The front desk completely lied to me about room charges. I was told as a diamond member that I received a free upgrade only to be charged an additional $100 per night. Then I was told by the guy at check in that he would waive my self parking but was charged $15 per night on top of being charged $42 for valet but did not park in valet. I had a death in my family so I had to check out early and was still charged for the extra day. When I called about the undisclosed charges Brianna (front desk) answered the phone then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back several times and she would pick up the phone then hang up. Definitely the worst experience with this Hilton as a diamond. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I also have titanium elite status with Marriott so I will no longer stay with Hilton because this was not only unacceptable behavior but the customer service is poor. The front desk (Brianna) worker need to be terminated for hanging up in guess for no reason at all and the guy who checked me in just totally lied about the charges. Save yourself a headache and stay somewhere else.

Stayed for one night, We really felt like we paid for the name of Hilton and the Galleria Location. First impressions, the hotel definitely needs upgrades. We could see dust on everything. Flooring in the room was cracked. There is no microwave! Coffee maker is so outdated and would barely make coffee. TV was fine but so outdated as well, we had to press a certain channel to view the directory. The room itself did not give the style the pictures on here show. Upside of the hotel is that the front desk ladies are very helpful, definitely good size pool and the balcony view was great as well.

A great staff at this hotel. Went here for an event for 2 days and I must say the did a great job. Now I hate conferences but the food here was outstanding, great selection and surprisingly delicious. They have an endless supply of conference room and lounge areas to get work done. All of the staff here had great energy. Did I mention the bar? Great place to visit and unwind with the group after a long day with a good stiff drink. The success of an event always depends on the house staff and this location was on top of it all. 5***** to all of the staff here. Thank you.

Very disappointing to see leadership at this hotel support the annihilaton of the Jewish people and host a convention supporting what happened last weekend in Israel. Management couldnā€™t care less and refuses to answer questions about this. This event should be unequivocally cancelled. As a Hilton rewards member, I have reported this to corporate, and I will not be setting foot in this hotel again. There are too many nice hotels in the area than to stay at this one. Some things in this world should not be tolerated, and conventions of this sort are at the top of that list.

When I drove upā€¦I was not impressed. The building looks old and worn to me. As I approached valet, they were super friendly and helpful. The 5 star service did not stop there. It absolutely continued through my stay. The room was a bit outdated but they are still fairly nice. The location is great. You can really enjoy the Galleria area. Iā€™d definitely go more 3.5 but can only rate 3 or 4.

We stayed in a king room with the step out patio. The front desk person was friendly and checked in us quickly. Self parking was $30 for overnight and allowed in and out. There was blond hair all over the shower wall. The night was awful! Guest were slamming doors and banging on room doors like the room was being raided. I can not recommend this hotel. It was like living in a dorm filled loud drunks.

Spent just one night here for work. Would I choose this location? Probably not but this was work so location not up to me and everything around that you would need and feels safe. Hotel itself was very pleasant. Have everything I needed in spacious comfortable rooms. Room service prompt and very tasty. All staff that I came into contact with were friendly, polite and efficient. Good outdoor area and gym.

The stay was amazing from the start! Using the digital key to park and enter your room was so quick and easy. Everything was smooth and we had a great stay. The staff were all very helpful and kind.

As a diamond member this is one of the worst properties Iā€™ve stay at. I have tried numerous times to let them get my stays straight. But they fail. From overcharging my account. To rooms not having the amenities (like chairs) that are shown in the room pictures (I canā€™t believe they show a picture but the room does not have the furniture. That is lying in my opinion. The hotel is worn out. It does have a great location.

So I only came here for a convention, so if you're looking for a review on rooms and other accommodations related to that, scroll on by. For a convention, the meeting rooms were nice and spacious. The staff was friendly. The biggest reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the parking. You can only pay for parking with a credit card, not a debit card. The manager of the parking garage had to let me out because the machine didn't take my debit card, and I couldn't pay at the desk nor the valet stand. Because I'm in town, I rarely carry my credit cards on me, so this was a frustrating experience. What machine in 2023 doesn't take debit cards? So when I left and returned, I used the valet instead and spent more than I planned to. So if you're going to be at this place, bring your credit card.

