Great location, but as not impressed with the quality of my room. The hotel lobby is very nice and modern. I was very disappointed when I checked in to my room. I've been to a lot of IHG hotels and this one disappointed me. I stayed in a Standard room with a King bed, and the overall ambience of the room was not what I thought it'd be. The lights of the room are the old school orange lights (versus the modern white most hotels have). The restroom and sink area felt like I went back in time. I was pretty disappointed. Being a Diamond Elite member, and having the hotel in such close proximity to NRG Stadium, I expected more.

Hotel management is extremely horrible rude aside from that they will continuously go into your room and touch things even if they take your money or other personal belongings they will not hold themselves accountable. Do not trust any of the management especially Frida , She one of the many that is the person in the front desk. I had money taken from my room and then management this beauty with me saying it’s my fault for not putting something on the door. Room service doesn’t respect your privacy nor will care about it. Don’t come here !!!!

I stayed for 4 nights. The four stars are for the front desk and medical transport. Housekeeping would get 2 stars. Desire at the front desk was amazing. She was cheerful, kind and helpful, and courteous and saw to my needs. Mark with medical transport was attentive to special needs getting in and out of the van. Always cheerful and kind. Housekeeping however, never vacuumed or mopped in the room nor bathroom. They did not replace soap or shampoo products that were used. They did not leave coffee nor water cups until the last day, I had to go and ask each day. Did not replace decaf coffee used. They did not leave plastic bags for ice bucket. I had to ask for extra towels and wash cloths. Front desk was very helpful here in supplying necessary items. Just overall sloppy housekeeping and poor cleaning techniques. 😫

Our stay was awesome. Lady at front desk was very helpful and made checking in smoothly. I don't remember her name. We had originally booked with airbnb and our place was disgusting. We had to leave and find something else. Everything was so clean at this hotel. I would recommend this place to everyone. After a horrible start to our trip ended in good night sleep and a clean room. Thank u to the front desk.

I have stayed here every 3-6 months for the last several years with my mother in order to bring my mother to doctor's appointments. I stay here out of loyalty to the brand and proximity to the medical center. However, the last several stays have been extremely disappointing. 1. For the last several visits, we only are provided one towel and one washcloth. When I call the desk and ask for more, instead of someone bringing up to my room, I have to go down to get my own. 2. We decided to eat downstairs at the restaurant for dinner. We entered the OPEN door of the restaurant and stood at the sign that states, "please wait to be seated". Several staff persons passed by us without even acknowleding that we were there. On the podium read a sign, "please ring bell for service". Only there was no bell. I finally got the attention of a staff member who then got a waitress who rudely informed us that they were closed and we had to go to the bar if we wanted to eat from a limited menu. 3. There are no outlets near the vanity, at least in the King Suites. So women who would like to use a blow dryer or flat iron cannot do so in front of a mirror.

Local staff told son card was declined but hotel did process the payment. I had to go thru IHG Customer Care to use my card for his stay (Even though local staff said that was not an option). Hotel ended up freezing $500 of son’s vacation money because accounting does not work on weekends and will get to it sometime next week. My advice, skip the front staff because they think they know how to run things better than IHG Customer Care and triple your vacation budget if you stay here. Update - The $75 of room deposits that the manager said would be refunded cleared the account. The hotel kept the deposit. I would call that stealing money.

Terrible! Do not stay at this hotel! I have stayed here maybe 6-7 times only because it is convenient to my regional office. I have had issues with my room, I have been charged for someone else’s meal at the restaurant and I have had charges billed to my room that were not mine. My company uses a “direct bill” account for my overnight stays. On my last visit, instead of the normal $50 charge for incidentals I was charged the room rate of $195. On top of that “someone” in their office charged me for a no-show reservation that I never made. Another $175. Because I use a traveling account bank card I never keep a large amount of funds in that account. Those charges we paid but I was charged 2 NSF fees from my bank. What a scam! This hotel refused to reimburse me! Do not stay here and always check your bill.

