Spa has unprofessional employees and managers who charge you hundreds of dollars for incorrect products. Don’t expect them to call you back to rectify any issues as it’s been over five days since I’ve gotten a return call to fix issues from these incompetent people who don’t even make sure your items you take time to buy after already spending others hundreds on spa services, this is completely unacceptable and a poor excuse to have this situation be at such a “nice/ posh hotel”. Racist and discrimination.

THEY DOUBLE CHARGE PATRONS - CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENT. I dined at Bloom & Bee (The post oak hotel manages the accounting for the restaurant) about 5 weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The food was average at best but the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful! If you’re the type to pay for an experience then you definitely want to check it out at least once. I even saw a celebrity while I was dining there. My bank and CPA brought to my attention that I had a double charge from Bloom & Bee and from there myself and my admin have reached out trying to get it resolved. 5 weeks later, still no response. I spoke with the manager Victor Borjas and he has dropped the ball majorly on following up. Even the receptionist say they’ll call back and don’t. BEWARE. Check your bank statements when dealing with this establishment and just dispute the charge with your bank because you’ll have to chase them to get your money back after intentional double charging.

My husband and I were excited to stay at the hotel on April 23, 2022. The room was beautiful and well appointed. Our disappointment came during the night, when we heard pipes knocking in the walls all night long and neither of us could sleep. Hotel guests coming in from late-night partying and congregating outside their rooms in the hallway also kept us awake. Upon arriving home, I used the contact form on the website to notify management. I never received a response. I would have called, but no direct number is listed on the hotel's website. I may have rated this 5 star hotel a 3, even after a very poor night's sleep, but lack of a response to a genuine complaint is unacceptable. We will not be returning.

This hotel is AMAZING! Wow. From the valet parking team opening and closing the door for us with a big smile, to the receptionist explaining everything, letting us know about the great restaurants and walking us to the elevator. Also Jose, our kind and helpful bellman showing us the room, lights, speaker system, etc. We also had the pleasure to meet one of the housekeepers, getting our room ready with slippers and chocolates. She was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed… lastly we ordered room service and Leah was very sweet, presented our absolutely delicious dinner. Even the water on the flowers vase was cold. Bravo for your attention to details, taste to classy luxury high end finishes. Fantastic Experience! Spotless and impeccable hotel from A to Z

We had a great experience. I was a little taken off by the request to cover my shoulders with a gorgeous pink scarf but also very happy because it’s so cold in that place. Chelsea was our server and had the best suggestion for a cab. The spicy tuna sushi was perfect. But the absolute cherry on top was the help from David? Maybe that was his name. He said he was there for only 8 months but had service like he was there when they opened the doors. I can’t wait to come back.

The best five star hotel in Houston. The finest in luxury living. From the moment you walk in you are treated like a VIP guest. The staff is very friendly and explains every aspect of this amazing hotel. The rooms are well appointed, with luxury products in the bathroom. Huge showers and soaking tubs. Very comfortable ropes and slippers. The finest most comfortable beds you can lay in. The hotel bars are amazing, though the dress codes are enforced in some them. The on site restaurants offer a variety of fine dining to causal. All on site restaurants are amazing and tasty. The public areas of the hotel are beautifully appointed, and give off a very luxurious vibe. Everything about this hotel is 5 stars all the way. Would recommend this property over the other luxury hotels in the city.

Arrival experience was seamless. I was checked in and escorted to my suite all in less than 20 minutes! My suite was elegantly decorated and spacious. The dining options were plentiful and the pool was cool and relaxing. Our poolside cabana was also spacious and comfortable.

