Editing my review. Dropped my car off with the valet service over night. Picked it up the next morning and started heading out of town. I got a few miles down the road and notice blue pen ink all over my drivers seat. ( I have white leather seats) Called the hotel about the issue and was directed to speak with the valet manager. Spoke with him and said he would take care of it. He has since not fixed the issue and dodged all of my attempts to contact him. Horrible customer service and lack of care for others belongings.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency and wanted to provide feedback on my experience. Overall, it was a good stay with some notable positive aspects. The check-in process was excellent, and the cafe mart at the lobby offered delicious food and great coffee. The room service did a good job of keeping the room clean, and the valet service was fast in bringing my car. However, I had a negative experience during the check-out process. The front desk staff member I spoke to over the phone was unprofessional and left me dissatisfied. Considering the overall stay, I had initially planned to rate it a 5 out of 5. However, due to the check-out issue, I am lowering my rating to a 3 out of 5. I hope this feedback helps in improving your service.

Let me just start at how this hotel is expensive for no reason. Hotel was extremely noisy you can hear cars honking at all hours of night. We dealt with it. The last straw was when housekeeping stole a expensive clothes item out of our room after checkout. Also the customer service was horrible. We received no real help. First they say they found the shirt. Then I guess once they realized the cost refused to give the shirt back and lied and said it was a mix up they thought they found the shirt. This is a $600 shirt. And nobody is doing anything. No apologies the lady at front desk simply blamed my boyfriend for leaving the item behind in the room. No remorse probably because we are young and black we get treated with no respect no sorry no credits absolutely nothing was done to handle the situation. Thanks to then my birthday ended horribly. I will never give them a cent or penny. I guess we didn’t deserve for them to act like they cared not one bit. I’ll try my best to make sure this situation is escalated.

Hotel is really nice and a lot of fun. Big room and great service. The staff downstairs at the cafe, particularly Marzia, are super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and will come back.

Service was great. Kitchen Staff went above and beyond to help us get just the right type of food and drinks we wanted, each one of us. Especially our server Marzia, she went above and beyond, made me an amazing tasty pizza, and attended to our entire picky group. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and service here. Will definitely come back again.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The valet parking was over the top. I couldn’t say enough good things about the valet workers, they were incredibly nice and professional! My room was absolutely amazing. The location was great, there was great food and entertainment in walking distance. Can’t wait for my next stay!

Very nice comfortable rooms and great location right next to the huge mall. Their doom service offers great options like wings, and pepperoni oven pizza, they also have complex deserts like affogato. Comfortable beds and updates bathrooms. Lots of closet space in the rooms too and a table and sofa to work at.

Worst check-in experience ever!! Starts with the valet driver telling me I’ve made a mistake, only cars checking in and valeting may park in the valet line. I inform him I am checking in and he tells me I’ve made a mistake, the Hyatt Place is nearby around the corner. Having stayed at this exact Hyatt Regency multiple times, I correct him. Combative and rude behavior there. At the desk, set aside for Hyatt members to check in, I’m told I need to go to another counter. Just love the rude and ever surly staff at this Hyatt Regency. 2nd negative review I’ve left, service never improves. Also, if you are considering this hotel check the Houston Rockets schedule and DON’T EVER stay here when there is a home game! You’ll be lucky if the top floor is quiet by 3am and the hotel staff certainly won’t interrupt the non-stop party. Truly my last stay here!

Our stay here was great. The service was outstanding all around the hotel. Our breakfast service experience was amazing!! Sylvia and juli were extremely kind and very thoughtful! Wendy at the pool bar makes great drinks with a big smile. Will be staying there again soon!

Had conference this week and was there 4 days. The absolute best experience ever!!! The conference hotel was down the street and so glad I didn't stay there. You'll figure it out from the many bad reviews but not so at the Hyatt. Great turn down service and of course Marzia was just as everyone said, AMAZING!!! I will come back for sure. Thank you all.