I usually donā€™t write reviews but this experience was bad enough that I felt like I needed toā€¦ The location was good but thatā€™s the only positive thing I have to say. First, we called the day before to request an early check in. They told us to call the day of and they could accommodate, so we called on our way into town and after being put on a long hold they told us no, we would need to wait until 3. When we arrived at 3 they told us our room still wasnā€™t ready but they could get us into a different one even tho on the phone they said that wasnā€™t possible. When we got to our room, it smelled like mold and cigarettes. Everything in the hotel and room is old, slightly broken and dirty. Our mini fridge was broken and had visible mold inside. I took a picture of the hair dryer which was covered in sticky residue of some kind and I had to scrub my hand for a while to get the sticky gunk off of it. I canā€™t believe we paid so much for such a gross experience. Definitely donā€™t recommend booking here until they make some big updatesā€¦

This hotel is 3 star at best. While I understand that Covid impacted the hospitality industry in a way that may never be the same again, what i experienced at this hotel was unacceptable for the rate they charge. Stayed on the executive level and thereā€™s nothing executive about it accept it being the top floor. No lounge. No complimentary wine or drinks from the bar. No free parking. They said the perk was complimentary continental breakfast and being on the top floor . A joke. I can walk off the street into a motel and get that for free. My bathroom was poorly cleaned upon arrival. The towels were not restocked , there was no kleenex in the box. I dont think my bed was a King although thats what I paid for. It had two plaster boards under the mattress that they apparently using to keep the frame stable and/or to keep the bed from hitting the wall šŸ˜’. i could feel those boards under my back. The heat stopped working yesterday and they didnt even so much as leave a note on the door to inform us the boiler went out. I only found out when i went to front desk and he so unapologetically informed me the engineers went home for the night. It was so cold in Houston this weekend and that top floor is drafty. I had to sleep in a hoodie with socks it was sooo chilly. There was a putrid smell coming through the vent that smelled of fish or dead animal. Maybe something to do with the boiler. The overall cleanness of the room and hotel below the surface is POOR. Soap build up behind faucets. Whatever towels are used to clean the bathrooms left behind smudges. Dust on mirrors, furniture, baseboards and TV. The elevator door looked like it hadnt been wiped down in ages. Just very noticeable bad maintenance in corners and crevices. Room features are bare minimum. No alarm clocks. No music playing device. No toiletries in the shower. No extra blankets in the closet. No robes. A very basic coffee maker , generic tea and coffee options, doesnā€™t brew very hot. Microwave only available upon request, first come first serve. Outdated bed and furniture and lamps, no art on the walls. The lobby and location will fool you. It seemed like a nice choice for the two events that took place while we were there but i wouldnā€™t stay here again. This hotel needs a huge make over of the rooms . and is that canā€™t happen, make up for it in what you offer your guest. Take out ā€˜executiveā€™ in the marketing of the 14th floor . The location is literally the only positive thing i have to say. Its within walking distance to stores and restaurants, but also better hotels. This was not a great experience.

Very faded property in need of gut renovations. Have been staying at this hotel for 10+ years and have seen it go downhill since there have been no investments made. Old rooms, old carpeting, tired and outdated bathrooms with critters all over the place, elevators in bad shape, popcorn ceiling that is about to fall off, scuffed up and damaged furniture, insufficient outlets, poor lighting,ā€¦. And service leaves lots to be desired (had to ask multiple times to have the soap delivered and even then it took an hour). The hotel should either been fully refurbished or downgraded to a lower brand. For some reason, it appears that Hilton is letting many of their properties slide as this appears to be the case with numerous other locations that Iā€™ve stayed at recently.

Over priced hotel designed to gouge convention goers. You have to beg to your room made more than every five days. They charged $42 to park my car on the street! The breakfast with tax was $32. It was the same breakfast most hotels give away for free. There is nothing available at night except room service and you have to scan a QR code with your own phone to access that which they charge $5 for plus an automatic 18% gratuity! There was not one scrap of paper or a pen in the room to write on. The rooms are dark, the bath rooms are dimly lit. Mine had a small shower and no bathtub. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. The next time I stay at a Hilton will be because there is no other choice.