Ok, hold onto your hats, haha it’s kind of a lot. I normally stay at the Omni, but they were booked up and wow after this stay at Post Oak, I was ecstatic they were! Upon arrival, it was difficult to self park so I valeted, and I am so glad I did! The valet team was wonderful, very thoughtful, courteous, and made sure everything I needed was out of my vehicle. I’d forgotten one item, and they promptly went down to get it, and delivered it to my room. There was a very charming fellow from, I want to say Barbados! He explained how everything works, got extra water and ice for me—if I’d carried cash that day I would’ve definitely tipped him. I went looking for him the next time, tip in hand and was told he wasn’t scheduled for a few days! (I’d forgotten he’d told me that) The room was absolutely beautiful. I had a corner suite so the view was amazing, the curtains being drawn (electronically) was very relaxing and effortless (almost wish you could draw them back by a timer, let’s say around 7am), either way, fabulous! The bed was comfortable and spacious King), but luckily I travel with my plush blanket for extra comfort as sometimes it’s difficult to fall asleep in hotels regardless of how extravagant. The bathroom was my favorite spot honestly, being a woman..the sinks were (dual basins) deep enough, the bathtub was deep, and I also had the option to shower in their beautifully tiled shower. They had a shower wand which was perfect for washing my hair after pool time, and when I just wanted to relax with bubbles, of course the bath tub was my go to! There was also a small tv wall mounted and enclosed in the wall in front of the bath tub. The windows near the bath tub sold me on the whole experience, being able to receive sun and look out into the distance and all, which also had shades if you prefer them drawn. The closet in the bathroom had necessities such as ironing board, iron, hangers (if you don’t like stepping out wrinkled). When I found out about the bluetooth speaks in the ceiling, I could not resist connecting my relaxing music to it while I unpacked, also great for morning podcasts or news! I ordered room service the very next morning, the healthy options are abundant and delicious! You could also order pancakes and such (which I do love on occasion). I walked down to the spa, didn’t have time for a treatment but I have to say it’s gorgeous! I love spa time, so it’s a definite next time! There’s a handsome restaurant called Bloom & Bee, the oysters are to die for! The burgers are very delicious also! After going back to the room for a rest, I went down to the H Bar, it had a very interesting ambience, it felt a bit too close but also off kilter, hard to explain. I think I’ll just sit at the bar next time. The pool, the pool was beautiful! It’s directly behind check-in/out, I was so enticed, loved it!! The next morning I went down to Bouchée Patisserie, grabbed a cold pressed drink (it was apple, lemon, and something else— I forget) for later and a latte, both were very tasty! Concluding my stay, checkout was very easy (I like to leave well before checkout time), valet, again was very exceptional, brought my car around, packed everything into it with care. I had to have breakfast from Bloom & Bee before I left, so I did, It was phenomenal! I’d asked for orange juice, their orange juice is fresh, but it had pulp. I’m not a huge fan of pulp, the waiter immediately strained a fresh glass…absolutely delicious. Valet was so patient, waiting for me to finish my meal (quite honestly I took my time), then it was time to go. So friendly, and courteous from beginning to end. The service was exceptional! There’s so much more I haven’t experienced yet! ***Edit 16:18, I was to also say, the concierge was such a gentleman! Helped me figure out where things were and where I was supposed to be. I’ve gone from a first time guest, to a loyal one! Thank you so much for the care and consideration you all had shown me! I don’t know who does the hiring, but Fertitta has a wonderful team here! *Sasha Sterling

Stella's is beautiful inside and out. Parking is non-existent, but the venue is a cute little space tucked into the corner of the hotel. It features cheese boards, wine tastings and more. Best of all there's another bar in the hotel so you can take your group there when you're tired of sipping wine.

This hotel is breathtaking. There is no better word other than “perfect” to describe the staff, amenities, food, and location of this hotel. I surprised my husband with a weekend staycation for Father’s Day and the The Post Oak Hotel’s entire team was extremely accommodating. We booked the executive suite that had multiple views of the city from the sitting area and the bedroom. It was absolutely gorgeous.

Amazing service and overall experience! The Post Oak at Uptown not only lived up to the Five Star Hotel Rating expectations but far exceeded it. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful, excellent staff, amazing cocktails and good food. Worth every dollar and will be my go to from now on in Houston.

The highlight was the lobby and service. We stayed during the holidays and their decorations are extremely elegant. The staff were all highly professional and many remembered my name after meeting me once. This applies especially to the head of service, Carlos. However the room itself left something to be desired. The materials and construction of the bathroom were disappointing. The bathroom needed a few repairs (tub plug was not working and shower head was surprisingly small for the size of the shower)