The level of service I received by the front desk agent Hind was amazing. She was friendly, down to earth and just made my experience here a great one. Me and my friends both enjoyed this hotel, and the accommodations. I will forever be a guest every time I’m in town. I highly recommend this Hyatt location.

Spent a night at this hotel the experience was amazing. Hind at the front desk made my stay even more welcoming, (very professional). The rooms were fantastic and I loved the fact that the galleria was right next to the hotel. I would definitely come back as long as Hind is there.

Amazing experience from parking to getting checked in to my whole stay. Hind at the front desk was so nice and welcoming. I told her it was my best friends birthday and we got a room to relax and we walked in to a surprise birthday cake for her. This is a great location with nice views, staff and clean rooms ! 10 out of 10! Everything about this place is amazing. The staff are so professional, kind and welcoming. From the bartender to the housekeeper to the valets. Everyone made my time there great. The rooms are very clean. The location is great and right next to the mall. I ALMOST felt like the prices were too low for what I got. Any visit to Houston in the future I will stay here again.

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL! The staff is extremely helpful and the hotel is in a great location. It is literally right next to the Galleria so we walked there! The rooms are spotless. I am a clean freak but these rooms were so clean. There were seals on the toilet so you know that had just been cleaned before you came in. The pool area is also amazing and we felt very safe here. Overall a 10/10 hotel!

My stay was good! I came to Houston for work and stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks. Great location. The staff is very nice from the front desk, the restaurant, to the vale parking crew. The breakfast buffet delicious. Good gym and pool too. Kimbra Hill, the sales manager was fantastic, took care of me and helped me with anything need. Thank you all!

Our family stay was wonderful because of the friendly and accommodating desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and valet staff! Especially, Gladys, who helped us with everything and gave us great restaurant suggestions near by for our three day stay. The rooms were clean and beds really comfortable. We enjoyed the nice pool and fitness center as well. Not many hotels show this kind of customer attentiveness, it really makes a difference and we would definitely stay there again if in the area.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! The entire hotel staff was so friendly and courteous, the restaurants and room service were delicious and the service was fast! The rooms are modern and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Great experience, the staff is nice, kind and welcoming. Very clean rooms, clean linen, and a spacious room. I’m an advocate of the Hyatt chain but this one was set apart. The valets are outstanding! Special shout out to Gladys at the front desk! She made our check in simply amazing! Happy 6yrs!

Can’t say enough about this amazing hotel. When you live in the same city you enjoy visiting regularly, it can only mean one thing. We love it. Farrah, thank you and the entire family, and that is what you all become. The Hyatt is amazingly beautiful, clean, sexy, alluring and yet tranquil and peaceful. There are no negatives to be said about this home next to home. We can’t say enough about the place that makes you want to keep coming to and letting everyone know. Don’t miss out on this great location, friendly staff, and vibrant resort. You won’t regret you did.

Stayed for one Saturday night. The hotel is beautiful and I loved our room. We got a complimentary room upgrade due to the rooms being overbooked. I really enjoyed the heated pool that was actually nice and warm, unlike most “heated” pools, it was a nice touch considering there is no hot tub. The front desk staff is so sweet and accommodating. We felt like family from the moment we walked in. Will be staying here again next time I’m in the area.

