that the e-mail had old information and they would not charge the lower price as quoted. I guess the customer isn't always right according to Hilton.

Executive rooms are very spacious. My room was directly over Discovery Green facing the George R. Brown Convention Center. Executive Lounge offers breathtaking views of the Houston skyline. Wonderfully prepared and presentation of breakfast. Customer service throughout the entire property is OUTSTANDING!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 This will be my new STAY-CATION location

Hotel is fine, although I was there for a conference the price did seem high for by comparison, an average hotel. A competitor adjacent to the convention center is much nicer at a better price, Hilton is not living up to the price. I know it's a hotel, but $23 for 4 chicken nuggets seems high. Fun part. While my overpriced F350 truck was in the care of the valets, in their "safe" parking lot, the tailgate was stolen. Valets and valet manager we're helpful and apologetic, the parking lot security guard was helpful and apologetic, the Houston Police were helpful and sympathetic. The hotel management was nowhere to be found. Not even a "hey we're sorry, and we appreciate your loyalty have a bottle of water". Nothing. I'm guessing they were too busy to care about a repeat customer, whose company spent lots of money with for the convention had his property stolen while under Hilton's care. Zero concern = zero repeat business. Pitiful on almost every level.

wow this place is amazing. my son and his robotics team are staying here for a world competition at the convention center and this place is impressive. blown glass chandeliers, marble floors, fancy furniture and lots of really friendly and helpful employees. the restaurant is fantastic, I got guacamole thinking it was just a snack and it was practically nachos with all the toppings that came on it. it was super yummy. also super pricey, it was 15 bucks for a thing of guacamole and chips!

Great hotel to stay at if your going to be in town. I picked for a convention and very pleased with my stay. Chardae was the first staff member I met and was awesome with making my day. Rooms are great and I had a great view. Pay the extra couple bucks for the executive floor for the breakfast it’s view is awesome.

We stayed at the Hilton Americas for our trip to Houston for the Beyoncé concert! Our hotel room on the Executive floor was fantastic and roomy. The Rooftop Lounge for Breakfast was tasty. We even had time for a massage in the Spa and relaxed in the Jacuzzi and laid out on the roof top and got some sun! The staff was amazing! I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Houston!

My company booked me a room here for a layover. The hotel lobby is quite grand and beautiful. Check in was fast and easy and my room was nicely appointed and clean. Breakfast was included with our corporate discount and it was one of the best buffets I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. There were many choices including traditional American fair as well as fresh fruits and yogurts, oatmeal, omelet bar with lots of fresh toppings, and a parfait bar. The bread pudding was particularly delicious! The gym was also very nice with a lot of cardio machines, weight machines, and some free weights. Lastly, the Starbucks in the lobby was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel (especially if the breakfast is included :).

Stayed here for the night for a concert at the Toyota Center. Can't get any closer of a walk and several restaurants are conveniently located within half a mile or less. Skywalk gets you conveniently across from the garage to the Hotel. The bed was amazingly soft after coming in from a long day, and staff was very helpful with all my questions. I also requested a room with a city view and was not disappointed. Overall, I will definitely book here again when I'm traveling downtown.

Front desk staff were fantastic; hotel is elegant. The pool was disappointing - cloudy all 3 days. Over chlorinated to compensate - test and balance water daily and you’ll be on your way to a clear pool and 5 Stars!! The hydroponic garden with fresh vegetables was my favorite feature - salad was fresh and bar staff outstanding

Very good accommodations. lovely little touches in the decor and architecture Excellent staff who did their best to correct any issues. Wait staff for the breakfast grill was top notch and food was excellent. Gym/pool facilities were very nice. we were there for a convention and I appreciated how much the hotel embraced the event.

This was my second stay and it exceeded every expectation once again. I stay at Hilton’s all over the country and abroad. This is one of the top! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Dre at the front desk made my checkin easy and fast after a long day of travel. He was professional and helpful. Anytime I’m in Houston no question where I will be staying!