My girlfriend and I did a staycation here and we absolutely loved it! It is upscale, customer service oriented and reminds me of The Peninsula in Chicago. Prior to our visit, we received an email asking for any special requests and I knew we were going to be in for a treat. Upon our arrival and our first encounter with the valet staff to the front desk staff that offered us bottles of cold water and made sure all of our reservations were in order to finally, our encounter with Kinsey, the manager of the pool, each experience left a lasting impression and they each made us feel as if our business was appreciated. The plush, thick carpeting is luxurious, the bathroom consists of high end products, the technology at available to open/close the drapes, order room service and request servicing at your fingertips, in addition to the high, comfortable beds is reason enough alone to make you want to relax, savor and enjoy your stay and not be in a rush. We definitely took advantage of a pool day and I love that the pool is only for guests of the hotel and not available to those utilizing the spa or resort day passes. The pool area consists of classic black and white striped awnings, chill music and plenty of lounge chairs, water loungers and cabanas. The drinks are good and the sushi offered poolside was delicious and refreshing. FYI, if you plan to request a cabana on the weekend, I suggest you put in the request as early as possible as they do fill up quickly. The Post is a beautiful hotel and with great restaurants such as Masto's, H Bar, Bloom and Bee, and Craft F&B, there really is no reason to leave the hotel.

The rooms are fantastic. You want for nothing. The front desk welcomes you, as does everyone, but they fall short on great service. Breakfast takes the better part of an hour. The billing system is shocking. It takes multiple calls to resolve matters. The shining lights are the unsung housekeeping staff, the valet and free town car service. Awesome, It elevates this hotel.

There is no denial that post oak Houston is the best place to stay. We love the luxury rooms and being able to decorate it to be even more gorgeous and luxurious. Here are some photos of our romantic room decor from PlayRoomHouston

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience that surpassed all my previous five-star hotel stays. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a team of professional and courteous staff who made every effort to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The service was impeccable, demonstrating a level of hospitality that is rare to find. The culinary journey I embarked on during my stay was nothing short of amazing. Bloom and Bee, with its vibrant atmosphere and exquisite cuisine, offered a delightful dining experience. Every sushi dish was a treat, perfectly prepared and presented. My birthday dinner at Mastro's Steakhouse was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was perfect for a celebration, and the food was simply divine. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides and desserts were equally impressive. It was a birthday dinner I will remember for a long time. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the time spent lounging by the pool, which was an absolute delight. The service was excellent, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was catered to. The food and drinks served were top-notch, adding to the overall luxurious experience. Chris from HBar is an incredibly talented mixologist, he crafted some of the most exquisite cocktails I've ever had. Each drink was a perfect blend of flavors, showcasing the expertise and creativity that goes into their preparation. The Post Oak Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's a destination that offers a unique blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. Whether you're in Houston for business or pleasure, I highly recommend The Post Oak Hotel for an unforgettable stay.

The Post Oak hotel might be beautiful inside but the outside is horrible, they do not care about the neighborhood and the dock of it is completely disgusting and so it’s the street because of them. Moreover, this hotel produces so much noise pollution 24/7, they are so careless and it’s the worst nightmare to have them as neighbors. If the owner and management care just a tiny bit they wouldn’t be having deliveries past 10pm but they do and the worst ones are between 2am-4am. Loud trucks running, honking, beeping, buzzing at midnight, horrible exhaust pollution and many more make the Post Oak hotel the worst place to stay in Houston. Do not support a hotel that is careless, self centered, greedy and does not care about the community surrounding it. Post Oak Hotel, you are destroying our lives through all day restlessness and deprivation of sleep. I hope karma gets you and all of the horrible people who can careless about others. F y’all .I. !!! Sincerely, YOUR NEIGHBORS.

This is not a luxury hotel. It’s just an overpriced casino hotel without a casino. If you’re looking to stay here expecting the service or amenities you’d get at a Four Seasons, Rosewood, or Dorchester property, you will be disappointed just like we were. Beyond the pretty facade, it’s Hilton-esque with typical chain restaurant food.

This complaint is for the valet and not the hotel. Hotel is very nice but why does the valet take so long. Even after I checked with them twice saying “it’s coming” when clearly it’s not. I can see my car right there in front (It would have been 30min faster if I had just asked for my keys and walk to my car and leave). After when everyone leaves from the event, then the staff ask which one is my car? Like really, you made me wait for nothing and the valet service is bad. Post oak hotel please check with your valet staff because they need some improvements. This experience is the reason why I never choose to valet and I would rather self park. But you are forced to valet bc there’s no other choice.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The service here is top notch, attention to details is unreal. They have thought about every single thing a guest will need . I congratulate the owners and managers for training their staff for great service and giving them tools to execute a wonderful experience for their guest .