I've have stayed at Hilton Post Oak countless times, and it has truly become my home away from home. The staff at the front desk are exceptional and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. As a regular visitor, they make it a point to get to know their guests personally, and I always enjoy engaging in conversations with them. Their friendly and attentive service adds an extra layer of comfort to my stays. The rooms at Hilton Post Oak are consistently clean and comfortable. Upon entering, I am always greeted with a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The beds are cozy, and the amenities provided are well-maintained, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay. The housekeeping staff deserves commendation for their impeccable attention to detail. They consistently ensure that everything is spotless and in order, enhancing the overall experience. In terms of pricing, Hilton Post Oak offers a fair and reasonable value for the quality and service provided. It falls within the average range for a hotel of its caliber, and I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. The comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional staff all contribute to making the stay well worth the price. Overall, my experiences at Hilton Post Oak have been consistently positive.

Pricey, but u get what u pay for. Dog friendly, great staff!! The room service menu could use a little sprucing up. Not a big selection and not much variety. And what we ordered had an interesting flavor. Not bad or good, just different. Nice room, nice bathroom, both clean (except for a beer bottle under the bed - as an aside, they actually had and "under the beds"! Maybe all the fancy hotels do - this one was above my means but the only one we could find that took dogs and was in an area i was at least a bit familiar with). I probably won't stay there again because of the price alone, but if u can afford it then I recommend u do! Staff was professional and they even stopped talking amongst themselves when they saw i was approaching the counter - and before i got to the counter. It was like i traveled back in time to when people realized they had jobs only because they had customers. Also, i left my phone on the counter after checking in and when i realized, like 2 hours later, they had it- safe and secure behind the desk. Let me tell u how much i loved that!! We also had very loud drunk neighbors 3 doors down. But that's nothing i fault the hotel for and our walls were thick enough to where it muffled most of the "ladies" obscenities.

Very clean facility, staff was helpful and friendly. Price was reasonable for the type of room I wanted. I'd definitely stay here again. I recommend others to give it a try.

We were there for a convention. The hand sanitizers in the lobby areas are clearly marked and were EMPTY the entire time. There were "empty" water containers outside the convention rooms, with plenty of cups, but no water. I asked the bar tender for a glass of water to take a pill, and he sent me right back out to the empty water containers in the hall. I had to go up to my room to get my bottled water. The place was not clean....animals everywhere...dogs cats some off leash. Poor management.

We enjoyed our first stay at this location. The food, atmosphere, and the staff were great! The room could use some upgrades but it was not the worst . Special thanks to Kaneshia at the front desk and Eddie Song in the restaurant for going above and beyond ! A1 costumer service! we will be back !

Over the past 7 years or so, I have become quite disillusioned with the chain. However, this visit went a long way towards actually restoring my faith that Conrad's vision of hospitality may still exist. The staff was excellent, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious and the facilities for our event were fantastic.

Had breakfast at the bar due to the restaurant being closed. Great breakfast. Even though my boyfriend did not want the room clean we went to the galleria shopping and they left the room extremely clean though he left everything everywhere(messy man) but thank you for picking up the room after him. Great location

I read a ton of reviews before choosing this location. The other reviews are correct in that the rooms are dated and dirty. Service was exceptional. If I stayed here for longer than one night, I might've given a lower rating. You're paying for the name and I'm surprised that a Hilton could be in this condition. You pay extra for everything, including parking. There is no continental breakfast as others have thought. There is a restaurant/bar, but it was just ok, nothing great. We got a fish & chips basket, shrimp tacos and 2 cocktails and it was over $100.

Arrived after 10 pm and left at 7 am so didnā€™t use any of the hotel amenities. A tad bit dated though rooms were clean and large. Great area and looked liked loads of places to walk to and grab dinner.