Excellent stay! Very comfortable. Walking distance to Toyota center. I would Uber every where else. My wife's convention was here and we stayed 3 nights. Loved the soft bed. Would stay here again. Thanks Hilton Americas staff for welcoming us.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Houston. Very great location very nice staffs very good conditions. Wonderful views from a room. That’s the reason why it is a little crowded over weekends. Anyway, I love this hotel.

I really enjoyed this hotel and I’ve never left a review for a hotel before. Brenda at the front desk was so helpful and kind. The bell hops were amazing & one nice gentleman had been there 9 years which is awesome! A gentleman working the pickup/drop off area was so kind and offered cold water and was pleasant to speak with. He’s worked there 11 years! I stayed in a Pure room for the first time and really enjoyed it. I didn’t wake up with a dry, stuffy nose like I normally do in hotels. Will definitely look for Pure rooms at Hilton properties going forward. Great location to other stuff within walking distance. Love the nearby park. Lovely hotel, lovely staff! 5 stars!!

Paulina and staff were INCREDIBLE ! We did arrive close to closing but that did not effect their service at all. They served us with a smile the whole way through. She even went out of her way to bring my daughter a cake for her birthday! BEST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD FROM AN HOTEL !

We were on the 11th floor with view of the stadiums. I love Houston's skyline and the bar in the 23rd floor offers a beautiful view at night. Breakfast is your standard Hilton fare, lots of food for the price! The valet service is excellent. Hotel staff is friendly (not just saying that because a former student is employed there).

The hotel is beautiful and in the perfect spot. The view from our room was amazing! There were a few things in the room that needed maintenance and it kind of smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but I'm sure it's hard to find a mattress that makes everyone happy. We'll definitely be back.

Well placed hotel for downtown activities and amenities. The hotel itself has a very good upkeep and I enjoyed the changing of their holiday decorations while staying here. Starbucks was impossible to get both times I tried lol. But I'm not going to complain over a place being busy. That's job security and confidence in placement. I didn't get to try the spa. However, I'm hoping to experience that on my next stay. Highly recommend for a personal or business stay!

I had an amazing time at the Hilton Americas in Houston! We were there for the Rodan + Fields annual convention. Since the hotel was actually connected with the convention center- it made things a lot easier! But the best part was the staff there ! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, it made me feel comfortable. Which is a good thing when you’re in a new place. The room was very clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub were amazing! I swam every day! Even if you don’t swim- you need to see the view from the outdoor pool patio. I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Each and every visit for work is a pleasant experience. I had an amazing time this evening at the Hiltons Lobby Bar. I was hoping to finish up on an assignment and enjoy my meal. The customer service was perfect! Thank you to Mateenah for the outstanding customer service and pleasant personality. You and Cynthia were awesome! Then to learn we are both from Philly, I see why you have great service.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay over the weekend. The hotel is absolutely breathtaking!! When I visit Houston in the future, this will be my one and only go to spot. The staff was absolutely great... Also, I can't remember what you call it... The overstreet walkway from the parking garage to the hotel smells absolutely AMAZING!!! I don't know what you guys use. But, it just smells heavenly. Most walkways do not smell good.

Me and my mom visited the spa today & We absolutely loved our nail tech, she was the sweetest most outgoing lady! We had wonderful conversations and received great pedicures. We were treated so great! The pool & sauna were amazing and we will definitely come back when we come back to Texas! We have nail techs at home but they’re nothing like the one we had here! I am also obsessed with the cucumber & lemon water. It was so good!!

Attentive crew , hotel is super clean. Lots of restaurants around the area. Only negative is the elevators are kinda slow, but that's just my point-of-sale view no1 else complained. Would definitely stay here again. One of the only hotels with an indoor pool.

Wonderful experience for a one night stay. The Concierge, Glenda, really went above and beyond to find a good place for dinner for me and my group of friends and was super personable throughout the process. Front desk was easy and accommodating for an early check in. The lobby bar has fantastic drinks and the bartender, Jason, has quite the way with mixing up amazing drinks and was fantastic as well. Try the peach whiskey drink, it's amazing! Rooms are modern and clean and the property overall shows well.