I booked this hotel months in advance to stay for the Renaissance tour. 30+ days before my arrival date the hotel started trying to charge my card. They eventually cancelled my reservation because I failed to pay the full amount in advance because I was under the assumption I had to pay 3 days in advance not 30. I spoke with the manager Cassandra Luisa and she was absolutely unprofe and rude while speaking with me. Shis very condescending and I cannot believe she is the manager with her poor customer service. I called corporate and filed a complaint on my experience with Cassandra, however, I still rebooked for 1 night (9/24-25) so I could stay for the concert to avoid uber/ driving to NRG. I decided to cancel that reservation and book with Hilton because I realized even though it was convenient I didn’t feel welcomed after dealing with Cassandra so I cancelled that reservation. The cancellation policy said I had until 5 or 6 pm the night before check in to cancel to avoid a fee so I ended up canceling like a week before that date (9/16) . On 9/25 they attempted to charge my card $600+ and it was declined then the next day they charged my card $399.02. I called them and spoke with billing who had me email him my confirmation email so he could review the cancellation policy before refunded my funds. I’m not sure why their system didn’t show them I canceled my reservation before they charged my card the cancellation fee but it was very disappointing. I will never book holiday inn again this hotel is falsely charged my card without explanation and the customer service is subpar.

Great value based on location for events at NRG. Lobby is modern and clean. Rooms are ok, bathrooms needs serious renovations. No hot water in shower as well as taps don't work properly. Would recommend staying in a lower floor where it doesn't take running the water for 10 mins to get it warm. Doors slam shut, you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways. Service in the lounge was great. Overall disappointed for it being a Holiday Inn.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Arrived at room and it had odor of cigarette smoke. Called down to report and when I went down they already had our new room ready, and it was close to the old one which made moving easier. Shower was either hot or cold, no in between, so could not shower. Toilet we thought was clogged but finally flushed ao it was annoying. Breakfast was served which was a first foe me for Holiday Inn Express but had a limited menu. Overall we found the hotel a disappointment but the service was excellent.

While my fatigue from the road may have contributed to a challenging entrance at the Holiday Inn, the staff's friendliness and efficient check-in process quickly turned things around. The room, despite its spaciousness, unfortunately allowed for a nightly serenade from my rather vocal neighbors, particularly a woman who seemed unfamiliar with the concept of an inside voice. On a positive note, the rooms were well-maintained and boasted a commendable shower pressure. The $7 parking fee, while an additional cost, is worth considering for those traveling by car. In summary, my experience at the Holiday Inn was marked by a mixed bag of ease and challenges. If you prioritize cleanliness and efficient service over absolute silence, it could be a suitable choice for your stay.

Didn’t stay here but did park my car for a concert at NRG and loved that we could hang out in the lobby and pay lower price for parking. It also has easy access to nrg parking lot to enter stadium walk was not bad at all.

I called to book a room on September 7 for my wife who is a patient at MD Anderson. After being transferred four times I was finally giving a medical rate of $89 per night. I agreed to the rate and gave them my credit card information and was given a confirmation number. Five minutes later, I received a phone call from the reservation desk telling me that while, the hotels front desk had verbally approved the rate, a manager had stepped in and denied it. Apparently Beyoncé is scheduled to be in town and the need to make a profit was more important. Shame on you Holiday Inn!

It was an okay hotel. The lobby was very nice and if you’re going to the med center or NRG stadium, it’s great value and location. However, the hallways look “prison-like”. The room was nice and clean, but the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the toilet ran water the ENTIRE time, and the shower pipes were extremely loud and “squeaked” during the entire shower. Water pressure was good, but the restroom was comically small. Day staff was more welcoming than the night staff (who took forever to come out and did her makeup while we checked in). Overall, if you’re looking to go somewhere somewhat nice with about $90-100 a night, this is good. But if you’re looking for something more comfortable to sleep, turn the other way.

Room was too hot. Booked for Beyoncé concert. Front desk told me I didn’t know how to use an A/C but never helped fix it. I asked for someone to come up and fix it, was advised manager would come up and that never happened. Had to buy a couple of fans to be able to sleep. Never staying here again, not being able to sleep wasn’t worth having a walking distance to the NRG.