Great location in uptown or Galleria area whatever they call it. Convenient to many restaurants that you can walk to. Close to gallery of all close to gallery of all by bus or walking Easy access off of 610 Rooms are outdated need to be updated. The bar is old and needs to be updated as well His breakfast was very expensive in their restaurant. Lobby is attractive and comfortable

I went here for a wedding. I don't normally leave reviews, but I thought people should know this is not a particularly young family-friendly hotel/staff. All of the requests I made to help with my family for check-in ahead of time (bellman service for our bags on arrival, crib reservation for the room) were not followed through on very well. We had to wait 20-30min for bellman service with a fussy and tired toddler. We got to our room and the crib we reserved wasn't there. We had to wait another 30-45min for that to arrive. We received apologies from the staff but nothing to make up for the poor service from the get-go. My Digital Key and hard copy keys weren't working well with the room and the problem was never fully resolved. Rooms are not very noise proof and you can hear EVERYthing. Especially doors slamming when people enter their rooms (haven't we figured out how to make doors not slam by now?) Walkability to restaurants and grocery stores was great, however. And the event (wedding) we went to was great. Breakfast was above average for a hotel breakfast. Overall, the stay was OK. But a little more effort from the staff could have made it so I didn't leave a 3 star review.

I really have a lot to say. But my room was a better experience in 2021 vs 2022. Clogged bathroom tub- nail polish on carpet- back gone off TV remote- etc. I liked that I received text to check on my stay while I was there for 2022. I liked that they allowed us to check in earlier because they had rooms available.

I didn't have the pleasure of staying at this hotel since I was asked to attend as an assistant chaperone by my wife who works for a High School in the suburbs of Houston. However, I can definitely opine on the establishment, the service, their catering, amenities and the overall location of the venue. I've lived in Houston most of my life, have experience working in the restaurant and hospitality industry for more than a decade, in addition I have been to a variety of hotels in the area. This is one of the best locations due to the proximity (walking distance) to many eateries, shops, the Galleria, bars/clubs, convention centers, etc. The upgraded streets have made a dramatic impact on me personally since I have avoided this part of the city for nearly 2 years because of the traffic snarl when it was less robust infrastructure. Now accessibility has improved exponentially and the drive was not stressing at all even on a busy Saturday evening. The catering at the prom was phenomenal and the ballroom was immaculate in it's accomodations of such a large crowd of students and staff in a special way. The service was very attentive but not smothering as some other establishments tend to be. Overall it's was a great time and place I highly recommend it.

Cons: Hotel cleanness was not up to Hilton standards. Beds were uncomfortable. Room was not that clean. Bathroom shower was not that clean. TV and fridge were not plugged in upon arrival. Walls super thing I could hear everything outside my room. Had trouble at check in. Pros: close to mall and restaurants. Not far from the city activities. Balcony view was nice.

Great location. Check-in was fast and friendly, the room was spotless and well appointed. The only suggestion would be to offer a couple of tea selections other than chamomile. The best part was the lobby, it smelled fantastic!!!

I stayed at this hotel for Miss Texas USA 2022 weekend! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! My room was clean when I arrived. Using a digital key is so nice because I didnā€™t have to keep up with an actual room key. It was all done from my phone! The buffet breakfast in the mornings was well worth the money. I felt safe staying here with my daughter. Canā€™t wait to stay again!

Very nice motel. Within walking distance to the Galleria shopping areas. My room was exceptionally clean and had a small balcony overlooking a few skyscrapers. Hot water was instant and abundant. Water pressure is great, too. The lobby has a very nice sitting area. Breakfast is quite a bit pricey for what it is. I recommend ordering room service breakfast if you can and skip the buffet. It was $25.99 per person for the standard re-heated frozen potatoes, powdered eggs, and precooked frozen sausage. That are offered for free at other Hilton locations in smaller towns. They did have a mini section of sliced salami, ham, tomatoes, mozza and pesto.

I wanted to share my experience working with two phenomenal individuals two weeks ago. I had the pleasure of coordinating an event that was hosted by the dream team at Hilton Post Oak. I wanted to give a huge ā€œTHANK YOUā€, and show my appreciation to Chris, and Jaime as well with his wonderful staff as well. The event was done flawlessly! It was one of the best events Iā€™ve ever worked being in the industry. Chris communication and guidance was the perfect touch! I appreciate all the hard work. I look forward to working with them both again in the future!! Thank you, MP