The hotel has improved since I last came. The service is great, Brenda from breakfast service was very friendly and helpful, the pool has been cleaner despite higher usage, and the top deck for Houston night view was as awesome as before. If there is one thing that is less good, it was that I can no longer find the electric car charger at old location and had to drive to nearby supercharger. Great work to the staffs for the improvement!

This hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and conveniently located in downtown Houston. It was so easy moving around from this point in the city. The staff was friendly and understanding when we needed to extend our stay. We loved all the amenities, especially the pool and gym. The rooftop deck was beautiful as well. A great stay

This is one of the best hotels we’ve EVER stayed in. The staff was so friendly especially at breakfast. The staff rushed to seat us each morning and made sure we were taken care of. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, it was unlike any other buffet I’ve been to. The selection wasn’t the normal. Fresh warm bread pudding, imported cheeses, overnight oats, fresh honey from a honeycomb, blueberry scones and much more. The bed was amazing! So comfortable! Again, we were impressed with the staff, even walking down the hallway they made sure to say good morning or hello.

Honestly, thought it was going to be better once I booked for my parents. I call at 7am told most likely early check in will be available at 12pm. Call at 12pm, get told rudely no l. Asked the guy to double check and he said “ I literally did” wow, great attitude! Well my parents were there already and they check in just fine not even 5 minutes later with a room? Love the communication between front desk and who ever answers the phone! Don’t even get me started on booking, I booked for a specific night and the group coordinators get the dates all wrong even though he keeps mentioning the correct weekdays. On hold for over 30m the first time, 20 minutes the second time. Breakfast included? I sure paid for it, they mentioned it when clocking in, but my parents were not given anything! They wake up go to breakfast with not being able to eat right away. Waiter goes to check with manager and never comes back. Terrible experience this year for them.i book their anniversary trips and will definitely be looking somewhere else. Hope the rest of their stay is better.

I recently stayed here for convenience (same location as event I was attending). The lobby is grand with some amazing hand-blown glass chandeliers and a beautiful 3D map. The room was fine, the price was high, parking was expensive, the restaurant was expensive, and no free breakfast. You might love it if you're a high roller, but I am a simple man. On my way back home I stopped at a Best Western in Louisiana. It was refreshing. It was much more laid back and relaxing and it was also clean and comfortable. I guess I'm just not the target market for a super fancy hotel.

Visited this hotel when we went to the nearby Discovery Greens. The main problem with this hotel is food/restaurants. The main restaurant Bar & Grill was closed (Saturday afternoon). The Starbucks was fully seated with people eating Chick-fil-a (like seriously????) That’s when we headed to the Lobby Bar which to my experience is the worst place I have ever been to!!! The waitress was extremely impolite and ignored us completely for whole 15 minutes after which we called her. She reluctantly took our orders and came out with out coffee after 10 minutes. When we asked her for water she pointed out to the bar where it was as if we we’re supposed to serve ourselves. Then came the food. The tables are so small that it couldn’t hold 2 entrees. That’s when we asked if we could shift to a different table. She simply left the one food plate on a large table , the other on our table and left… We were clueless as to what was going on and how a guest can be treated that!!! We called for the manager and immediately this waitress starts screaming at my husband as if he has misbehaved with her. The manager listened to us patiently but surely looked as if he is used to see this behavior from the waitress. There was no apology or anything… so we left without eating anything!!! This is the worst thing I’ve ever been through at any restaurant!!! Stay away from this hotel at any cost…

The staff were outstanding and room was comfortable. The hotel is well laid out and the lobby bar was a great time. Get the Queso appetizer! The hot water wasn’t always very hot and there were some construction noises from both inside and outside the building that made remote work a struggle. The executive lounge has a spectacular view but the breakfast could definitely use an upgrade and daytime snacks were limited to dried fruit and chewy bars. It also closes at 5pm except for Thurs-Sat night. Overall a good experience and the location cant be beat for conferences. Would stay here again and would recommend.