This was my second stay at this particular hotel, and I was very disappointed in the Front Desk Personnel.. Her name is Hind. I arrived At the hotel, a little after 12 noon to see if I would be able to check in. ( which I requested early check in at the time I made the reservation months ago .) She told me that my room is not available. Which I understood.told me that she would send a text when a clean room was available. I walked over to the galleria and did a little browsing and shopping, and returned back to the hotel for 2 PM. Which was almost normal Check in time . 2 whole hours later …She proceeded to tell me my room was still not available it was still being cleaned . Fine went to order food at the urban star .. as I wait for food I notice groups of people being check in quickly by the second front Desk clerk and heading to their room and here I Am still waiting .. I ask Hind again h does she have any idea how much longer until I’m checked in ? & she still proceeds to tell me the room is being cleaned and has to be inspected before I check in.. she’s completely insulting my intelligence at this point .. trust me I know this game.. it’s happened before.. but, I expect more from a supposedly 4 star hotel! & a asHyatt Member. Also, when I get up to my room, I look out the window and there is a whole another hotel room directly across from my window .( pictures below, @ night I can see everything in the hotel room across from me & vice versa ! ) The guest from the other hotel could see directly into my room. So I guess she saved the best view in the hotel for me !! NOT lol …. I came in very nice polite. & very patient.. Hind is not personable at all.. the games she was playing is not cute or funny.. definitely should not be at any ones front desk.. not even the cheapest motel!! I will say that my check out Experience was nothing but pleasant and positive. The young lady China was Very pleasant, polite and quickly check me out and had valet bring my car out , brought a cart up to my room in a timely manner!! Another plus is that the Galleria Mall is walking distance from the hotel.

Overall great hotel with courteous and caring staff members empowered to make decisions to make your experience better. Our trip: 3 nights, long weekend family trip with a rental car From little thing as handing out free fruit to little kid, to late check-out or club access issue, the staff have been professional and attentive to your needs. One minor comment for Valet parking, they don’t always park the car indoor, although it looks like they drove it into the garage. Elephant in the room - Parking, valet parking only for $35/night. It is a 2-min walk to Galleria parking across from the street. Feel free to park there. Might be a hassle if in/out frequently with kids and luggage. Galleria is totally cool with overnight parking per one security guy in the mall. Other stuff: Great shower with adjustable height and removable handle; comfy bed; plenty of power outlet; the room does not have much view. No ice machine/vending machine Breakfast buffet: $24 for adult and $14 for kid. A small selection of food but each of great quality. Hot food: scramble egg, fried egg, some premium bacon, oatmeal, pancake. Cold food: salmon with capers; some premium croissant, and assorted bakery items. Coffee, real juice with pulp and tea If you have the free breakfast coupon, great! Otherwise, would be an easy $100 breakfast for a family of four. Club access is closed during our stay. The breakfast is also located in a small room with 12 tables. Might be temporary. Last call-out for a potential training thing. For my 3-might stay, the coffee pods are all DECAF which I single them out from the cabinet and Hope the house keeping would change them but to no avail. And the cap does not fit the cup at all. Guess that it might be an inventory issue.

Great hotel in great location. GM Farrah and her staff could not have been friendlier. Everything was just easy...quick walk to lots of shopping, good service & food at the hotel restaurant, anything we needed was immediately delivered to our room, really nice pool area and gym. We had a wonderful 4 night stay and will definitely be back!

Love this hotel! As soon as I walked in, I felt separated from the city. It’s a quiet escape with a great atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. I requested a quiet room and was accommodated with a room at the end of the hall. The location is great if you want to shop, I walked over to the galleria that is just a block away.

Very nice rooms. Very nice lobby and bar. The service is great. The drinks and food at the bar are great. The rooms are beautiful. There was a bottle of wine and small Charcuterie board in the room waiting for us. We are here on a casual business trip.

It is the standard of what I expect when staying at a Hyatt. They were very nice, friendly and helpful at the front desk. It’s very close to some good food and also close to the galleria which is good for your shopping trips! I would highly recommend this stay to anyone staying in Houston, especially if the galleria is in mind!

STAY AWAY FROM VALET/HOTEL THEY MAKE FAKE REVIEWS AND DELETE BAD ONES TO TRY TO COVER UP HOW BAD THE HOTEL IS. This is my second time leaving a review. Car was severely damaged by valet and they did nothing about it. They will not help you. They will make you wait more than 5 days for a response. Choose any other hotel in Houston. Would give 0 stars if possible.