We got a room for my daughter and her friends to celebrate her 13th birthday. The staff did a phenomenal job communicating before we arrived to make sure everything was decorated and ready for her. Everyone I interacted with was professional and polite. My daughter will definitely never forget this birthday.

Beautiful hotel! We were upgraded to a suite. Chocolates upon arrival! Disappointed we didn't have turn down service but the manager, Paulo took care of us and credited some of our bill. We loved the surround sound in our room! Perfect for a girls night out!

I've stayed here in the past and was extremely pleased. The size of the tub, the surround sound in the room, the remote curtains, the elegantly decorated bathroom, the entryway welcome tray, and so much more were above and beyond! The atmosphere is amazing. The service, H-bar, and the staff were all exceptional.

Although we did only stay for an hour the property and rooms were amazing. My mother who was watching our kids fell sick and we had to immediately check out. The staff was so nice about it and gave us a full refund no questions asked. We will be returning next month to enjoy our stay.

Great location. Decor and design were second to none. The staff was top notch. Lorraine in the poolside bar was a delight and great attitude. The staff at front desk was exceptional. I had the same young lady check me in as well as out. Fantastic experience!

I guess it depends on who you are… Aesthetically pleasing- yes. Service - no. Noted as an early check in- advised to come and waited over 4 hours for room. Told it was due to room quality assurance but the auto drapes still didn’t work fully so…Manager gave housekeeping the blame instead of resolving issue as a Manager should. House car picked me up at least 4x and NEVER opened or closed the car door. Picked up a diff race and you guessed- opened the door (with me in the car) for the female. Five star in terms of offerings as long as you don’t count service. Super disappointed with expectations.

I would give this place 10stars if I could! Your experience starts as soon as you book the room! I had the best customer service when I called to see if they allow service animals, the lady I spoke to was so sweet. They even had a dog bed, treats, toys and a scarf waiting for my baby when I walked in the room. I honestly wanted to stay in the room the whole time but had an event to go to that evening. My daughter was able to take our dog to the cutest dog park on the 5th floor! The room service was quick and the view…oh the view was beautiful! I cannot wait to go back.

I have never been to such a beautiful place in my life!! I enjoyed my stay on my 29th anniversary! The staff was excellent! Treated me like I was somebody and I am black. They never looked down on us. The food was unbelievable and I wished I knew what or how they make their orange juice.. very very delicious. Who makes it anyway?? Thank you Mr Tillman…..

This place is the best of the best!!! Jean-Pierre makes this a six star hotel!! His attention from check-in to check-out was nothing short of amazing. I know we weren’t the only ones staying here but he made us feel as if we were. Thank you JP for making our weekend incredible!!!

Honestly, I had the get on here and make a review for this spot. I literally haven't had a more pleasant stay at a hotel in a very long time. It was EXCEPTIONAL. The person who brought my breakfast order did a great job as well. I ended up leaving a bag of mine in the room on the way to check out. He happened to be picking up the tray at the time and let me know I left it. Very cool! The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are FULLY equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. They even had weights in the room for an in-room workout. The turn down treats were tasty and the beds were comfy. The technology all worked well, was able to place the food order using the tablet in the room. The lights and curtains worked well from the physical buttons but the tablets seemed to have a lag or didn't really work to open/close curtains and turn off/on lights. I'm a button masher so it made for quite the show when it caught up with mashing lol. Definitely hope to make it back here soon.

My original 1star review was for the reservations department. I was so happy to find out that person wasn't actually working at the property.... My stay was nothing less than amazing from start to finish! The customer service was unmatched! The pool area is beautiful and they even have a hot tub which was a pleasant surprise. I just checked out and I'm already ready to go back! It was definitely the best 5 star hotel I've stayed in. No complaints at all! I would give a 10 star review if I could.

Luxury at it's finest! Room service was very impressive. Requests for items were delivered within 5 minutes, in room dining within 20 minutes! Make sure to visit the Spa. There is a sauna, steam room and a tranquility pool. All your needs are completely catered to. The Spa is worth the experience. They also have a very diverse group of staff (representing the diversity of Houston!) who were all genuinely friendly. Very pricey hotel but worth the splurge. Take note that there is a dress code of business casual within the hotel.