The best experience ever! The breakfast was amazing. Carmen does the best omelets and fried eggs! Fernando in charge of the bar area in the restaurant was friendly and helpful. Rommel a great server as well! We were greeted by the Manager Miguel Gallegos, and then we were surprised by him with a champagne and chocolates to celebrate our anniversary! Thank you so much Miguel you rock!. Being at Hilton is being at home! We’ll be back soon! Los Hernandez

I had a pretty negative experience to end my stay on here. With the rooms being as expensive as they are, it was not the experience I'd expect. I had a $15 charge at the gift shop that I spoke with the cashier there about BEFORE making the purchase to ask if my $15 daily Hilton credit would apply to my $15.16 purchase. She said yes, and we joked about the 16 cent charge that would go to my card. Flash forward to check out, and the front desk said that the credit didn't apply. And because I didn't remember the name of the cashier, Isis at the front desk couldn't call to confront that gift shop lady about it and said she couldn't honor it. She told me to go and see if the gift shop lady was working, but she wasn't. So there was "nothing they could do." What a negative experience to end my stay on. If this hotel is so concerned about nickel and diming its guests for its mistakes, definitely not worth staying here. Especially with so many other hotels within walking distance.

The room was really clean & bed/linens were very comfortable & fresh. Room overlooked the park, but was quite. Bath clean w/plenty of fresh white towels. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because there was a little mold in the shower. Had an issue with billing that was resolved within 24 hours. Overall, I would stay again. Staff was great especially valet staff.

It's a really nice hotel in a great location. As a matter of fact we booked at the last minute and found out the event we were attending was actually in this same hotel! The only issue was... the sheets did not smell fresh. But everything else was perfect! Nice sized shower, spacious room, great views and modern.

The rooms were nice but it took two hours to finally get us checked in and in our rooms. We kept being told it wasn’t clean yet but we watched countless people go ahead of us and get rooms. Other than that the stay was fine but we won’t be staying here again.

Great hotel, food, service and the breakfast buffet option was great everything fresh. However, I gave it a 4 star because the in room dinning hours were not available during lunch time which seemed inconvenient. Also, there was mold in the bathroom shower which wasn’t very pleasant.

I stayed for about 1 week. Nice rooms, good food. However, for some reason the valets parked my car out front, instead of in the garage. Lo and behold, one night the windshield was vandalized. Now they claim it's not their responsibility, even though the car was under their direct supervision at the time.

  • 4/5 A R. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Valet was totally not worth it. I called for my car for over 20 minutes and decided to head downstairs only to be told, "Uh, yeah. We aren't taking calls this morning." I waited for about 10 minutes for my car in the rain. Also, I ordered ONE breakfast sandwich and an orange juice and it cost $45 (including a $5 tip). The in-room dining is way overpriced. If you need food and don't want to leave the hotel, Uber Eats or Door Dash your food. Overall, this Hilton was wonderful customer service and the rooms were modern and very nice.

I’ve stayed at the hotel before for work and with family, and knew it was always a great stay, so my husband & I stayed on Friday night. Service was, as always, top notch. Everyone is friendly, professional, and helpful. My only complaint was the lack of cleaning from housekeeping. There were hairs in our bathroom and bedroom upon entry that were super noticeable, like a thorough cleaning had not happened prior to our arrival. The tray in the bathroom that usually has soap wasn’t stocked, and there were hairs on it. We brought our own soap so it didn’t matter, but it was gross. Then, on Saturday morning, 2 hours before checkout, a housekeeper tried to enter our room while we were still sleeping. She was polite, but I didn’t appreciate the fact that not only does she/her team not clean very well, but they’re rushing people out who paid to be there. Overall, it was a nice stay and we will be back. Hopefully next time we see a difference in cleanliness.