“Customer beware” first off they charge to park you car in there lot witch seams darn crazy as we we’re staying at there hotel. Then no breakfast for free. Sure they offer breakfast for 15.00 a person and trust me it is no better than the usual, even looks just like what we normally get included with our stay. As a platinum member I will not stay at this hotel again. Great location but not worth the extra expense. The Holiday Inn organization should look closely at this location and not put their name on it.

Remember to use HotelDully.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. Hotel was great. Things were a bit small considering the location of the hotel. My family and I had a great time at the hotel, but one of the fans was broken outside by the pool, and the restrooms for the pool were locked. Those are all things that don't really bother me much, but I did take notice of them.

Hotel probably needs a renovation soon… but it’s 5 stars for their amazing service! Everyone at the front desk but especially Latonya was so helpful. I had lost my charger and they let me borrow one of theirs. They also went out of their way to find me a bag for my laundry. Great, friendly staff!

The reason I gave a 2 is because I stay at this hotel throughout the year. My Dr. Is in Houston and u live out of town. I tried to book for March 3, 2023 & the minimum nights is 3 because of the rodeo. They cater to the event more focused on the money than being loyal to their loyal guest. These Rodeo people come once a year! So because I'm not booking for 3 nights I can't book. They have lost a loyal customer. I will be finding another hotel to stay in when I go to Houston. One that appreciates it's guest and their loyalty and won't treat them like they don't matter when the rodeo time is here.

Holiday Inn has always been our choice hotel to stay at when traveling, but this was by far the worse hotel experience we have ever had. To begin with, upon arrival, there was hair on multiple surfaces in the bathroom, which is just gross. You can overlook a stray hair on the floor, but there were multiple locations, including the counter and the back of the door where you hang your towels. The bathroom only had one towel and a couple of wash rags in it, and there was only a single bar of face soap. There was no body wash or shampoo. There was also no regular coffee, only decaf. When we asked for additional towels and coffee we were informed that they didn't have anymore. We did go to the exercise room and got a couple more towels so that we would each have one. If this wasn't all bad enough, our vehicle was stole from the gated, security guarded parking lot. There was no one at the hotel that would do anything to help. They would not allow us to see security camera footage or even do anything as small as take us to the rental car location 5 minutes down the road. Normally, we could have got an uber to get there, but we only had about 35 - 40 minutes before the rental car location closed. The staff of this hotel was very nonchalant and not very professional at all. I would definitely choose a different location if you have the option.

The staff was extremely nice and hospitable BUT that didn’t stop $50 from going missing from a room that NEVER requested turn down service. And be sure to check that you receive all $200 of your incidental fee back!!!! Mine hasn’t been returned and it’s been more than 5 business days. Overall the staff gets an A- but management of my situation and the lack of resolution after spending over $700 at this establishment is very disappointing. Not to mention the customer relations line has been busy for days so I can’t even express my concern to a person who can actually handle it or help!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. Nina, Susan, and the kitchen staff were great. They really add value to the whole experience and made me feel like a welcomed customer. The rooms were nice, but honestly what set it a part was the breakfast in the morning and the great service. I highly recommend this place just for that.

The hotel has a view of the Texans stadium on the one side with a decent pool view depending on the floor you are on. They have an in house at and restaurant which is always a plus. The staff did an awesome job Jaz was kind knowledgeable and got us quickly checked in. Our rooms had full service everyday. They also have security on grounds at night to patrol the parking lot it’s definitely worth the ticket.

We chose this place of course because the proximity to the stadium. But I didn’t realize it was literally right next to it! So convenient, and there is an opening to enter the stadium through the hotel. Unfortunately after the concert, that entrance was closed and we had to walk all the way around. The room was clean, the staff was accommodating. We loved the pool— wasn’t overcrowded. Our room key kept malfunctioning but it was swiftly taken care of each time. We didn’t try the breakfast here. There is a bar inside the hotel we went to which was eh, the bartender overcharged us and tried to argue about it, but realized it was her mistake after I showed her the receipt. Overall this was a awesome place to stay at a good value, and I would stay here again.
